I'm practically there everyday. After a year of going there I'm noticing the attendance are not paying attention to what kinda wash I'm getting. I pay a monthly fee of 35 dollars a month, and been doing it for over a year now. This is the ninth time I didn't get what I pay monthly for. I don't pay for other vehicles to receive what I suppose to always receive. I'm not even told if my wheels are straight and end up rubbing the sides of the rail. Some of the devices aren't working 80% of the time. I shouldn't have to drive out of the way just to receive a proper wash from a different Zips

I go here every time I visit the Charleston area which is quite often and the people at this car wash are fantastic. I live in Knoxville Tennessee and I am so happy that Zips also has car washes in the areas that I like to visit. Thank you Zips Car Wash and thank you to the gentleman working there that I spoke with a few days ago I'm sorry I didn't get his name but he has a full beard. He was very helpful when I had a couple of questions. Very good customer service from this man.

I cancelled the service back on 12/18/2020, the lady sent me a confirmation of cancellation. Then I find out this morning, they have been still pulling $34.95 out of my account for the last 4 months!! Not happy about this. The main reason why I cancelled was, the car wash never cleaned the back of the car, and always scratched my car. Highly recommend not to use them. I know, I want my money back!!

I give up. I supported this brand through the pandemic. Everything I loved about this car wash doesn't exist anymore. The mat cleaning machine hasn't worked in years. I never see rags or bottles of cleaner anymore. You never know which location is gonna be broken or close early. The last straw for me today was knowing I spend $35 a month for my car to still look dirty after I go through. Only one worker (bless him), but couldn't spray pressure wash which is supposed to be included in my subscription. I tried really hard to stick with this business, but I'm just wasting money here. Bummer 3 yrs ago: I love this car wash! I get the max subscription with a monthly fee auto drafted. With the scan code on windshield can drive up everyday if i wanted and most days very short wait or none at all. They have an automatic floor mat washer/vacuum and free strong vacuums with air blowers to free up dirt from hard to reach areas. Access to a drying rag and general cleaner. Busy days they request you stay no longer than 10 min at vacuum. Every day the attendants give a friendly smile. My favoritie car wash!

I have utilized Wizard/Zips services through the $39.99 monthly membership for a while now. I had it last year, but when COVID started, they stopped allowing us to use the vacuums, so I "temporarily" discontinued the membership until I was able to utilize all services, ESPECIALLY the vacuums. When I purchased a new vehicle in October, I renewed membership immediately, so I could keep it clean on a regular basis, once again, the $39.99 membership. Just over a week ago, someone backed into the side of my vehicle, damaging the rear driver's side door and broke the window. I now have a large sheet of plastic and bright weatherproof tape over the window to keep the elements out, and prevent internal damage, until I take it to the dealership.for repair on their earliest scheduled day, in a few days. I decided to go to the car wash and vacuum my car so I could clean the inside and make sure I still get my moneys worth out of this membership for this month. The attendant refused the ability to use the vacuum without running my vehicle through the car wash. I informed the attendant that I have a $34.99 membership, and she could clearly see the damage to my vehicle, but I still pointed it out to her that I couldn't run it through the wash and I only needed to vacuum my car. She still refused my ability to use my monthly service, and moved the cones out of the way, "allowing" me to get out of the "wash" line, and had to drive past all the vacuums in order to leave the location. Apparently, contrary to the corporate procedure, THIS car wash, RIVERS AVENUE IN NORTH CHARLESTON, SC, has THEIR OWN RULES, so I suggest you look into a DIFFERENT car wash that will treat their customers fairly and allow them to use ANY service they offer under their membership REGULATIONS, regardless of the circumstance... I'll be terminating my membership today and look into using Fins car wash, which has already said I can use their vacuums and amyservice they offer per convenience. Buyer beware.

Stopped in and they had a promo for a membership. Details of the membership were a discounted rate for the first 2 months. Free to cancel at any time. I had a LOT of difficulty canceling this membership. I wrote a negative review here previously. But I stopped back in after having another charge on my account. The faces I saw were new faces. I spoke with Shay and explained my situation. And within a few minutes she had resolved my issue and had answered my questions as to what happened and what my membership. I had to have the previous tag removed when I had tint installed on my car and even though I was canceling my membership (moved to new location) she gave me a new sticker to use until the end of the month. The customer service here was amazing! Shout out to Shay for helping me today 🙏🏽

I am very close to my vehicles and take good care for where I get them cleaned but that is usually at home. One of my vehicles was really filthy and would take some time to do. I have been using Zips even before the name change. I was there a little bit later than usual and ran it through the auto wash and it did an excellent job. The vacuum is what took me the longest and wiping down the inside of the vehicle. David and his crew were cleaning up for closing and he told me "no worries and to take my time". He also gave me some techniques for a cleaner vehicle. I finished up but for someone to say that in Charleston is not heard of very often. That is a sign of respect and dignity for the customer and an excellent direction for a business. Thank you David for the respect you have bestowed upon customer satisfaction. Definitely a favorite on my list.

