GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This used to be a consistently good car wash and express detail and I have used them for years. They were my GO TO. Now it is consistently bad. The higher they raise the prices, the worse the service. After they closed recently for a so called "upgrade" now they have reopened and it is awful. All touch screens now and they don't work. The employee that had to come out and get it to take my money said "it has been a pain in the butt and rarely works." HINT: New technology is not always good. The big black "mop"? at the end of the automated portion that is supposed to get the water spots off your windshield, just smears them around and you have to use your washer and wipers to see to drive out, the so called tire shine is half ass at best. Vacuum job was a joke, water spots all over my windows inside and out, no more wiping down door panels, mirrors have spots, they did not remove and clean my floor mats, they did not clean the rear seats of my van. Never before have I watched 4 people do so little and take so long to do it. They were clearly more interested in the conversations and looking at their phones. I literally saw one of them hold up the can and pretend to spray window cleaner on the window and then run a dirty rag over my window. I guess he thought the window was limo tinted and I couldn't see what he was doing. WRONG! I hope the owners are paying them very little. It is way more than they are worth. I paid for the top service at $34 and I will spend the weekend re-doing it myself correctly. I wish ZERO stars was an option. I don't want to hear from the owners or worse some teenager pretending to be "the manager". This experience tells me everything I need to know about you. I don't want some discount or some freebie or some insincere sorry not sorry. I am DONE and I will NEVER be back but I WILL spread the word. Best of luck to you. YOU WILL NEED IT.

I will never return to this establishment again. I’m not a person to publicly leave a review; however, this is beyond ridiculous. The spot on my dash wasn’t even there prior to the “cleaning”. When I got back into my car and noticed it hadn’t been touched, I said something to the 16 year old working, to which she just rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. If you are going to have nothing but teenagers run your business, I would highly suggest having a responsible supervisor there to help them.

Had a friend recommended me this company had two gentleman come clean my car they did a good a job but for some reason the workers took a 20$ bill from my middle concle not sure why sense is tipped them both 50 dollars

This place has the worst vacuums of any car wash I’ve ever used. I cancelled my membership because they refuse to do anything about the situation. The wash itself is pretty good, but the vacuums are hardly usable. They really need to upgrade.

I take all my vehicles here for the express detail. They’re so great for the price! Today I brought in my truck that has front end damage, so they couldn’t let me through the wash. But they were soooo professional and nice about it, and let me pay for just the express detail of the inside. I love it here!

I have been going here for several years however my most recent time my ray-Ban sunglasses were stolen. I hate hate hate giving a bad review just because one person is a thief but no choice. They fell off my center console onto the back floor board. Didn’t think much about it only that I’d get them when they were done. They are gone. Called spoke to a mgr, she was going to look into it but never called me back. The car wash it self does a good job just don’t leave valuables in your car even if you are only a few feet away.

I love this place but lately the service is slacking. Saturday I had my daughters car detailed, jeep cherokee, and they didnt open the hatch to vacuum or clean windows. Yesterday I had my truck washed and they overlooked the drink holders

5 stars. Employees were very nice and informative. Prices are very reasonable.. 29.99 for top tier wash, an extra 12.00 to have them clean inside... and with our huskey pup shedding, it is absolutely worth it. I couldn't have gotten the hair out this good myself. Before and after pics. I'm glad I got a membership!

This was my first time at this place and I was greatly disappointed with the detailing. As you can see they didn’t even try to clean my dash. The whole thing is still covered in dust except the one spot. And the knobs were still dirty and had smudges all over it. They did an awful job cleaning my front window too. For the price I paid I was extremely disappointed with the service.

First visit today to clean my Buick Encore (small suv) and was very pleased with the results. I chose the Works pkg for $33 and definitely got my moneys worth, including with tip. The young man cleaning inside out was very attentive to detail, I would definitely go back.

VIP Car Wash in Georgetown, KY somehow managed to turn a routine car wash into a repair situation. I entered with a perfectly intact driver’s side mirror and exited with visible damage. That is not coincidence. That is incompetence. A car wash has one job. One. Clean cars without destroying them. The fact that this place failed so spectacularly at the most basic expectation is honestly impressive in the worst way possible. Whatever is going on behind the scenes here, whether it is poorly maintained equipment or total disregard for customers’ vehicles, the end result is the same. Your car pays the price. Now I am left dealing with damage I did not cause after trusting a business that clearly should not be trusted with something as expensive and personal as a vehicle. I genuinely would not use this car wash if my car was caked in mud and it held the last bucket of water on earth. That is how little confidence I have in this operation. If you value your car even slightly, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I’ve always had a great experience at VIP- but today the staff went above and beyond! Once I got inline to choose and pay for my wash I realized that I had forgotten my wallet at home 🥴. Being stuck in line, I go out and asked the manager, Chris, if he would mind letting me out so I could go home, get my wallet and come back. Chris payed for my wash and said that he trusted me to come back and pay when I had the chance! Now, I am a regular here, but that still required a lot of trust on his part. I appreciated his kindness and will continue to give him and VIP my business as well as recommend them to everyone I know!

I went there. And my truck was not that dirty. But I had to go through it the second time. And I think for the price of $16 dollars. To wash underneath in the top. That is quite a bit of money. For it not to even clean your vehicle. I would not go there again.

Newest Update 11/8/25: I had the hardest time with Zips Car Wash. No towels and closing early. I need a dependable wash and VIP is if only ones in town that are consistent. I went back to VIP today and renewed my membership. Hopefully Chris will be his normal friendly self and I won’t be abused. Trevor really made me feel comfortable with reestablishing my membership. We talked as much as we could, as he was busy. I really think if Trevor was around the day that I had an issue, it would have been resolved before any of this silliness happened. As you read all of this… I’m giving three stars. Only because of poor attitudes. This place is the ONLY place I can get a good wash and trust they have what is needed to clean my cars. Chris, we all have bad days, and I said before. You’re a good dude and I think it was just an off day. See you soon in my yellow Sonata ; ) Update: I met Chris in October or November of 2023. I thought he was a nice guy and we chatted about me being from SC. He was the only full service wash open during that time. I really thought it was a great place and I continued to come here since I moved to KY. He and I have had pleasantries over the years and even discussed how Georgetown Auto brings their cars here. So, I decided to purchase one of the nifty monthly pass things. I rent my car out and it needs to be washed several times a week. Today 10/3/25 is when things took a turn for the bad. Chris interrupted a teleconference three times during my visit. He had an issue with my sticker and thought it would be professional to interrupt my meeting; which I had to end because of him. I have tinted glass and he thought the sticker was not permanently attached. He did not wait until the meeting was over and I was cleaning the car out. He asked no questions about why my sticker is the way it is. He was rude, unprofessional, and accusatory on this day. This is not his normal mode, however. Before he finished my refund and finally figured out why the sticker is the way it is. He offered a new sticker. It was too late and I did not want to have to go to my tint people at K&K to get my tint fixed again. I chose to go to Zips Carwash and luckily the sticker is compatible with their system. They don't have a very good auto wash, but I won't be treated badly there. Old Post: But still a great auto wash system... My friends, family, and myself will avoid and use Zips Carwash in the Walmart parking lot, however. Absolutely the best auto wash around. I rent my cars and they keep them spiffy.
