Angie, Janie (both East York TS) and Chris (from Gettysburg TS location) were fantastic. I was trying to find a stock tank 8ft without luck. They went above and beyond to find it for me and move it from 1 location to the other. Thank you so much for your help and getting my family the stock tank. Great customer service and highly recommend their Loucks Road and Gettysburg locations!

I really like this place. It has everything from work clothes to welding gear (not a big selection) to Horse feed to live baby chicks. They have a selection of tools with discount tool bins up front. I get my welding gas there.

Apparently the York store closes at 8:00pm but, their holiday hours sign posted on the door and the website clearly states 9 pm. Store employees saw us standing at the door and bolted. Numerous calls resulted in a , what do you want response when finally answered. Maybe they had something better to do than sell me what I needed. Shop at your own discretion after 5 pm.

I get lost in there, always something new that's sharp or useful or cute I want to buy. My kiddo always wants the realistic animal figures and I always wanna go home with a new knife or sharp tool. We have to call it a draw and refrain somtimes. Good selection of leather gloves. I go through them fast. Don't bother with goat leather. Planning on getting chicks from there soon this month!

I like the store and the people are very nice, but we are SOOOOOOOO disappointed that their pet wash is constantly broken and often very dirty. The left wash tank has been broken for many months and just a few weeks ago the right one went out of service also. We sometimes would go every week to a week-and-a-half as we are very active with our dog and the accessibility of the wash station was perfect for us. Why does it take so long to fix these things? I'm sure they are missing out on a lot of potential income from this down time. What a shame.

The folks here are always friendly and helpful. The store has a lot of stuff on the sales floor, and the aisles are always a bit tight. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I must always stop in when they're mega busy, because I always get stuck waiting in line. There never seems to be enough staff on the clock to run more than one register. After waiting about 5 minutes for the lady in front of me to do a return that the register wasn't letting the associate do, another associate came up and opened a second register. Chances are that corporate or higher management doesn't allow them enough payroll, but I'm just speculating. Overall, aside from the wait, everything was great.

I stopped in today May 1, 2024 and spoke to a Gentleman by the name of Tim. Tim, was knowledgeable in what the store sold, and answered my questions pertaining to dump cart tires. The store is lucky to have him, will due more business.

This is a nice store. The employees are always pretty friendly, and you get a nice greeting as you come in the door. I go for bird seed, and I will say they are lots of times out of what I want or have maybe a bag or two left. Their bird seed prices have really gone up the past six months. I may have to find somewhere else to buy. Otherwise, it seems to be a clean store with a variety of pet needs, including horses, rabbits, chickens, etc.

I usually like the customer service at most tractor supplies.NOT THE YORK, PA.STORE. I had bought it A number 6 bottle of ARGON from the tractor supply store $700. Now when I need it REFILED oh, that's a special order. All of our stores are not like carrying #4 After I was told on the phone.No problem.You're going smaller a cheaper bottle?We can do that in the exchange. 2 hours round-trip. I had to argue with the manager.She says they don't even sell straight ARGON. WRONG. She was grossly overweight and did not want to walk outside.And I told her that to her face. Not a happy tractor supply customer , not at all.

Had my cat neutered at the spca and was recommended by them to go to tractor supply for his FEV testing. It is fridays walk in only. I came around 2:30pm and stood in line for over an hour before i came up to the lady with the tablet who checked me in. She asked if he had his rabies shot and i told her yes he got it 2 weeks ago when he was neutered. After over another hour of waiting in line, (total of over 2 hours of standing), i finally get up to the door and the veterinarian comes out and asks for proof of my cats rabies vaccination. I said i dont have it in hand i can probably find it by email. She states she cannot see my cat without it, which OKAY UNDERSTANDABLE. i got out of the line to find it in my email meanwhile the person behind me cut me in line. I finally found it and had to wait again. My problem is why did the person with the tablet who checked me in say “hey before you get up to the vet make sure you have proof of your vaccine”…. She never told me that, so if i didnt have it in email i would have had to wait and come back NEXT FRIDAY! I even registered online days before and was never instructed to have proof it so that is ignorant on their part. After the service i went to pay and one of the people checking me out proceeds to tell me the type of symptoms my cat may experience with his vaccine. I said what vaccine? He had blood drawn only! So they are not knowledgeable and are unaware giving out incorrect information! Extremely irritating. So if you are going to do the walk in clinic make sure you have paper form or email proof of your animals RABIES vaccine or you wont be seen, since they wont tell you I'm informing you.

I recently had an online purchase that had a slight issue. I reached out to this store as they had delivered it to me and spoke to Kathy the store manager. She made the situation right and seriously went above and beyond my expectations on what any retail store would do in this day and age. I would highly recommend this store to anybody looking for a great customer experience

This store is very sad and nothing like the one in redlion. The staff here seem miserable, they're out of almost everything stock wise for dog food, the store is not organized, and the outside looks just...bad. the plants are all almost dead if not already dead and they don't have any tractors or anything eye appealing outside. This store definitely needs some help.

I would give zero stars but it didn’t give me an option. I came to this location around 11 o’clock to pick up an order and I am currently disabled unable to walk far and I was picking up a pretty heavy order so I parked near the front door when I got out of the car, I was greeted by very a rude women who told to move that no one can park there. I said even if it’s for a minute as I’m handicapped and can’t walk far and the woman that was at the main door was downright disrespectful she could have very easily told me to pull somewhere else and someone will come out and help me or something like that but instead she was downright horrible. There was another person also waiting, and she only approached them after being disrespectful to me mind you they were there well before me and got an attitude with them as well. I’m sorry but if you don’t like customer service, don’t work in customer service After I waddled inside because I am in a surgical boot, I stood at the customer service desk and waited just for no one to come help me couldn’t find a single worker so I ended up canceling my order and leaving. Very bad customer service.
