Visited once with my friend. This place is busy on weekends. The pre-soak spray didn't work. The button had no response. Used high-pressure soap instead to do the pre-soak work. My friend used another bay and his pre-soak also didn't work well. I only used 'tire cleaner', 'high-pressure soap' and 'Rinse'. Don't know whether other functions work. I watched a review said 'good place to do bucket wash' and I didn't see 'No Bucket Wash' on the wall. Will definitely visit it next time when it's not busy for a two-bucket wash. Hope the manager let me do this. 3 star is for the defective equipement. Will update review after next visit.

The car washed are fairly good. The problems I see: if you get change there it is in$1 tokens and the shampoo machine was broken. With the latter of the two I had already put a couple dollars in before I noticed the button on the shampoo had wouldn't dispense suds.

This is my go-to DIY car wash near my home. I remember the 30 min wash being 5 but now it's 7 however it does take a card now so that's convenient. As with any public wash, you don't ever use the brush for anything but your wheels. I bring two buckets and wash mits and premium wash soap to get a swirl free wash. They also have vacuums that are quite powerful. Recommended!

Great place to bucket wash your car. It's cheap, and only a couple of bucks to use the power spray. The automated car wash is ok, and they do also offer vacuums and carpet cleaner booths that are also pay per use. It is also nearby low income housing, so I've been asked for 'spare change' a couple of times when using this car wash. I don't mind.

Vacuums worked great, there's even scents if you're into that. Everything is self serve and I appreciate that because I usually don't need my car washed more than I do need to vacuum it. I'm pleased and there's a gas station on the same property how convenient

All the stalls work great or they did for me. Plenty of soap and I had plenty of time to get my car washed and cleaned out. The timer lasted longer then I expected so this place is an A+ for me

No incentive anymore for spending a certain amount. Also, putting in a quarter only gets you 18 seconds. Best value is to spend 4 bucks let it run out and spend another 4. All options on board aren't always operational. The amount I spent to get a good clean has made me switch to local hand-washers.

Spray nozzle holder was broken causing the spray gun to fall out and spray you when you turn it to high pressure rinse. The foam brush head came off when I went to grab the brush. The foam brush line was repaired with tape poorly and the holder for the brush was broken as well. I'm not one to nit pick but when your car wash stalls are falling apart it's disappointing. Not to mention the Air Dryer doesn't work and the machine doesn't continue automatically and the car reader doesn't end when you press the stop button. Not a great experience...

Decent place! Only small complaint is that I could not find a card machine to get cash out. I had to go to CVS next door to get cash out for quarters. Other than that, car wash plus vacuuming all came out to about $7 👍

Went to this car wash for the first time and at first my credit card was charged $10.00, but soon after that it was changed to the $4.00 that it suppose to be on my bank statement.

Add most of the car washes around here that one is way too expensive. I went there at night to rinse my car off because of all the pollen in the air. The trash cans were overflowing I could barely put any of the thing in it and the wax was not working the way it should so I have to waste time with his money at a car wash. Also it was not clear why you have to get tokens , I got $10 worth of tokens because the car wash instructions makes you think you need them to start the car wash but you don't. As far as I can tell the instructions are just not clear for first-time person like me using this car wash. I am currently stuck with $10 worth of tokens ,for the price the car wash should be kept up much better.

BEST Car Wash Around! I came here today on my way to somewhere else. I quickly made a U-turn when I saw I'd passed a very clean self service car wash. This place is immaculate! Even better, the machinery (soap, water pressure, wand and instructions) worked perfectly. I was so impressed at how clean my vehicle had gotten that I spoke to 3 guys working there (owners likely) and told them, "this is THE BEST car wash I've been to in a very long time!" This car wash got the sticky pollen off that others couldn't! As I was spraying my rims I noticed a yellow film peeling off. I looked closer and realized it was a thin layer of gummy pollen that had built up. High pressure wand here whisked it away like it was easy. I asked the owner if they had other locations in Virginia Beach and he happily texted me the address. I'll definitely use and recommend this Excellent Car Wash again. Great, helpful people. Great service at a ridiculously low bargain. So glad that I found Tidewater Car Wash. This place easily earns 5 Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
