I’m giving 3 stars tonight because the manager who helped me was incredible however the employee she had on the register was extremely rude and unprofessional. (Wendy (Wendi?) personally deserves 5 stars)She went above and beyond to fetch my receipt when one wasn’t printed for me. So I just want to say again thank you so much! However. Tonight when I came in with my daughter Chelsi who was working the front end kept stepping on her managers toes (figuratively) she was trying to talk over her manager and conversing with the customer instead of doing her job. When we came to the front we were looking around at the different products by the register and I wasn’t ready to check out yet. She told me probably 5 different times that she was ready to assist me and I had already told her I was still looking. Then after that the manager went to help this sweet elderly lady take 3-4 containers of soda to her car and Chelsi tried to follow her boss out of the store instead of manning her station. Her boss had to tell her to stay inside and it caused a scene. Then she proceeded to follow her boss to the back of the store when she came in. By this point I was ready to check out and there was no one to be found. When she finally did come back up she was making my daughter and I feel uncomfortable the way she was talking to her. When I asked for a receipt she told me she didn’t have one for me and then proceeded to call the manager. When the manager came up she tried a couple different ways to print the receipt. Chelsi then proceeded to tell her boss how to do her job and her manager had to tell her to stay in her own lane pretty much and tell her that she knows how to do her job. This employee embarrassed the manager in front of a customer which. Personally I don’t care, I get it I’ve worked customer service for 10 years. But if that would’ve been the wrong person watching this go down I’m sure things probably would’ve escalated higher. I’m sorry but there is no reason to be disrespectful and rude to your boss like that in front of a customer. It’s super unprofessional and I feel sorry for her boss tonight that her employee embarrassed her like that. If it weren’t for the fact that Wendy was so patient and helpful towards me this store would be getting 1 star. You guys have got a pretty good manager there though!!!!

Just saying but you could do lunch in shifts. Half of you go at 1pm. The other half at 130pm. It's not rocket science people. For being as busy as you are, you'd think you would wanna stay open all day.

I had this Walgreens print my college graduation cards. This was a big job and I am very particular with the product of this print due to the pricing. Not only did the Lindy call me when she did not feel like the print was coming out the way it should, but also reassured me throughout the revision process that things would be made right. We adjusted the print and worked together to ensure that I was happy with the end result. This was an amazing experience and I would trust this Walgreens for all my future photo printing needs!

Walgreens on Appleway is the Worst Pharmacy on the planet, it’s dirty, employees are rude and they are extremely slow. I have gone in 4 days in a row trying to get my medication, every day I am told it will be ready tomorrow. If your script was sent here… good luck!!

I needed to pick up a prescription that helps with mobility. I knew one of my two prescriptions were ready at 11. They told me the other would be ready in 15 minutes. I had some errands to run so I came back after 3 hours. I was told again it would be ready in 15 minutes and they would call me this time. They called the next day. Setting timeline expectations with someone who is needing this for mobility should just make sense. My wife’s 15 minutes and Walgreens 15 minutes seem to overlap 🤔

This is quite literally the worst pharmacy in town. Dropped off a rx for necessary medication and was told that it would be roughly half an hour wait. Now 24hrs later and three times of asking for any kind of status on my medication it’s no further along than where I started. I’ve asked for the RX to be transferred now twice and they refuse to transfer it to another pharmacy. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!!

I have recently been visiting this location for medications. It can get quite busy during peak store hours. The manager, Chance, is very helpful and polite. Most of the staff is friendly and provides accurate information.

Ruben is a fantastic employee. He fit in processing 4 passport photos (Me, wife + kids) while this location was slammed. I was a little firm at first that we needed them done today and Ruben knocked it out of the park while handling freight unloading, fedEx deliveries, AND other customers. He was also really descriptive of the entire process and accommodating. Guys like this are harder and harder to find these days. Keep it up, Ruben! Thank you!

I went to the Hayden Walgreens today. Drove to the pharmacy drive through window. I was in line for 1 hr and 12 minutes. When I finally got to the window to pick up my prescription the girl was very rude. It took me like 2 minutes to get my order. So my question is, what took so damn long??? If your prescription isn't called in before hand the pharmacy should not allow people to wait in line and hold up everyone else. They should be told to come in the store and pick it up. Very poor service at the Hayden,Id Walgreens.

