Making my way from CA to TX and 500+ miles of bugs blasted off for under $3. Asides from the strong water blast, the owner/operator seemed like genuinely nice guy, but more importantly, i noticed he was talking to patrons and what seemed like former employee with respect. 👍🏽

I went to Rapid Spray car wash this past weekend. It was my first time ever going to a self-service car wash shop. The owner, Ruben, showed me everything, and helped me clean my car, among other favors and kindness that he gave to me that day. Ruben proves that kindness and selflessness still exists. Not just "smile when you walk by" kindness (that is nice too), but real warm-heartedness that has become priceless these days. Oh and Ruben's very humorous too!

Great place to wash and vacuum my car! Very well lit at all hours and tons of space. Machines take only quarters. If you have no quarters you can use the bill breaker up front to break $1's and $5's

I pulled into Rapid Spray Car Wash around 5PM, and no one was there. Mostly I just needed to wash a piece of bird poop off my windshield. As I got out of the car I was greeted by the owner, Ruben, emerging from a utility closet. He told me he’d spin up the nozzle for me for free, and I told him no, I’d pay. As I was exchanging my bills for coins, he put his own coins in and started up the timer. It was my first time at this kind of car wash (I’d always gone to drive-through automatic ones in California), and he insisted that he at least show me the ropes. He talked at length about how modern cars are painted with a thin layer of paint and a thick layer of clear coat, showed me all the different prewashes and soaps and wax the nozzle can spray, taught me the exact order and method in which to spray them. As I was doing it slowly for the first time, he refilled the timer with his own coins before I ran out of time. The end result was gorgeous! He then gave me a microfiber cloth and told me to keep it, free of charge. The generosity and positive spirit of this man is inspiring and reason enough to visit. To anyone reading this review, go wash your car at Rapid Spray Car Wash! Ruben is the epitome of a small business owner who spreads kindness and positivity, and it will brighten your day (and your car’s clear coat).

This is a really great place to have your car washed. I usually just go to an automatic car wash , but for about the same time you can do your own wash for way less and have some satisfaction of getting your car cleaned yourself. (Skip the presoak, go straight to soap. Also soap brush gives a lot of soap suds so you will need to give time to rinse off).

Nice to find a basic vintage style coin car wash! The owner is really cool… genuine! Old fashioned function with modern equipment , good quality car wash soap and good water pressure for the final rinse. 5 star rating? Double that… 10 stars!! Yesterday was my first time using this coin-operated car wash and I was really happy with the experience! I found that all of the machinery worked great, and the coin-op prices were far lower than I expected, which was a huge plus as other coin-op washes often left me feeling totally ripped off. I ended up taking far more time to really get my car clean because the prices to keep the wash going were so inexpensive compared to other coin-op car washes. All of the soaps and protectants were in ample supply and seemed to not be watered down more than they were supposed to be. Even on a Monday evening, the other bays were busy! I'm sorry I don't have photos to go with this, as I wasn't planning on writing a review, but I really wanted to share my opinion on this car wash. If you're in the UofA area, or general Hedrick Acres and Amphi area, I highly recommend picking this coin-op car wash for washing your car.

For $3 i was able to get a great basic car wash with presoak, soak, foam brush, rinse, and clear coat protection. It’s hard to beat that price. The owner was also on site and gave me an airflow freshener and let me use his microfiber cloth free of charge. It’s all coin op so come with you dollar and fivers. The owner even complemented me on a nice job of cleaning my care. He is very genuine and caring.
