Just picked my car up from the $50 wash and wax. They decided to fold down the seats they didn’t want to clean I guess. I’d recommend just cleaning your own car and saving yourself some cash.

I've been disappointed here a few times. See for yourself in these pictures: Water stains from letting the car dry in the sun, wax streaks on the windows and mirrors, one swipe of a rag across the dash.

I Uber drive and customers have left stains in my car and last night someone vomited in my car. I have taken my care to two sets let’s and not one could clean the interior but in And Out thad my interior looking brand new and fresh smelling. It only to Carlos 2 hours. My first time there and I will be going there for interior detailing with all of my cars. Mr. Perry was great and he provided excellent and seamless customer service. Bravo!!!!

The staff is super friendly, for the most part, so I hate to leave a bad review but come on folks. I should have inspected the job before tipping. Next time I'll just spend the time cleaning my own car and save the money. It's unfortunate they've gone downhill. Sorry!

These guys are always good and friendly. The general manager is normally cruising around pointing out spots employees miss so it ends up better than it would’ve been. Unless you’re paying to get it detailed, don’t expect a detailed cleaning. They run your car through the wash, dry it and get the inside and wheels and tires wiped down. The best wash is the one right below the top one. Unless you need a wax you’re just spending extra.

Been going here for decades....today, worst job ever. Didn't clean or vacuum door pockets or console. Interior is a mess. Didn't even wipe off clock/radio face.

Paid like $70-$80 with tip for a car wash and was highly disappointed. There is no attention to detail. I paid for the extra vacuum and there was still animal hair left in my car. The wax on the outside of the car was not done well they did not rub it in well so my whole car was streaked, so had to go home and wipe it down more till it was rubbed in. The windows were done well which is good.

This place is a Charleston institution. It’s been here forever and has many loyal customers. Mr. Perry, the manager rides around and inspects every car and he’s as nice as he can be. If you see something that he didn’t be sure to tell him and he will get it redone. You can browse in the unique gift shop, sit and watch Tv inside, or sit outside and enjoy fresh air. Enjoy that old timey Charleston charm that’s rare these days.

This is the 2nd time I have used In & Out Wash. The first time I was disappointed with the services I received, but decided to give them one more try. Both times I have taken my car in to have the inside and outside cleaned, it was done very poorly. It looked as if no one cleaned the inside. I am better off doing it myself or take it further down the road to have someone else do it. The pictures don't really so it justice due to lighting. You have to zoom in to fully see how nasty my car was left, after it had been "cleaned".

What fabulous service! They got spilled smoothie out of the floor mat and floor of my car, even where it fell down into the well. they pay such attention to detail and will fix anything that you’re not satisfied with which Rarely happens. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a clean car, great service And smiling staff. The owner cares about his customers and you can tell that he cares about his staff and teaching them great customer service and respect for themselves and others. Keep up the great work.

Miss this place! Thanks Perry(The GM) We met today, said he was here since the 60s, may have washed my car in the 70s. Used to get my car washed there when i was stationed at Charlestons Naval base. Great place, great workers still to this day! Best car wash if you're ever in the area.

Took my car there on my day off and asked for the most expensive car wash as I understood my car had not been cleaned in a while. The normal guy who was there did not ask if I wanted just a basic wipe down on the interior or Armor All. The car went through the conveyor to be washed. Even before then I asked for my rubber mats to be washed down because they were extremely dirty. They half vacuumed my car, missed a large amount of dirt on the drivers side, missed debris on the passenger side and did not do anything else. My car was done in less than 10 minutes and my package included a wax on the exterior which included the tires. Upon looking at my car I had to point out several areas where the young lady did not properly blend in the wax properly on the outside of my car. The inside was not wiped at all and I had to make her go back and wipe down with Armor All. Even after that, she did not wipe down my rearview mirror, left streaks over the entire windshield which is now causing me to have difficulty seeing out of and the car is just overall disgusting. Additionally I tipped $10.00 because I thought she took care of all the areas I asked her too. I do not want to hear from the owner they appreciate my feedback and to comeback and visit them soon. I either want another car wash done properly or my money back. Oh and the manager Perry was there also. They looked like they were short staffed which could explain the rush job, but if they would wash cars properly then they could have an increase in business. For some reason, they continue to increase their prices but give less than quality service. I paid almost $60.00 for a car wash and was highly disappointed. The last time I paid this amount, the guy left half of the wax on my from bumper and it looked like I had scratches on my car due to him not blending in the wax. Like how hard is it to blend in wax so it is not seen on a car? And to not leave your entire windshield streaky? Or to vacuum dirt out of a car? Or to properly wash a rubber mat down? Apparently A BIG PROBLEM for In and Out Car wash. I will update when I receive my money back or get another car wash that is to my satisfaction or worth the money I paid.

Came in for a Classic car wash ($27). Everyone was friendly and helpful. I received the greeting from every person I passed, very good customer service. Inside they have a bunch of small antiques, books, greeting cards, car items, etc. They also have a an ice cream freezer and vending machines. Seating area inside was nice and comfortable, great to stay away from the cold. The employees were precise and thorough when cleaning my car. I didn't feel like they rushed at all. They'll clean your trunk if you request it. My mats are also the cleanest I've ever seen them lol.

Unfortunately, not worth the time or money. I can’t believe they handed my car back to me with the hood and driver’s door looking like this, and I can’t believe I let myself leave without checking my car first. I noticed the stains as soon as I got home but didn’t want to drive all the way back again to ask them to properly clean my car. Very disappointed. The gentleman who greeted me when I arrived was very nice, and they did a nice job on the tires, so I gave 2 stars. I got the “no-wax special” so I wasn’t expecting perfection, but expected visible dirt on the outside would have been cleaned off. To be fair, they had a sign advising customers to check their car before leaving and let staff know if they weren’t satisfied, and I definitely should have followed that advice.