Don't go here. Place sucks. Staff is very unfriendly. Trash everywhere. Quality of was is not what it used to be. Under the ownership of Wash Wizard, prices were great and quality of wash was amazing. Plus the staff was friendly. Business wash quality and staffing went downhill since new ownerships of Zips. Save your time go to Fins Car Wash a little further down rivers.

No one insight. The one employee was guiding us in the car wash while he was on the phone just waving us in. The kiosk looked like it was broken, and half of the scrubbers weren't spinning... I almost decided to spend more driving to the manual car wash down the street.

Went to the rivers ave location just to get a basic wash a month ago. On yesterday I noticed that they have billed me for a monthly membership I did not ask for. When I called customer service the fumbled around try to find an account and placed me on hold for a long time. Came back to the phone and said the found an acct for me but there was no information or anything about my vehicle listed. They refused to refund my money and offers me a free wash. I am livid..Don’t go to this place because there are some dishonest employees who clearly benefit from signing people up for memberships.. The wash I got was not even worth the ten dollars or a membership.. Stay away from this location..Rip off

Very efficient and professional car wash! The staff was extremely helpful with choosing which wash was best for me and they were all super friendly! I appreciated the stocked towels and sprays to clean my car's interior and the free vacuums to use right after my wash! Something I have not seen at the other car washes I have been to is that they have air lines to help get debris out of hard to reach spots- game changer! I park in a dirt lot everyday for work so getting the unlimited membership was a no brainer! It has been super helpful in keeping my new car looking like a new car as I can take my car to get washed every week with ease!

Richard was amazing! He went above and beyond WAY more then just a spray down before going threw the car wash. He took his time and put in effort to clean as much of the build up off our car before sending us through. There was pretty thick layers if build up from our car sitting under an oak tree for months. Richard also gave us great advice on what to use to get the remaining build up from the top of the car. This was one of my best experiences at a car wash I've ever had. He is a very friendly and resourceful person. All around wonderful.

The Brushes never seem to work properly. The suction on the vacuum’s are mediocre at best . I have been by in working operating hours and twice in one week the car wash has been closed. Not worth the 40.00 a month I pay , I also have tried canceling my monthly service All they do is hang the phone up at the number I was given. Go some where else to wash your car🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Friday May 31, 2024 - 6:30PM, not a cloud in the sky. "This location is temporarily closed". It's become a sarcastic little game I play with myself. I called it before I pulled in. Lo and behold I was correct. Again, I'm trying to go out of town. Again, I'll have to pay for a carwash, elsewhere. This is my second review in however many months. I did try to be understanding. At $35/ month, averaging 2 washes a month, this is no longer worth it. I'll do what I need to do to cancel my membership, if I happen to catch the location open. Your insincere apology and $5 doesn't buy a thing. **UPDATE** September 28. One week into fall (ha). 11AM, closed. No one on site. Phone number results in a recorded message. They're "under winter hours, closing at 7pm" as if... I digress. It's a hassle to cancel an acct. But it will be worth it if I succeed in reaching someone.

Please be aware! The company policy is not liable for any damages on cars older than 5 years old. I went through the wash in a car that was in perfect condition and the brushes pushed my side view mirror out and broke it. The company said that they are not liable because my car is over 5 years old. Furthermore, their other policies basically neglects any liability for damage all together.

I've been trying different car washes in the area with the same concept. Zips has to be at the bottom of the list. My car was left with mud and sand just smeared around. I was so disappointed. The vacuums worked but be aware they don't offer rags or spray.

Worst experience I've ever had at any car wash. The guy took my $25 knowing that the water jet in the rear wasn't working. And neither was 1 of the spinning rag thing that's supposed to wash the top of the car. After exiting the machine, I saw that my car was the same as it was when I came in. I located the young Man, showed it to him and he said he knows that the jet was broken and he can't give me a refund. Which makes absolutely no sense. Why take my money for a service that you know I won't receive? And the vacuums don't work properly either. I have yet to find the corporate number. I want my money back.
