I wish i could say i had a good experience but, I didn’t. I was doing all my shopping until it came to the apparel section where i asked this employee Jill where these black pants were at and she said she was going to the back but told me there were none and mislead me into thinking there was and wasted 10 minutes of my time. Additionally, her tone to me seemed like she was already bothered by the request i initially made.

When I shop, I so very much appreciate a clean store because it makes me feel good and it is pleasing to my eyes! Target is always clean though (sometimes because of messy shoppers ) it is not always tidy, but that is a given these days no matter where I shop unfortunately. Not everyone was brought up to leave the area where they were looking for something more tidy than when they arrived! This is so important to me because I work in a retail shop and it is often quite messy, constantly needing to be tidied up because folks don’t care how neat they are when they shop, when the employees will take care of it later! Thank you so much for all the effort you make to have your store be so clean and tidy! I appreciate it so much!

Last time I visited this location was to buy toys for a charity gift drive. At the self checkout I was clearly visible to the greeter, but on my way out he insisted on going through my bags and verifying everything against my receipt. Target: I am not a criminal and no one else treats me like one! I don't think I'll be back any time soon Update: this review is two years old. Still have not been back

Horrible customer service. Cashier was kind and handled my problem. However, the manager was flippant and did not want to address my issue. I picked up an inside pickup order and was missing an item. I understand that items are seasonal and may not be available. But don't charge the customer for the item and not fill it. It's that simple.

Male employee with blue hair at this location is extremely rude and disrespectful when asking for customer service at self checkout, unprofessional and just plain distasteful. Will not come back or recommend this target again.

Very disappointed with Target’s lack of enforcement on their “no pets” policy. I just witnessed someone walking their dog inside the store, letting it sniff around near food products and other items. As someone with a severe dog allergy, this is not just uncomfortable—it’s a health risk. Stores that sell food should be held to higher hygiene standards. Simply placing a sticker on the door is not enough if it’s not going to be enforced. Target needs to take this seriously and ensure that only service animals are allowed inside, as per the policy. This is about basic cleanliness, customer safety, and respecting the needs of all shoppers

Terrible store place has gone down hill falling apart prices are ridiculously high the things that are on sale when you get to check out they come up a way higher price or not on sale like stated on circle add or tag under item.christmas candy and items never restocked rude employees been shopping my target South Street Lafayette ind for 7 years and the past year have just been horrible will definitely be shopping else where

This place has gone way down hill. It's so sad, it used to be once of the nicest Targets I'd been too. Now, you can never find an employee when you need help. When you've searched for 25 minutes, then found one, they are zero help and have an attitude. Don't even attempt any special services like the bakery. They can't take a simple cake order. I could fill out the form myself, but apparently it's a very specialized task that only like one employee can do, who is literally never there. Crazy work, Target! Oh and also- avoid the pharmacy here. They are super slow and incompetent.

Never enough staff. Product is not as well stocked and selection has gone down. Used to be pretty good. Now there is always a line for customer service and the selection seems to have been reduced in the holiday section. Came in for the mini lights - the ones for tiny trees - and they were gone. Completely gone. I remember being so impressed like 5-6 years ago and it’s just gone downhill. I will say the gentleman, Justin, working the customer service counter was exceptional. He was very kind, quick, polite, witty, and on it! Update: a week early February, 2025. Still struggling with staffing especially at night. It was not very busy and yet many of the outside corrals were overflowing such that you had to drive around the carts. They also really struggle keeping the baskets stocked at the entrances. This had been an issue for a long time now, day or night. I know work is hard and sucks, but those of us also working hard, sucky jobs, appreciate when you do your job so we don’t have to work even harder, especially after a long day of work for the customers. Please do better.

My wife and in for to look for particular gluten free pasta dishes that we’ve had trouble finding at other grocery stores. We were impress with the variety of items offered at Target grocery and how well stocked the shelves were. We found some gluten free pasta items and were happy with the checkout process. The self checkout was a little too busy so we went through the staffed checkout line and the cashier was quick and courteous. Overall the store seemed clean and well organized.
