Canceling my membership, they're to lazy to even spray the car off upon entering nor to guide ya in. Not to mention always having bubbles left over. Closed half the time anyways.

I hadn’t gotten a car wash in so long, I decided to finally wash my girl last month. A younger dude met me at the car wash to help me and he told me if I paid X amount of dollars, I could get as many car washes as I want that month for free after the first time. (I only used it once). I asked multiple times “if I sign up for this, will it charge me next month?” He said NO. I expressed to him I did not want a subscription and I don’t want my bank charged every month. He assured me multiple times that this place wouldn’t charge me. Well guess who charged my card this month? I called and they did refund me, so good on the customer service on the corporate side. They also expressed to me I was signed up for a membership in which I explicitly opted out of on purpose. HOWEVER. LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE NOR ETHICAL. I asked so many times just to be sure. You can’t be doing that to people in this economy dude! Come on, do better. I will never be back. You don’t have to lie to people, I was going to get a car wash anyways. If your goals and numbers are so high your employees have to lie, this is a management issue.

This car wash used to be good and my go to! I hadn't been in a few months, and I decided to go today, the right half of the vacuums weren't working and the ones on the other side were BARELY functioning. It didn't seem like it was an off day, I sure hope they fix this.

I rarely if ever leave any negative reviews, I've gone to this location the past 7 plus years, different owners, always a great experience. I use to have a membership, however they are so focused on memberships that paying customers take a back seat and have to wait in line while they complete the process of a membership and block 2 lanes at one point. Guy was very unpleasant and this was a first, sadly loved this location.

After going through the wash the car still look dirty in the dryers don't do a great job at drying the vehicles, specifically the glass. I mainly wanted to clean the insides so it didn't bother me at first. They don't have the option to clean floor mats. Lastly, the vacuums do not work well. It barely vacuumed anything from the floor and some of what you vacuum will likely fall back onto the floor. I wasted time and money here. I should have followed my gut and went to the place on hurstbourne. The vacuums are powerful, the vehicle feels clean after coming through the wash, and you can clean your floor mats there. TLDR:The vacuums aren't that great, you can't clean your floor mats, and the wash doesn't seem that good. On the other side the customer service was decent.

I use this car wash almost daily since pass it on my way home from work. Staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Line moves through very quickly. My only complaint would be the back of my vehicle doesn’t seem to get squeaky clean but surprisingly for the first the gentleman was spraying off cars as we started through the wash! I think this should be done daily by the staff.

If something happens with your car. Car wash saying we will fix after 30 days kick off. No proofs or any other problems to not pay you. I would not recommend you place. Free vacuum working bad.

The guy taking your payment was nice. The lady directing you into the carwash had no personality and didn't do anything extra to my car. Usually, this person uses a spray gun on your tires. You could tell she didn't want to be there. No wait, but it was also 930am on a weekday. Price is high unless you're a member. Car wash was great - I chose the middle one. Instead of getting a single wipe for your dash, you can use their microfiber towels and spray. They're in the same area as the vacuums. I had to move my car because one vacuum was broken and not notated.

I believe they’re under new management because the new guy Dave was extra helpful and very attentive with the guest!; It changes the dynamic of just washing your car. I love people who actually enjoy their jobs no matter what it is or where it’s at; we need more positive people in this world! I recommend this place. Very nice, well maintained, organized with a great staff!

I'm dissapointed. Originally, this was Todd's Car Wash. I had been a monthly subscriber to Todd's for a few years. Then it was purchased by Zips. They immediately put up signs that stated you can only vacuum and a 5min time limit. Completely unreasonable. The staff went from recognizable faces, and a few names, to everyone previously there gone and replaced. The new staff is both fewer and seem completely disengaged. No smiles, no waves, they really look bothered most of the time. The biggest issue is hours. The sign that broadcast to tens of thousands of cats daily, says 8 to 8. They've opened late by 10 to 15 minutes enough that I can't count on a wash by being there at 8am and make it to work. They've also closed by 6pm multiple days. Unacceptable. I'm going to drive 5 more minutes and switch to Thomas Car Wash if this isn't fixed soon. It was a better company. Zip's has been a let down. Update Mar 4th 2023 Its 2pm on a Saturday and they have 1 of 3 lanes open. Line is backing up to the road. They sell a VIP member-only perks program for a monthly fee that includes a members lane. Hasn't been the case for a long time. Apr 15th update 2023 Five(5) cars deep and no VIP lane on a Saturday. It's taking so long, not sure why, cars are turning around and leaving. No customer care or assistance. On other days since my last update they've also been closed multiple times at this location and the NEW Hikes Point location during stated business hours. Time to switch. Does anyone have a preference between Thomas Or Mike's car wash? *I've also had damage to my car. Picture below. Called and no response. * new update. Saturday July 29th at 1050am. Closed... Update Tuesday January 9th, 2024 Closed at 4:45pm. I stopped by to cancel my membership and move it to either Mike's or Thomas Car Wash Next time. Do yourself a favor and avoid Zipps. They ruined Todd's Car wash and do not operate within the hours posted online or on the roadside digital signage.

Been through this place before and the wash job sucked. I thought I’d give it another chance and it still sucks. Talk to the manager. He said somebody went through their car wash earlier and got stuck in there and all the timing is off and something’s broken but yet they’re still letting people go through and taking their money. I told him I wanted my money back but they don’t do that. I’ve got two cards for free car washes. If I download their app I have one tire that got half a tire shine and the rest of them didn’t get hit at all. This place sucks

I do not recommend this place. I hate that the rags are wet with a damp, moldy smell. They are full of grease. Why don't they use clean, dry rags? How can you clean the windows with those rags? I've been to the Hurstbourne location, and there are always clean rags, and I've never had any problems. Today I waited a long time for someone to help me; the vacuum cleaners didn't even work. The videos only take half a minute due to the video policy on the app, but I waited over 10 minutes for the car to be washed.

Today was my 1st experience at this car wash. I pull up to the kiosk and use the touch screen to view the options. I then hear "do not do that". As I look up, a gal is standing there with a tablet and says " they want us to use the tablet". Customer relations needs some work. Maybe next time try ... "Good morning. I can help you with that". Needless to say I declined, turned around and went to another business down the street. When I arrived there, a young man greeted me with a smile, went through the options and sent me through their carwash.

Positive point is that it always passes very quickly, there are many additional vacuum cleaners. They give you a cloth to dry the car, and believe me, you will need it because there are many points to go through, because when it dries, you can see that in some places it is not well cleaned. But in general, I do recommend it.

AVOID THIS PLACE if you value basic customer service, cleanliness, and proper communication. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. I visited Zips Car Wash on Bardstown Road, and my experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Right at the main gate, the service was unhelpful and frustrating. The lady at the entrance seemed unwilling—or unable—to communicate in English. Every question I asked was met with her simply pointing at the iPad instead of explaining anything. It felt unwelcoming, and honestly, it seemed like we were treated differently because we are Asian. To make matters worse, the conveyor/roller system was broken, and I was told to come back later. When I asked for a refund, I was only given a customer service number. When I called, the automated system said the office was closed. I returned later when they were operating, but the experience did not improve. The vacuum area was poorly maintained. There were no clean rags available—only dirty, damp, and clearly used ones, which is unhygienic and unacceptable for a car wash. This was my first visit, and it left a very negative impression. I would not recommend this location to anyone looking for decent service or a clean facility.
