Proceed with caution. I went to Katie's with my brand-new car, hoping for a safe and effective wash. Despite its solid first impression, I was disappointed to find no 'contactless' option available. Although assured multiple times – twice by staff and once by the owner – that their car wash would not harm my paint, especially after I've invested in a professional Graphene Ceramic Coating (10H), I discovered scratches post just a few washes later. To those who value the pristine condition of their vehicle's paint, I would advise looking elsewhere. However, if you're of the view that such scratches are 'normal wear and tear', then Katie's might be for you. The team is pleasant, the amenities are handy, and the membership pricing is competitive, but the risk to paint integrity is just too high in my experience.

Quick service. CARD ONLY, DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH. 6$ for basic. More for other packages, to include under carriage cleaning and ceramic wax. Auto dry and exit. Free vacuums. Clean, returnable cloth towels for use. (Larger tote for used towels kept separate.) Window cleaner spray. Fragrance spray currently offered. Definitely an asset to the island because sand can easily be tracked into your vehicle even if you aren't at the beach. Highly recommend this place.

I just left Katie’s Express Car Wash in Galveston. Paying for the wash was fine, unfriendly, but fine. The problem was their machines tore my windshield wipers off. They were not turned as the surly , lazy unhelpful attendant in the office claimed. They wanted to show me a video inside the car wash but I wanted to see what was happening before I entered, the windshield wipers were obviously turned off. There was no apology, nothing, just you, the customer was wrong, strongly implying stupid. Odd way to run a business. There are several, just as nice , customer friendly car washes within a few blocks of Katie Express Car Wash, save yourself aggravation and skip this lousy place.

I use this car wash all the time for all three of our cars and bought the monthly package for each. Car wash itself is fine and the staff is very friendly. But if you are going to have an express package then have a special lane ONLY for express customers like you did when you first opened. Other car washes have figured out how to make it work.

This place was complete garbage! I paid for the premium wash and they didn’t even spray my back or front with the Anti bug spray before I entered the wash. I was also warned that the air blower was strong but once I completed my wash the air blower was less then par and still left many water streaks on my vehicle. The air compressor in the vacuum bay did a better job haha. If you want to pay premium price you might as well go down the street to a brick and mortar wash place.

I like this car wash. The staff is helpful and friendly. I can get in and out rather quickly. The only thing I don't particularly like is the layout. You have to make an awkward turn in order to get out after vacuuming. But not a deal breaker for me.

We hit a puddle of oil that sprayed all over our truck when we got into Galveston, and they power washed it off prior to entering the drive thru to ensure it got off and didn’t just smear. They also took all of our luggage bags out of the pick up and put back in the pick up when we got done. Great customer service!

Good, full service, automatic car wash. Prices cover a wide range. Undercarriage washing is part of some wash packages. They also double the package cost for 30 day unlimited wash plans. Great deal! You go twice in a month and you are covered. Need more frequent washing? You are saving money. Very happy with how my car came out. Wheels look excellent! It is exterior only, and you remain in the car. Free high power vacuums are available.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but the attendant at this car wash nearly caused an accident. The car two ahead of me seemed to have veered off the tracks, which wasn't a big issue. However, the attendant then told the truck in front of me to reverse, even though there was less than a foot of space from my car. I had to honk my horn to avoid being hit. The attendant asked me to calm down and stated he wasn't going to argue with me. I wasn't interested in arguing; I just didn't want my car damaged. We were then instructed (along with six other cars in line) to reverse put and we would receive a refund since their equipment was damaged. We did as told, but the refund was never issued; the charges still appear on my credit card. Meanwhile, they continued taking money from other customers knowing their equipment was damaged / not functional. Overall, this car wash is unsafe due to the limited space between vehicles and the staff's lack of training in managing the operation. I hope management addresses these issues to prevent future damage to anyone's car. Also, if management sees this review and could process the refund, it would be appreciated.

Being that it's the only drive-through car wash on the island, there are two more in the works, it is really good. You would think knowing that they don't have to make an effort they wouldn't. But, the service is really good there The attendants are quick to respond to any issues at the drive-thru. And the cleaning of my truck has been consistent for the last few months.

This was a poor car wash. It left dirt on the side of my truck and left the wheels looking like they were never washed. For the record I had not been in the mud either.

Don't come here unless you want your vehicles damaged. Cracked the plastic on side of my suv, a woman also was complaining about the same issue. And while we was there, a mirror got ripped off another vehicle. Don't come here, they're scammers. The workers claim that this happens everyday.
