This place is fantastic. It’s well-maintained, my car is always spotless after I go through the wash, they have vacuums and towels, and basically anything else I could need to clean my car. The biggest bonus is that all of the employees are friendly and helpful, especially Michael. I wish they had a location a little farther north!

Today was my first time visiting the Oceanside location. Their support of Veterans brought me out today and I’m glad that I tried them out. Great car wash. Great facility. I plan on becoming a Club Member soon. No matter which monthly tier option you choose, you can’t beat unlimited washes. Cheers, y’all. 💦

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Mustang owners, beware—DO NOT take your car to Soapy Joe’s! I recently moved to the area and signed up for a membership since it was conveniently on my way to work. Big mistake. Not long after, I noticed clear swirling damage on the hood of my car. I filed a complaint, expecting them to take accountability and help cover the cost of repairs. Instead, I was met with weeks of waiting, only to be told that “after their investigation” (which conveniently involved video footage they refused to share with me), it wasn’t their fault. Now, I’m stuck paying out of pocket for the damage they caused to both side of car hood and a chip at the side door, on top of the two months of subpar washes that likely contributed to the problem. Soapy Joe’s is a joke—save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Always 5 star here! I go 20 minutes out of my way to go to this specific Soapy's (over the one by my house) because not only is it the best (always stocked, good vacuums, bathroom accessible), surrounded by great fast food, but the service and employees are super friendly helpful and professional! Been going here for almost 6 or 7 years now. I hopped on the new $1 deal this month (if you haven't you are dumb) and *JULIA* and *JOSE(?)* helped me out tonight and they were super patient with me and really great! Great employees like them are what makes Soapy the best over its competitors 😊😊😊

We went for the one-time Super wash ($20). It was good but not powerful enough to remove the salt and sand from parking near the beach in Oceanside. We did like that they gave us a deodorizer and free 5-minute vacuum plus clean towels to wipe down the car. I would come back.

Will NEVER go back or recommend Soapy Joe’s! This company has absolutely no accountability. I went in for a wash like I’ve done before, with my car in perfect condition aside from a small, sealed chip low on the passenger side of the windshield. After going through the wash, I pulled over to dry my car—only to find a massive crack on the driver’s side of the windshield. Clearly, something from their equipment (yes, those sponge arms that hit the car) struck the glass. But when I reported it, Soapy Joe’s claimed their surveillance (which customers can’t even view) showed no wrongdoing and blamed it on the small chip on the opposite side of the windshield. Total cop-out. They’re quick to take your money, but take zero responsibility for damage that happens on their property. It’s a “use at your own risk” business—and that risk is 100% yours. I’ve officially cancelled my membership, and I urge others to do the same. Stay away from Soapy Joe’s unless you’re OK with paying for damage they won’t cover! 😡
