I’m not sure what has happened to this particular Home Depot location, but the experience has noticeably declined since my last visit. A few days ago, I went in to purchase a weed trimmer, only to find that, unlike any other store in the area, all of the equipment was locked behind cages. So to get assistance, you’re required to scan a QR code to notify a sales associate. I scanned the code and waited about 10 minutes, but no one came. I eventually walked to the front of the store and asked an employee near the checkout lanes for help. Their response: “I’ll TRY to get someone for you.” I returned to the trimmer section and waited another 5 to 10 minutes. Still, no one showed up, so I left. I went to Menards instead. Within two minutes of entering, a sales associate approached me and asked if I needed assistance. They showed me the available trimmers (none of which were locked up) and I ended up spending several hundred dollars there, money I had intended to spend at Home Depot.

Home Depot is a great store. as I walked in several employees were very helpful getting me a flatbed cart for everything I needed to buy. However, later in my visit I was looking for help in the ceiling fans dept. and there was no one to be found.

Impossible to find help. Waited for 10 minutes at the wire cutting station before finding someone in the back who said he would send someone to help. Waited another 10 minutes and no one showed up so I left. As I was leaving I heard them calling for an all employee meeting. While the store was open. And there was steady no one around to help customers. Do better.

Today while shopping we encountered no less than 10 associates. From the associate getting carts from the parking lot to the employees who greeted us, to the individual experts of their own sections - Every single one offered help. Every person had the knowledge to know exactly where the products we needed were. They all seemed happy to be there. They helped us problem solve. The overall theme of the team working there was friendly and competent. Great job today!!

I've been trying for 3 months to pay my home depot credit card online and it'll never send me a verification code. I call the customer service and have to spend a long time just to get a human. Their robots don't even understand what I'm saying when I ask for a live representative. Then I finally got real people on the phone twice today and they are cutting out of signal or drop the call in the middle 🤷🏻♀️

Buyer beware if you are wanting to use their service to get a water heater installed. They promise it will be done within a day or two, then when it comes to actually scheduling, they are two weeks out.

Plenty of parking, friendly staff, everything was relatively easy to find. I was there for mosquito solutions for a deck and garage. They had several options, but not the electric tennis racquet, even though the website claims to have them. My husband was really annoyed they charge for bags. Please click 👍 if this was helpful.

I would NEVER patronize a business who has started Christmas advertising on television, on October 9th, 2025. We all know the almighty dollar is God in this country but can we at least try and keep it the sacred tradition it was meant to be? No Home Depot.

I have been a loyal and mostly happy customer of Home Depot for years. Today I had the worst experience that I have ever had at the Duluth Minnesota location. They had one of isles closed because they were using a fork lift which is fine. I had waited for like 10 minutes or so for it to open and it was still closed. I walked to the other end of the isle and what I needed was right at the end 3 inches over the gate. We wanted two tarps, my wife had reached over and grabbed one tarp then the employee stepped in and said no. We asked if he would reach 3 inches over the gate to grab one more he said no you will have to wait. So we said we’re going somewhere else and his attitude was more like good bye go somewhere else and don’t care. I understand there are rules but this was stupid and didn’t put anyone at risk and to make another customer stand there for more then 10 minutes to get something 3 inches into the isle is tupid and inconsiderate. So the employee stood his ground and I shopped at another store and will possibly cancel my Home Depot credit card and get there competitors card instead.

Ordered an expensive tool set to be delivered. Order shipping detail told me they would deliver directly and have us sign for the delivery. Instead, they dropped my expensive tool set off on a weekend, with no one around, no signature, with the package sitting outside my door for anyone to take. It was a miracle I received it. I will not be ordered for delivery anymore. Adhere to your own terms and promises or continue to generate 1-star reviews.

I called and talked to the head of the tools department and I was told they had a m12 3/8 sub compact. When I get there 10 to 15 minutes later I was told they didn’t have them and never did. They said they can’t do anything for me. I won’t be upset if I wasn’t told they had them by the head of the tools department. Long story short of why I’m give them one star is bc there tool department doesn’t know anything about what they sell or have.

Call Sam Chef Boyardee the way he sauced up the excellent customer service. As a new homeowner, I have no idea what I am doing, and for sanding down my inside walls being the first project I have to do, he made it super easy with the recommendation of all of the tools. Bob's also the man!

I can't believe how much attitude I caught just because I wanted help getting wood cut at the store. I was made to feel like an idiot and an inconvenience, which was shocking given how I have always enjoyed shopping here but I doubt I'll be using the cutting service anymore since it's an issue. Be aware of this before asking for help at the cut station. Otherwise the store is running well, its clean, and most of the staff is friendly and will gladly help you.
