Great place!!! Its convenient and the owners are friendly and always willing to help. I drop off my laundry and they wash and fold. They are very reasonable and always prompt.

Don't waste your time or money going to this hole in the wall laundramat! They have only one extra large front load washer. After I had my clothes half loaded into the machine the owners got very rude and snobbish with me...telling me that I couldn't wash my 4 loads in that machine...and that it would break their machine! I asked if they treated all their customers like crap because I've been washing clothes for 30 years and have never had a machine break down! I packed my clothes back up and told them that they have the same machines all over town and that I'll take my business back to the ones who appreciates their customers.

The lady who runs this place is so sweet and helpful! The laundry is clean and my clothes are folded better than I ever did for myself! Highly recommend this place. All the staff is friendly, too.

Very small place. The owner was very friendly as well as other customers. Dryers work great as well as washers. I wouldn't recommend this facility if you have more than 3 loads due to space and other laundry services offered by this location which occupies the machines.

Contrary to the old reviews below West End Washateria does a great job. They've been doing our laundry for the past 5 years. This husband and wife team work hard long hours and are busy but always pleasant and friendly.

When I moved back to Galveston (Post-Ike), I rented a small private apartment on the East End, without laundry hook up and needed to find a laundromat. I drove around to several places, some places, I didn’t even get out of my vehicle…it was a hell no moment… I decided to drive to the West End and check out this laundromat. It’s a small facility and the owners are always on the premises from open to close. I used this laundromat without incidence for three years and then moved off the island. The owners were very friendly and the laundromat is always very clean. Fast forward, four years later and I am back at the laundromat. Got flooded out on the mainland from Hurricane Harvey and currently repairs to home are being made. I have my choice of laundromats to go to, but I do go out of my way to do my laundry at the West End Laundromat because I know what to expect. Friendly owners, reasonable prices, a clean facility and dryers that dry your clothes on the first go round. I am surprised by the few negative comments here. But I can tell you, these folks take care of their business and their machines. They don’t want you to put 50lbs of clothes into a 35lb washing machine. That’s not rude, that is just common sense. This is not a giant laundromat, but there are plenty of washers and dryers to do your clothes. They do offer laundry drop off & folding service. Don’t expect to come and clown around or trash this facility, like most laundromats, these people take pride in what they do. Our home is almost repaired and I will miss going to the laundromat, its nice to finish all your laundry in under 2 hours. But the owners are very delightful, why else would I come back four years later and drive completely out of my way to do laundry.

As a business owner that uses 5-15 sets of sheets a day there is no way I would ever consider doing business without the services that I get from West End Washateria. I drop my laundry off every day to every other day and it is clean, fresh, and very neatly folded usually by the next business day. The owners are always polite and friendly and although they are extremely busy, they take the time to talk to you and are genuine and kind-hearted people. Their place is always clean and in good working order. Thank You Both so so so very much, we couldn't do what we do with out you!!!

Me my husband and our toddler travel around Texas a lot so we always have bags of dirty laundry. We found this place close by our hotel and I am in amazement how they got the stains out of my sons white stuff. I have nothing but good things to say. They did a great job and they bring the clothes out to your car when come pick up!!!! Best service we’ve had in all of Texas!!!

This Review, was Supposed to be done Five year's ago back when the first shutdown happened so here it is, I traveled from Nebraska to Galveston Texas To meditate and pray, so I had My clothes washed here, it's a small place they're Machines functional and good. They Prefer not too heavy of loads for they're machines, also when You're kind they're kind 😉 they are Good Folk. They were actually the only True good one's there, as for the rest of Galveston many overpricing on everything And very angry attitudes. 😠 there's a lot more about. And I truly hope this laundry place an they who own it are well, And at the time That it was freezing there they were safe. 😏 I had something to do with that Sorry, Galveston 😠
