Sammy’s is the best!!! When I got my car back, it looked brand new. Every inch was perfect, and on top of it, the service was affordable and on time. The owner is very professional and also hands on. She inspects every car personally to make sure it looks like a work of art after a day at the auto spa.

I have been a 3 year customer of Sammy's but I will never come back. Appointments mean nothing and when you ask about them they are extremely rude and boldface lie to you about what they said. I will never come back here...if I could leave negative stars, I would. My appointment was at 2:00. It is now 4:45 and my car has yet to be washed and they are still working on the inside. I've been called a liar and told their lack of ability to detail a car is my fault. So I went to get into my car, and there was a huge grease stain on my driver's seat. They had to clean that up. They had to redo the trim on my car because they didn't get it clean, and it took over 15 minutes for them to answer if they waxed my car or not. The and is, they put on a spray wax - which to me is not the same as "hand waxing" my car. I retrieved my own car mats from the sidewalk where they were laid out to dry and when I stopped to get gas on the way home, I noticed that they didn't pop the gas door to clean inside there.

My car is super clean and it was super dirty! Staff was polite and patient even though there was a mix up with my appointment time, car was done earlier than quoted. Don't walk into a small business expecting to pay bottom of the barrel prices and still receive the quality of a personal job, and if you have to wait it's probably going to be worth it! As long as you can handle those things you will not be disappointed.

UNRELIABLE I went out of my way to patronize this place. I waited in a line for over 45 mins only to find the owner decided not to open on a Saturday morning. I returned a week or so later. The wash was pretty nice, but they upcharged $5 from what’s posted right on the back on the building—false advertisement much? So, the least expensive wash is $25–not including anything aside from the wash. You pull your car into the hub and get out while they wash. There’s a spacious waiting area that’s nice and air conditioned. You then pay inside the waiting area and return to your car to leave. They take credit card. The staff is nice. The wash was good. I tried again to get a car wash. I got there around 5 PM, an hour before closing, and was told they weren’t washing anymore cars. This place is a joke. But it seems they’re the only hand wash place in town. Sad. I’m coming to terms that I’m just going to have to wash my own car at home. Part of running a business sufficiently is sticking to business hours. Horrible.

They do a great job! I will continue to bring my car back. My only suggestion would be a more comfortable waiting area where the music from the shop isn't blasting. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place.

Almost $50 and 2 WHOLE hours later, I left partially satisfied. I arrived a few minutes before their opening time (according) to Google and there were already 3 cars ahead of me. The guy taking requested services told me it would take “no more than an hour”. I was prepared for a wait, and desperately needed a good hand wash while in town and there aren’t many options. I chose Sammy’s thinking they were same from back in the day when I used to bring my Chevys in. They aren’t! They did my Benz no justice. And tried to charge me another $20 per mat just to shampoo. GTFOH! I live in Chicago and the service I received here is equal to $22 in the city. I won’t be back!

Was able to get same day appointment only here as other places you had to call a day in advance. Dropped my car off at noon and picked it up at 430. Overall good job for the price. If I am comparing it with how the car was before then great job. If my comparison is other competitors, I have no clue. I am just happy I have clean car and was able to have same day appointment so they get 5 stars for me

I am new to the area and only opt for a hand wash for my car and this place did not disappoint!!! When I say they got my baby all the way together (her name is Lexi Liquid Luxe 😁) and she is shining bright like a diamond! Not to mention it was two beautiful queens 👑 who were doing the services! If you're looking for an immaculate hand wash/detail this is your place! 10 outta 10 recommend! Beautiful black owned business too btw 😀 I'll be back for sure!

I brought my car in for interior detailing and I was very impressed with the result. The staff was kind and professional and the pricing was very fair compared to other services in the area. I have an auction car that had stains on the seats from the previous owner. The last place that I got my interior detailed was not able to get the stains out but Sammy's got it done. My car looks and smells brand new! 100% recommended their detailing service.

This is by far the best car wash I've had in the City. They hand wash the whole car and really take their time! Hopie the owner runs the place and helps with all the washes herself! Would recommend this place to anyone!

Had been coming here for years until today, will never go back. Showed up at 8:45 to get in line early, was first person in line. Front door, Apple Maps, website and google all say they open at 9:00 am on Saturday. No one showed up until 10:00, no big deal things happen, employee tells me I should’ve checked google for the correct hours (I did) and then says they have 2 appointments ahead of me and I’ll have to wait. Lost a customer for life as well as all the referrals I’ve sent.

They are definitely not Sammy! I guess the 2005 wasn't nice enough to get the type of service that anyone else would get who pays that same $183 to get a full detail inside and out. She was very rude, raising her voice and trying to place blame on my daughter as to why they could not complete the car on Friday, saying that my daughter waited until 6:30 to call about her car. She dropped it off at 10:30 a.m. and by 6:30 p.m. they were not done. They eventually owned up to the fact that they made the mistake inside their business communicating with each other and decided that the car was not going to be cleaned until the following Monday. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! Mat's still dirty, missed places cleaning the seats! DAYM! Trying to support a black/brown owned business and this is what we get! SMDH!

Be kind to your car and use Sammy's Auto spa. This hand car wash is affordable, awesome and the crew is very professional. If I call ahead or made an appointment on-line then I'm in and out in 15 minutes. Hand car washes the way to go for expensive cars. I just wish they would open late.
