I love these neighborhood hardware stores. Staff greeted me at the door and immidiately escorted me to similar items as to the ones I requested. Several fellas we're on hand to assist customers. Overall store is clean and we'll stocked with various supplies, staff is polite and helpful. Prices are not the lowest compared to the big box stores however for a quick polite visit it's worth a few cents.

We have been here three times and each time we ask for help they look at us and walk away or walk right past us! We Will never go back to this store! I should not have to beg for someone to help me, I have never had this problem at the other stores.

I frequently visit this store but not just for the convenience/ close to home. I can always get help from their staff. Either just helping me find something specific within the store, or offering solutions and alternatives for anything I'm working on. In the rare occurrence this store doesn't have what I'm looking for they will recommend certain other Ace's or even a store in the area. Overall I would recommend shopping here to anyone wanting great service and that Mom & Pop store feel.

They have quite a bit of stuff at reasonable prices. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Quite a large decent variety of things for home improvement. I personally am a fan of Lowe's. It is a larger store with a wider variety of things in general. Ace Hardware, is a good place for the smaller in and out things and closer to home for a semi quick in and out. Downfall would be their selection of nails. If you want nuts and bolts it is a great place to go. Nails on the other hand, they have a slightly larger selection than Walmart.

I was very pleased with my shopping experience. The manager there accepted my coupon no problem and they sold 5 gallons of 1K kerosene! :) friendly employees, very clean and well organized over all a great hardware store to shop at!! I will return the next time I need supplies. Update: Still my go to hardware store. They have what I'm looking for when other stores dont!! Happy Customer

Walked in for plasti-dip got told to wait at a locked shelf and she would send someone over then proceeded to stand there for 20 minutes and no one came when I tried to find a different worker she said “I don’t know what that is” outstanding stuff right there

Had a great experience today with the team at the Westlake Ace. I came in and needed a piece of glass cut for a large box, and not only did they cut it, they helped me install it into my wood box. Thank you to Nate, Shanna, Rodney, Leila, and Mike for the great wood working advice. I appreciate all the help and advice.

Prices at this ace are higher than the others. A nut we needed 6 of were 1.40 a piece at this ace hardware and $.79 for the same nut at the west side side ace

Terrible customer service, they would not sell a wrench set at the advertised sale price of their website. They had the set in stock on the shelf but according to them I could only purchase it online to get the sale price. I went to the Westlake store on Douglas and Hillside and was able to purchase the wrenches in the store at the advertised price ( they even displayed the sale price tag on the shelf ). The Douglas store has far superior customer service that this store needs to learn from.

This store sucks. I ordered furnace filters that were supposed to be in stock. They cancelled the order for the filters so I cancelled the rest of the order. Now they aren't going to return the money to my card for 2 weeks. I feel like they are trying to rip me off. Walmart returns it with the hour if they can't fulfill my order.

So bought a 300 dollar key. They had to order it and I was supposed to be called after a couple of weeks. I had to call them, and find out the programmer doesn't work. Thry send me to another store across town and that person can't do it. Soooo I get sent across town again to a third store where I'll have to wait for an hour for the only person at an ace hardware that can cut keys with a functional programmer to get off of lunch. I don't normally have problems here but but this ended up taking up a good part of my day.

Went in to Westlake store for some paint. Sales person gladly listened to my request and immediately started the mixing process and was cordial enough to explain what he was doing. I got my paint and went home and painted my Christmas tree...

We're supposed to deliver today. They close in a 1.5 hours and no call fir delivery. Told it might be delivered tomorrow. We'll, the plan was to be close to home for delivery. Now I have to change things to make it happen. Too bad they can't even make a call. Was told no one was there to solve the issue. GM would be in tomorrow. Could not say that I would receive tomorrow. Not the way to gain or keep business.

Ordered a Stihl chainsaw that only this Ace Hardware had in stock for my husband for Fathers Day. Long story short we had to bring back to store, upgraded to another model and my husband loved it even more. Shout out to Nate who assisted us from the start to finish. Wow. Customer service at this location is above and beyond. They didn’t have what I needed in store, but Patricia was on it. She looked it up, called another location, and had them take it to the register for me. This store is very proactive in helping their clients. I really appreciate you all, and I greatly appreciate Patricia going above and beyond today. Thanks guys!!!

This is truly the place with the helpful hardware man. The several times I have been to this (close) hardware store, they have gone out of their way to help me find exactly what I needed. My picture of a device I was fixing let them look up my part, so I got exactly what I needed. I suppose the price is a bit more then other places, but I have, more then once, bought what I did not need over there.
