Amazing work, moved here from Dallas last year and have been trying to find a local reputable car detailer shop. There’s a reason Derrick and this shop has the highest 5-star rating in the entire city. Well worth the cost and my car is brand new like the day I bought it 5 years ago. Highly highly recommend him for any car detailing service you need.

I got my car detailed as a recommendation from the person that replaced my back windshield due to the shattered glass where the speakers are located. I called this place since it’s very close to me. I don’t know if I would recommend though. I called in order to have the car vacuum initially and the owner acted as if he wasn’t sure about it although that’s one of the services according to google. So I agreed to a full interior detail and was told it started at $125. The owner got me in for that day after I finished work so he was flexible, especially since his hours would have been closed according to google. However, when I arrived to drop off and he was accessing the interior. I was told the trunk doesn’t come included in a full interior detail (never heard of anything like this before including from other places I called the same day) plus he kept adding $25 fees on like 25 cents. I agreed to $175 dollars not including the trunk. I understand stood the glass would have been hard even from larger companies. I was told my car would be ready around 8:30 or 9 pm. I called at like 845 it wasn’t ready and it would be around 9:30pm. I called again at 9:40 he said it was ready. I arrived and he was still hosing off my floor mats that he put in my trunk wet. I checked the interior it looked good at the time but I was also I was ready to go home with my car since I dropped it off at 5:50pm. He did tell me if saw any glass in the back where the speakers are to call and he could take care of it. When got home I noticed that the covers to adjustable seats were gone so I called left a message. He called back the next day said he would look and call back but he was sure there weren’t any there (which is possible because I haven’t had this car detailed since I purchased it 3 years ago). However when looking at my car today there is no way he shampooed and treated the leather especially since I’m still seeing glass and dirt on the seats. I can’t say that I would recommend. I have never had to wait that long for a detail. last time my car was detailed it was the interior and exterior at it took the a hour and a half, granted, there were more people than one person working on it, and the cost. I feel like I was overtly charged for a wipe down and vacuum that I could have possibly done my self like how I vacuumed my trunk when I arrived home. I understand that this a small business and he was the only person working but I am disappointed with what I received after paying $185 including the tax.

My car was disgusting when I decided to call Tip Top. I have 6 kids so you can only imagine what my car looked like. I didn’t have super high hopes I just wanted it cleaned up and to not smell bad any more, but right hand to god IT LOOLS LIKE A NEW CAR!!!! I am in disbelief! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars – Absolutely Blown Away! I can’t say enough good things about Derrick and Tip Top Detail here in Louisville, KY. I brought my car in with my hood looking rough (let’s just say it had “seen some things” 😂), and when Derrick was done with it, I swear it looked like a brand new car. The transformation was insane — I literally did a double take when I saw it. Not only did he fix the hood flawlessly, but the entire car looked showroom-ready. The paint had that deep, glossy shine you only see in commercials, no dust, no weird spots nothing. Even the parts I never think about cleaning were sparkling. Derrick clearly takes pride in his craft. He’s professional, friendly, and you can tell he actually cares about making the customer happy, not just getting the job done. Unbelievable! I’m Still in shock! My car looks brand new! I really needed this mentally. With all the time I spend in my car, I felt like I needed a good, deep cleaning to get me feeling better about wanting to ride in it. Tip Top came through!! I can’t wait to drive my car! Every stain was removed inside. The outside looks like a brand new car. I was going to trade my vehicle in, but I’m keeping it now! Thank you so much! Took my Lexus in for a full detail and buffing. Derrick was really great to work with and gave me a reasonable price. He let me look everything over when I came to pick it up, and was ready to take care of anything I wasn’t satisfied with. Very impressed with the fresh smell on the inside and the shine on the outside! It took a little longer than he originally stated but I wasn’t in a rush so it was no big deal for me.

We have a 2011 Range Rover which had been sitting for two years. We scheduled an appointment with Derrick and ask him to see what he could do to clean it up. We did not rush him no hurry we said. We went to pick up the Rover. At first glance you could see the sparkle from the Rover. My husband said WOW walking around the vehicle. From the top of the roof to the rims it shined. Very disappointed with the service. I came for car detailing at 12:30 PM and was told to wait. It has been more than 4+ hours, and there was no proper update about my car. When I politely went to check the progress, the worker was extremely rude and aggressive. He told me to “sit in the office” and not stand near my own car, and his tone and behavior were disrespectful and unprofessional. As a paying customer, I expect basic respect and clear communication. This experience was frustrating, uncomfortable, and unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on the poor customer service.
