I just wanted to share my experience with a recent return. I ordered a pool online I set it up come to find out it had some pinhole leaks in it it took a lot of hard work to set it up and I was super frustrated but when I called the local Leominster Home Depot I spoke with Denise and she was incredible she made what was a very difficult situation easy for me. She was very thorough and very pleasant to speak with. We need more people like her out there!

Home depot is the amusement park for creators. You can build anything, refurbishing products available and anything you can imagine to build. The employees always helpful.

If you need advice or assistance, you need to search for someone, and the advice is often just an opinion. Also, watch out for the loud pressure sales approach to obtaining a credit card.

We bought an 18 volt Ryobi fan and HP battery today and at check out Sarah was very helpful! She told us about the discount if we opened a HD credit acct and patiently and skillfully helped us through the process. Another associate kindly helped us with the locked bin for the battery and another one helped us when the price registered incorrectly on the battery. With their help we saved over $100 today and we are very pleased with the Ryobi fan and battery! We highly recommend this HD store! If we lived in this area this would be our “go to” store for tools, hardware and lumber needs!

Easy returns when needed - much better than online stores. Also, HD has bins near the entrance to recycle rechargeable batteries, compact fluorescent bulbs, and plastic bags.

There are Flock surveillance cameras at the entrances to the parking lot. Be prepared to have your license plate and picture tracked and shared with sketchy law enforcement groups. I won't shop here any more.

They have this guy at self checkout, i think his name is Kyle, he smells really bad and isn’t very professional at all. I have come in a few times and he is always flirting with me or other women, as i have witnessed him saying inappropriate comments to coworkers who seem to not like what he says. Sad this company allows such people to work for them. Everyone else is very nice and very helpful just wish they would get rid of the weirdo its clearly unacceptable and very unprofessional. Lets also not forget them trying to force you to get a card even after you say no.

These days with so many choices of where to get your hardware it's hard to decide. I have been enjoying the Home Depot app a little bit more then the competitors, helping me find exactly what I need in the store quickly. most of the staff is very helpful and tries hard to get you what you need. some I've met just point and run the other direction when I ask a question, but you can't expect perfection. I do shop it several different Home depot's on a regular basis but always checking out the app before I go to make sure they have what I need in stock. That's worked out very well so I highly encourage you to download their app.

Tough one. $5,000 for two doors. Took several attempts for the HD contractor to get accurate measurements, took several attempts for HD to order the doors due to questions about the measurements. Turns out I was told they were standard doors. We added a storm door and after the doors were finally installed, we started getting water in between the doors and inside the house. The contractor came out and stated that they were going to caulk. This happened several times. More and more caulking which looks embarrassing from a license contractor and certainly as a home owner standpoint. HD sent their contractors project manager, who pointed the blame at our siding... which again is very odd as we didn't have any issues with water or a hot mess on the exterior of the house prior to the installation. We have contacted HD as they are only offering a $500 discount!? We were told that we would continue to have to caulk the entry way moving forward by the dept manager and they have never had a single problem like this in the "14 years" she has been at HD. LOL. I'm sure. We have zero problems paying contractors to provide goods and services, but fully expect professionalism and that the contractors finish product would be something they would be happy with on their own house. As it stands, $5,000 for two doors, and a soupy looking mess of caulking and doors that are hard to close and have had issues from day 1.

Typical Home Depot. At times, their aisle space is a little lacking, but all in all, it's a well stocked and organized store. They have pretty much anything you could be looking for.