My name is Wayne and I know sometimes this pharmacy gets a lot of grief when it comes to people not being able to reach the pharmacy by phone, but they truly do care and Dr. Chance the pharmacy manager goes above and beyond and out of his way to actually take care of people. He listens, is intelligent, gives great advice about medication’s, and is most of all trustworthy. When I speak to him about side effects and things of that nature, I feel at ease taking new medication’s after speaking with him. It is pharmacists like Dr. Chance that make these kinds of operations run smoothly and with trust from the community. While I’m sure having more staff would assist him in getting things done more promptly, he does a very good job with the staff available. Anyway, if you need help with your medication’s or have questions about side effects, I recommend speaking first to Dr. Chance if he is available. There is another pharmacist there named Dr. Wayne, who is also very tenured and gives excellent advice. I have spoken with both of them at length about my medications and always feel better about starting or stopping medications afterwards. Thank you Walgreens pharmacist!

Disaster!!! Waited on the phone for 45 minutes day one and 40 minutes the next day for them to answer. When I finally got through they said they would call our pharmacy to transfer a prescription to fill my son's emergency insulin. She "forgot" to call and now our pharmacy is closed. She told him to come back tomorrow. What?!?! This is a life threatening situation!!! My son became dangerously hyperglycemic over night. When he returned the next day they still didn't have his emergency insulin ready. 3 long phone calls and 3 in person visits to Walgreen pharmacy in 3 days...my son now needs to be hospitalized because of their incompetent negligence! zero stars

Absolute worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I get that you are busy. But when I come in 3 hours after my prescription was sent in (5pm- sent at 2pm) and asked when it would be ready and am told "sometime tonight we close at 10 we'll text you when its ready." I expect that to be the truth and not an auto response given. No text so I send my son to stand there at 9:30 to be there when its ready before they close as I am really sick. First guy he talked to said nope not ready, earliest will be an hour after opening tomorrow. He as well as I when I was there explained this is really important or I'm gonna end up in the hospital. I was told yeah well everyone's prescriptions are important. My son was told well we can't fill it tonight. Had I been told they couldn't get to it at 5pm I would've had it transferred somewhere else! I had him turn around and go back. Magically when he got to the counter again (20 minutes later) my prescription was already filled and she just had to go grab it. By the way no text ever came. Now why would you go through all the headache to cause stress to someone else, instead of saying we will work on it right now step to the side and wait please like every other normal pharmacy does?? The whole time my son was on his way there and there I was on hold for 1hr and 8 minutes and no one answered the phone. My son said just hang up no one is answering the phones here I'm staring at them. While yes I ultimately did get my prescription it was the absolute worst experience ever!

11.6.25: I belong to Walgreens rewards and got an email earlier in the week for a FREE 8x10, which they seem to send out every couple of months. What I love about Walgreens photo is that you can upload your pics online through their website and have them printed at any store for pick up or have them mailed to you. They also offer same day pick-up. I was in town running an errand and chose this Walgreens since it was near my errand. When I walked in, I headed to the photo department and quickly and easily picked up my photo. While walking out, I took a quick look around and saw they had Snoop Dog wine. I thought that was pretty cool and surprised to see it. I think I'll go back to pick up a bottle as a novelty.

I transferred my prescription's from Rite-Aid to Walgreens and I was worried that it would turn out to be a real cluster. But, it turn out to be a very smooth transition for me. I've said this before and I'll say it again, the pharmacy at Walgreens's at Appleway and I-95 and the staff are like a fine well oiled machine. Keep up the good work that your doing!!

One star for the man I talked to at the pharmacy after waiting on hold for fifteen minutes who said they didn’t partner with my insurance (my prescription was sent over four hours prior and there was zero communication about it) and that my prescription would be full price: then told me to call another pharmacy so they could call them and get the prescription sent over. Five stars to the lady I talked to about a half an hour later who helped get a coupon applied so I wouldn’t have to transfer my prescription or pay full price because she could probably tell I was upset: and then filled it within five minutes. Big thanks to her. Zero thanks to him.
