Dear Soapy Joe’s Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your car wash. Despite having an active membership with a recurring monthly payment of $25, I was incorrectly charged $13 during my visit 2025-09-19 at 5 pm. Additionally, the receipt displayed a vehicle listed as a Toyota Camry, which I have never owned or used at your location. This situation is very concerning as it suggests both billing and account tracking errors. I kindly request that you review this matter, correct the improper charge, and ensure that my membership benefits are applied properly moving forward. Soapy Joe, this young woman is quite the professional & has an understanding & focus on customer service that typically only upper management recognize the importance of. Went in last night after getting off a long day of work. Decided to stop here cause the grime on my car was getting too thick. Pulled up in a cranky mood, then came across Malik. Malik's energy changed my cranky mood to a non cranky mood. The process of being in and out of this place in a timely manner is a wonderful feeling.

My wife asked me to wash her sisters vehicle so I drove it to the La Mesa Soapy Joes at Jackson and Center Drive. I paid for their best, the "Magic Joe". Perhaps I will need to rethink using Soapy Joes and finally cancel my membership. The car had been sitting in our La Mesa Driveway for two weeks while they were vacationing. It had multiple bird droppings that were yellow and small but they were scattered throughout the exterior of the car. After being mesmerized by the Willie Wonka like colors of the foam covering the windows (Very Cool), The car came out the other side with small yellow bird droppings covering the vehicle. The washing process cleaned nothing....NOTHING. I was forced you use there lightly dampened rags to clean each dropping manually. The same lever of cleanliness would have been achieved by letting the car sit out on a rainy day. I know I am not the only one experiencing this and maybe it would change if others share there "What Clean" stories in this forum. May review comment on the friendliness of the staff which I agree. If I was going to Soapy Joes to make friends, they would get 5 stars but oddly enough, I just wanted my car clean. SAD SAD SAD

Paying $25 for a car wash and then immediately having to wash your car at home because there's a bunch of spots still on the car is a deal breaker. Got talked into the "magic Joe" and never received it. Cars are rushed through so there isn't enough time for a good wash, rinse and dry. Total rip-off. Having the car washed was supposed to save time, not add extra work. If you like throwing money away...

This location has to be the worst. Multiple staff members are just hanging around and not directing traffic. Often, I received the wrong wash. (Even as a member.) And when you do, they just say pull around like you have all day to wait in another long line. I’m not sure if they’re mixing the soap properly or rinsing with the proper water, but there are always massive white streaks all over the car. They need to hire people who take personal pride in their work. Leadership should definitely do a few surprise visit to this location.

One entire side of their drying fans do not even work, which wouldn't be an issue if they legitimately used Spotless water, but they DO NOT. They are actively lying and are using hard water. I am attaching photos as proof. Should be considered a scam if they aren't providing the exact service we are paying for. I will not be returning to this location again. Unless you like having water marks all over your paint and windows, I would avoid this location at all costs. What a waste of time it truly is to have to wash your car again after taking it to a "SPOTLESS RINSE" Carwash. 👎🏽
