Skippy's hand wash is phenomal! My baby didn't have a wash in 3 months and 20 minutes later I had a brand new car. Peter (the owner) and his crew wash your car until they get the job done. I have never seen a crew wash a car so passionately and precise.(yes I am serious) And if you have any problems with your car talk to Peter and he will take care of you. Peter is one of the nicest business owners I have ever met, as we talked about how he had been in business for 42 years and cares about quality and not quantity.

Been here twice with the same car. On first visit, pretty sure they scratched my display screen. Watch them carefully and you'll see that they are indiscriminate with which wash/dry towels are used for what parts of the car. Common sense = don't use a rag that you wipe on the exterior of the car on the interior because it can collect didt that can scratch the interior. Second visit - I asked them to wash out some minor blemishes (nothing heavy) on my back seat, but they missed a spot and left the seat soaking wet. They didn't attempt to dry it at all. The cleaners are generally not careful and are inattentive. They'll also ask you to pay cash. I won't be returning.

Great if you have the time. Line takes too long. Over 45min for 5 cars in front of me. This whole thing of waiting on a long line for just a car wash is silly. They open at 7:30 am and I get there before then an still there is a line already formed. They do a good job. I just wish I could shoot in and out of there faster.

Very disappointed with today’s experience at Skippy’s. While pulling into the bin, one employee is directing me in one direction, while the other is directing me in another direction. Then they start yelling at me and treated me with disrespect. I’ve used this car wash for 20 years and will never return again.

Had about a dozen tree sap spots on the hood and roof of our Mazda CX-5. I Used alcohol to take the sap off, but it left a circle of dull spot around each spot that’s very obvious under the sun. Went to a handful of deferent detailing places to see if there’s someway they can buff and polish them off, but all said they couldn’t do it. One place recommended I give Skippy’s a try. Long story short, Frank was awesome, super friendly and professional. He didn’t make any promises, but said he’ll give it a try. If it doesn’t work he’ll just charge me the regular exterior/interior detailing price. He and his team did their magic, after a few hours he texted and said it’s all done. I couldn’t believe my eyes. The spots are all gone completely. Whole car looks brand new inside out. Thank you!!!

Gotta start out by saying that my experiences here are typically good, and 3 stars are given accordingly. My visit yesterday was not so great. Keep in mind this wash costs $18. 1. Water marks all over the car. Did not dry on time, Dirty towels used, lack of attention. 2. Wheels not cleaned well. My wheels are super easy to clean. They just didn't go over it well enough. I was able to wipe it off with a towel without force. Pictured. 3. ALL OF MY WINDOWS came out with swirl marks on both inside and outside. They were worse than when I drove in. Again, dirty towels, not enough attention. I had to clean ALL WINDOWS all over again, and all it took was a little Windex and 2 minutes. My car has been cleaned better by drive thru washes that cost less than half of what these guys charge... What a shame. I thought the price increases were to retain level of service throughout the changing market, but quality seems to have taken a hit over the past years. Guess I'll be looking elsewhere.

I've tried all the hand car wash shops in the vicinity because and I think this one was the most thoughtful/careful and best value so far. I will certainly come back here. it's small and doesn't have the bandwidth and variety of some other shops but they definitely earned my business. thumbs up

I've been coming here for years and I am always pleased with their work! The staff is friendly, and the process is quick. Even if you're waiting in line, it usually moves fairly quickly. Highly recommend this hand car wash!

I used to live in this area and always get my car washed at Skippy’s because they were so good!!!!!! Sadly, I have moved 45 minutes away from Fort Lee. However, on Friday, my day off, I decided to go Skippy’s for that same amazing car wash experience. I waited another 30 minutes in line to get my car washed. After the car wash, I paid $40 for the over size truck, and with no hesitation $20 tip without assessing the entirety of the truck but the picture shows the bed of the truck was not done. Idk if I was suppose to request to get the bed washed out. Even my interior was not thoroughly wiped down or vacuum. Definitely it was better than the condition I brought it in. But not the same as before. Also I saw a handful of the same people from 8 years when I used to go there often. Sad. I get it, it was a busy Friday afternoon. Literally every inch I got closer to the car wash, another car was lined up. But I am quite disappointed. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Horrible service the employees are more than rude. And then my brand new car came back with many scratches all throughout it. I’m currently contacting my lawyer to see my options. I would severely advise to stay away from this place. It’s a waste of money at this point another bill in my life.

I would give it a minus ten stars but it doesn’t exist it was way overpriced! The employee drying the car and asking for money was completely unprofessional, arrogant and vehicle was left with lots of white marks on windows, right side of vehicle was hardly dried.

One of their elderly employees who is bald threatened to throw me out of my car and assault me while I was waiting in line for their services. The line was so long I had to double park. I was aware I needed to move and asked where should I go to keep my place in line. That’s when he turned to a bystander and replied “this is why people get thrown out of their cars.” Ive been going there for almost 2 years and will never go back and tell everyone to avoid this place at all costs as you might be assaulted for your patronage.

Couldn’t be happier with my first visit, I had not cleaned the inside of my car for a year and the end result looked good as new, all for $25 and also getting the exterior cleaned feels like an incredible deal! They even flagged me down after I left because I forgot a couple items I left in the car in the waiting area. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, and with the low price tag, tipping at least $10 feels right, you can tip with cash or on the credit card terminal.

Very unprofessional and their machines left marks on my vehicle. When I asked if someone could take a look at the damages, they insisted that it wasn’t their fault. End up paying $300+ out of pocket for an already overpriced car wash. Will never go again and wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last car wash available

Absolutely the best hand car wash in nj! All comes down to the little things. Staff treat your car with respect. Close the trunk very slowly and carefully operate it when driving it in and out of the bay. I only take my car here with full trust in the team.
