My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new car wash and I feel like we had VASTLY different customer service experiences. The woman at the check in was VERY kind to him, and I felt as though my experience was not the same. She came off snarky/rude to me because I had a few questions about the different washes, and I hadn’t pulled close enough to tap my card. Overall just an uncomfortable experience. I did the basic wash, and despite having recently washed my car, my car was not clean after. I did however appreciate the vacuums, and different vacuum attachments, as well as the cleaning sprays and complimentary towels. I would consider trying again, but would love to see improved customer service and everyone getting equal treatment.

I love this carwash. What more can anyone ask for at a DIY carwash. Clean piles of folded terry cloths and cleaning spray for your inner windows, dashboard and the like, a mat washer, vacuums on each side of the car, and really friendly staff.

My car comes out clean on the outside. I have always found an open vacuum. The vacuum works well and pulls the dirt out of the carpet.

The car wash technology utilized here is great. The management is disconnected from reality. Prices increased 14% (July 2025) from one week to the next. This is egregious and reflects managements intention on driving profits over customer loyalty. Last time that I utilized this establishment. Plenty of car wash options in West Ashley. Give this one a hard pass.

It’s 12. No employees here. Line to the road. Been coming to these for a while. They’re okay. Expensive to have to wash the inside yourself and ONLY have windex. The vacuums are usually broken, clogged or nozzle falls off. The compressed air is not as compressed as it used to be. The automated floor mat cleaner never works. This place hasn’t been here for no more than two years and is halfway functional.

My car was dirtier than normal after parking under a tree so I went out of my way to get a wash. I was surprised that the basic wash was $12 here, I was expecting $8-10. It was an absolute waste of $12. My car doesn’t look any cleaner. It did not remove any of the pollen or bird poop that I went to get a car wash for. I know I only got a basic wash, but I expected it to do better than this. The spinning brushes didn’t even touch my rear windshield. Next time I’ll just stay home and do it myself. Savannah is amazing! Her customer service at the car wash is outstanding — she’s friendly, professional, and goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of. She really makes the whole experience pleasant, and you can tell she genuinely cares. People like her make you want to keep coming back!

Customer service was great, the wash itself was terrible. Paid $25 and both side of the jeep still have mud covering it. Window look a tad better but the scrubber barely hit the front window at all. It barely made a difference at all.

Never really had bad experience. Except an antenna came off of my car. But the car was old and it looked like it was going to come off anyway. The radio still works so what the hell. I don't even know what that antenna was for. Would go again. Heck WILL go again.

Great place to wash your car, I got the unlimited plan. Good start-up deals. Has strong free vacuums after your wash. It also has a floor mat cleaning machine. Washes are fast but they tend to do a great job. Open 7 days a week. I would recommend this company over any other car wash company. Kids also love the washes because of all the lights. I haven't used the mat cleaner yet but I've seen it used and looks to do a great job. I come here almost every other day with the unlimited washes they offer with the monthly plan. It's also staffed very well. And everyone seems to be in a good helping mood.

I left a bad review! To my surprise they fixed everything!!! All my wheels are black as never before. I bought the most expensive wash and it seems they really use a ceramic layer because the scuffs from previous washes on the paint are less visible. -1 star because it took me four days to make the wheels black myself

I’ve been a monthly membership holder at Time to Shine Car Wash for some time now. Overall, the quality of the wash is excellent, and when the vacuums are working properly, they do a great job. The staff is friendly, and the service itself is worth it when everything is running smoothly. That said, there are some ongoing issues that need attention. The car wash is advertised to open at 7:00 AM, but on multiple occasions I’ve had to wait 5–10 minutes past opening for things to get going. I only have a small window of time before work, so these delays make it difficult to get the full benefit of my membership. In addition, several vacuums are often out of service, which forces customers to move from spot to spot just to find one that works. I really enjoy the service when everything is operating as it should, but I do think greater consistency with opening on time and keeping equipment in working order would make the membership much more valuable.

All employees are friendly, courteous, and helpful. My son especially enjoys our Saturday morning visits to the car wash. The only area for improvement would be the vacuum strength, as they could be more powerful.
