It sucks that you pay for things and don’t get what you paid for. We used this car wash and the person barely even touched my car. Once the car wash was finished it still looked dirty, I had to come home and wash it myself. A little bit of water and some dish soap cleaned it way better than what they did.

First off, the actual wash is fine. Same as just about any other car wash in town. But there's a lot of problems between here and there. First off, they really botched the layout. The corners are too tight, and a normal pickup truck has problems making the turns to get in, and any car of any size has trouble pulling out once you get washed. You have to make a 3-point turn to exit the carwash and vacuum area. But even if that wasn't a problem, there's the issue that, once you get in line, you're locked in. There's no way out. And if it's taking a long time, you're stuck. What majorly exacerbates this problem is they have a guy who stands at the front of the line giving a sales pitch to get you to buy their carwash plan. And while he's talking, the line stacks up, and you're pinned in. You don't see it when you first pull up, but by the time you have visibility, it's too late. Occasionally he takes a break and cars start flowing through the way, but they stack them so closely together, you feel like you're about to be rear ended when you leave. My car didn't like me switching to drive while I was rolling, and wanted me to put it in park first. But the car behind me was so close, I was afraid to do so. Thankfully I was able to do it and get it back in drive, but they were exceptionally close, and I'm sure they thought I was crazy. The vacuum station is, again, par for the course on car washes around town. But again, very tight quarters and hard to maneuver into a spot. I drive past this wash every day and often want a wash, but I just can't put myself through all of that to get one. I just hold off and hit up Splash across town. Much better experience and cheaper to boot. Speaking of price, I forgot to mention: the cheapest wash is currently $11, but when you pull up, you have to navigate through a bunch of menus to find it because it looks like the cheapest wash is $24 if you can't find your way through the confusing menus to get to the regular pricing. Overall, the wash is fine, but the experience is abismal. Probably better off going elsewhere.

I got a car wash membership at Take five a few months ago, and I’ve had good experiences over all but today the gentlemen at the bay went above and beyond. I had some mud on the sides of my car. They made sure it was thoroughly sprayed before going in the bay. Gary and Thomas were very nice, had a great attitude and did their job well. I highly recommend Take 5 on Cantrell for your car wash needs. The place is always clean and they have the supplies you need to detail your car. Thank you, Gary and Thomas !

Let me start with I’ve never been a fan of car washes. I use to have a membership with zips and they completely ruined the experience for me, but after the weather we’ve had recently I figured I give take 5 car wash on a Cantrell a chance and it was fabulous! Paisley was so genuine about my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable through the whole process. My car is now cleaner than it’s ever been and I couldn’t be more grateful. I will definitely be back to this location!
