The cashiers made a fool out of me because I was using coupons. She embarrassed me in front of a whole line of people. The store is a mess. I recommend going somewhere else.

The worst DG store of york county Liz the assistant manager is the rudest most ignorant cashier I have ever seen in any retail store. Dont waste your time or money going there. Its s major annoyance for her to do her job. Will never step foot in that store again

The employees are friendly, and helpful. It is an older interior store and they manage to keep in pretty good order. It could use a total interior remodel. Prices are good with select items.

This store is terrible! I was in the store looking for a particular item. A nice older employee was trying to help me. Manager keep calling her and she yelled out. I am helping a customer. I just told the lady never mind because I did not want the nice lady to get in trouble.

The manager here has a terrible attitude. She is rude and is constantly yelling. I found 2 items that rang up a penny and when I got to the register she did not even scan it and proceeded to tell me it was three dollars. She stated "people like you" as she was yelling at me for finding these items. When I pointed out her clear rudness, she stated she did not have an attitude which she clearly did and the customers around me agreed. She then proceeded to follow me out the door and continue to yell. If I could give this place zero stars I would. She is very unprofessional and I felt bad for the other lady working with her because she was clearly uncomfortable.

I went to this location one time and it was during a 90% off for sale. I found a few things including a blanket ladder that was originally pricey. When I went to check out the lady at the register told me the ladder wasn’t included In the dot sale even though it was the same color dot on sale and the signs had nothing stated that certain things weren’t included. I ended up leaving with nothing I had in my cart because I was honesty just annoyed.

I have shopped here just about every weekend for a couple years. In the last few months the service has declined to the point where I am finished. Today I arrived @ 8:20 AM ( store hours 8A-8P) to find a sign on door stating they would open @ 8:30. I walked down to the grocery store, got a few things and came back. I sat in my car as other customers came and shook the door and left. At 8:45 I decided to leave. There have been other times I have waited for this store to open and this was the last. Two months ago I was actually in the store ready to checkout. Stood for ten minutes and finally called the phone # of the store I was standing in for someone to check me out! I worked for DG several years ago in NC and, believe me, their corporate standards are much higher than this...

Nice dollar general to work at. The cashier man and woman I've had both times have been quite polite and proper. The store is kept very clean as well as the bathrooms...way better then any other dollar general I've been to. This is a highly recommended dollar general.

Love the prices. But they head people from headquarters there doing an audit which only left one cashier who was being watched by a supervisor. Obviously she was uncomfortable made for a longer then necessary visit to the store. Had boxes blocking the aisles. If it wasn't for the fact that I needed the vitamins I would have left

I'm usually a very patient person. But my experience in the store this day was pretty damn ridiculous. I was the second person in line to be checked out. The cashier was checking out a person that had a bunch of coupons and multiple shopping carts of items, and was the only cashier available at time. I was fine with this, until me and about five other sets of customers stood there and waited for about 15 to 20 minutes. As we stand there and wait, someone else finally came out to start ringing out customers. But she decided to start taking the people at the end of the line, instead of starting with me the who waited the longest amount of time. By the time I got up there after she was done with the lady with the coupons she was basically done for the day and still told me I had to go to the next line over. And this was after about 25 minutes. Even though this location is very convenient for me to get to from my house or if I'm coming home from work I will not be going back to this location ever again. I have spent a lot of money at this location and I will now proceed to find a competitor's location to go to.

This is the worst store I’ve ever been at ever 3/30/25 the store manager was so rude to me not professional at all and needs to be fired from that store I came in the store looking to buy some hardware and also some soda that had a sign 2 for $7 so I picked it out and I go to check out at front and she tells that there was no sale on it even thought there very clearly much a sign for the sale and I tried to show her that the sign was right there but out of nowhere she starts being very disrespectful starting with curse words over something very simple that could be solved but she brought an attitude over something so simple I do not recommend people to come at all to that store.

Customer service was so bad! They are selling light bulbs that could literally cause a fire hazard. When I went in there to make a complain and return my product they said that I didn’t put in right when I had my light stand for years and never had this trouble. The bulb started smoking and when I told the cashier that, he said that means the light is working. The problem is not the light not working, the problem is the bulb could’ve caused a fire! Don’t buy this!

Went in here to enjoy a little bit of rummaging with my mom today on the 18th came across a bunch of signs all over the aisles stating that the blankets with the brown sticker is buy one get one free. So we rummage through all of the blankets and find two with brown stickers Get the hallway up to the register and there’s a new person by herself with no help at the register doing the best she can when we approach and explain we have to buy one get one she has to wait for a manager, which took 10 minutes to happen then and the manager comes up says she doesn’t know what’s going on or why so she calls someone by the name of Janet saying that’s their district manager and Janet says that was a sale that was over with yesterday the 17th so instead of giving us the sale seeing as there was at least 3 to 5 signs all over the aisle on top of waiting 20 to 30 minutes for them to get a hold of said Janet, the district manager we still did not get the sale. They said no because the sale was over with yesterday which how are we supposed to know that because that was not posted on the sign it just said buy one get one free brown dot So Janet, the district manager is the one that said no, and made us very unhappy customers after 30 minutes of waiting because no one was around to help and nobody would answer phones The nice lady with the blonde and blue hair did the best she could and was very polite and respectful, as well as very upset and flustered due to not receiving help or being able to make her customers happy