I feel like a kid in a candy store when shopping at Home Depot. You just want to buy everything and do a million DIY projects! The staff is very helpful and there is almost always someone there to help. I had a great experience when purchasing custom made blinds for our kitchen. He walked me through each step and ordered everything for me without a hitch the blinds were delivered shortly after and they are perfect!(I’ve included pics, Venetia, 1.5” vinyl) we’ve had them now for about a year and I love them! Easy to clean, look great, block out heat. Eventually we will get them for each room, pricey though, be ready to shell out about $100 a piece for custom fit. The reason for my 4 star rating and not 5 is because of the lack of variety in products offered, especially in the outdoor gardening center. Lowe’s beats them by a long shot in this department, but that’s for a different review! They also seem to be out of stock of a good amount of items whenever I go. (Although lately I believe it’s due to the pandemic and people doing more projects)

Customer service needs help! 3 or 4 people standing around talking at check out on a saturday night "not a busy store". I asked for help to find item that wasn't on the floor, they needed a lift to get it. The first 5 mins they seemed to try to look for someone to get it at least 2 people, then after waiting 20 more mins those 2 people were on other side of store not to help me again. I finally went to check out to ask for help again, when the employee felt like ending the personal conversation with a customer after i waited another few mins for help, i was about to walk out without the item at this point as i waited too long. Seems employee's just do want to help as much compared to many other homedepot stores iv been to. I know they would rather be elsewhere on a Saturday night but no excuse for poor service.

Bought laminate tongue and groove flooring to be installed by a contractor whom works for ACS, a third party company which Home Depot subs their projects out to. Upon the day of installation I took the day off from work to monitor my house while the contractors were to install the floor. They never showed up between 9-10am as scheduled so I called to find out the status, ACS claimed the contractor didn’t not have sufficient help to install the floor so we agreed to bring them in the following day. Two Ecuadorian gentleman showed up (Edgar) and associate and as they entered my kitchen (Edgar) rolled his eyes in disgust as he recognized the type of flooring (pergo outlast) laminate. He started speaking to his partner in his respected language expecting that I would not be able to understand what he was saying. His message was that he didn’t want to mess with the laminate because it was difficult to work with as compared to vinyl because it was not as forgiving as vinyl.. immediately he started pointing the finger at the minute imperfections and stated that the uneven contours were outside of the 3/8” tolerance range for completing the task. Then decided to grab a level and without the recommended chips to ensure an accurate measurement of the tolerance discrepancies he simply raised the level with his hand on one end of the floor and took a picture of the site glass which indicated more than 3/4” out of range. He told me that this will not work because the laminate floor will shift and slide because of the imperfections. He recommended for me to return the laminate and purchase vinyl flooring so the floating floor would not shift?!? From my understanding it doesn’t matter if a vinyl or laminate floor is installed weather or not the shift would ensue. If the existing flooring is uneven it doesn’t make a difference what material is being installed, the bottom line is the floor would shift regardless if it was vinyl or laminate. This guy Edgar didn’t have the skills to complete the job with the materials we purchased from Home Depot. After the suspect visit I spoke to a representative from ACS whom claimed that the contractor (Edgar) reported that the reason why the install was not completed was because the floor was to spongy l?!? With all the uncertainty and lack of professional expertise I experienced I decided to return all materials and installation fee.. Home Depot offered me a $40 discount for future purchases due to my less than ideal experience. Long story short the floor will be installed next week with no problems attached by a reputable competitor.Yes Home Depot has some decent stuff but the companies they affiliate themselves with are less than desirable. Beware of subcontractors hired by Home Depot whom lie and pretend the problem is something other than incompetency!!!

I bought a ryobi generator 3 months ago it’s been used 3-5 times. Covered over when not in use. It won’t work. I brought into this place where I bought it originally with the receipt. Can someone explain to me how the 3 year warranty has a 90 day return policy but the generator it’s self has a 30 day return policy? The customer service lady was decent she tried everything she could. But the assistant manager was rude. Why do these places keep selling junk products. I wouldn’t recommend going to this place.

I had a great experience at Leominster The Home Depot thanks to Don! He was absolutely amazing, super helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and knew exactly what parts and pieces I needed for my plumbing project. He also walked me through what to get to fix a crack in my basement, which was a big help. On top of all that, he was incredibly friendly and patient.
