I walked in without an appointment to have emissions tested. I was told my wait would be 45 minutes to an hour because there were two or three people in front of me. I was out if there and on my way to breakfast in 20 minutes 😁

STAY AWAY! Stay away from all pep boys! If anything goes wrong it is hell to get any kind of resolution. My sons car broke down 2 hours away from home and the car was towed to this place in May! It turned out they said we needed a new engine which would be $3700. Three weeks later, still no car and now they said they can't get the engine to fit with the transmission and he needs a new transmission which they said they wouldn't charge us for. (Which makes me think they broke the transmission) They said we could pick up the car about a month later. My son goes to get the car with his grandfather and during the 2 hours back the car was making a loud banging noise and it was smoking out the tail pipe. They pulled over and determined they were going to try to make it home. They were about a half hour from home. We call them and tell them what happened and the cars not safe. They send a tow truck and pick up the car. They look at the car and tell me it's not that loud and it's safe to drive, there's nothing wrong with it. So we go back to get the car and I take it to my mechanics that I trust and he tells me there's no oil in the car, no transmission fluid and the transmission they put in doesnt work. He says I don't even know how you made it here. I called them told them what my mechanic said and sent them a video that my mechanic took showing the issue. They tell me I have to get a detailed diagnostic which costs $165 of which I don't think I should pay for. This is their problem. Now it's August and I have been trying to have someone call me back from corporate for the past 3 weeks. I am looking to sue them in small claims court. DO NOT GO TO PEP BOYS!

Very bad communication from the technicians or lack there of. On 10/26/24 Saturday my company car had a nail in rear driver side tire. I took my car in to get the nail removed and patched and also have the oil changed. I did not have an appointment and technician took my car in which I was happy about. For any repairs on the company car they have to be prior approved from my fleet credit card company. The technician took details about the fleet credit credit and directly contacted them for approval. After 3 hours of waiting at the facility I got my car back with two of the rear tires replaced with new ones. The technician directly went to the fleet credit card company without relaying it to me that they replacing both rear tires

I felt extremely comfortable getting my oil change at this location! They changed my oil no issues & pretty quickly. They let me know that I should get new tires soon, the technicians were very knowledgeable! Will definitely be going back!

Paid $1200 plus online for tires for my truck, they called and set up appointment for today. I went there and they tell me they don't have my tires. And they won't be in for a week or so. I asked for a refund and they told me they cannot do that I need to call customer service. I call customer service and they tell me I have to wait up to 14 business days for a refund on my $1236! This place sucks and I will never ever recommend them or do business with them again! And PLEASE don't respond by telling me to contact someone because the damage has been done!!!!!!!!

The man working the reception desk was extremely rude to my boyfriend. He had two simple questions 1. Do you sell rims 2. Do you fix rims. The guy had such a short tempered and bad attitude and sounded like he didn’t want to be bothered. QUIT YOUR JOB BUM!!!!!!!!!

There is no reason it takes almost 8hrs to change 4 tires on a truck. Made an appointment and was told 3hrs. No complications simply just changing tires.

I was passing through town when I experienced some car troubles. I went to 4 other places in town, and they all pushed me along. But not Pep Boys, more importantly, not José, Ernest, and Carlos (who was there on his day off) These guys were beyond helpful and kind. Going above and beyond by making sure that, not only my car was taken care of, but that I was too. Thank you to all the staff there. Great guys, and I would happily send anyone to those guys.

One guy handling all the customers is a JOKE. It would be great if he even handled the inflow of customers better. This guy just sticks to talking to people about the car problems, meanwhile my car is ready to go 20 min ago all I’d have to do is pay. But this guy is ridiculous talking about taking peoples money yada yada over and over . Man i just wish they’d handle this better. Reminds me of why I DO NOT COME HERE. but chose to bc i thought i wouldn’t have to deal with this 🫠

I’ve been waiting two months for someone to call me back. I’ve emailed I’ve called once a week. Nobody in human resources has called me back. They said the director would call me about my experience. Never got a phone call. They told me to email them. I have a case number They said they were returning it over to their team leadership. Whatever that means if they even have one no one‘s calling me I’m not even asking for anything unreasonable. I’m just asking for fairness. Top boys is unfair. They don’t care about their customers. They act like they can’t afford it. I’m not even asking for the 125 Va Lulu ation fee that they charge me and that’s all they should’ve charged me. I spent a lot of money At Pep Boys never again I will tell all my friends to never bring their car in there. They hire people off the street. They don’t even know what they’re doing that train properly. They don’t care about their customers so don’t go to Pep Boys. There’s plenty of places out there, you could bring your Vehicle I will be contacting my attorney general

Overpriced and disappointing service. I was charged over $800 just to replace one spark plug and one ignition coil on my Lexus RX400h. That price is completely unreasonable for such a basic repair. No clear explanation or justification for the cost was given. I would not recommend this place unless you’re okay with paying way more than necessary.

This was my first time having major work done on my car with Pep Boys . I was so pleased, I was treated great I was made to feel special and important. I appreciate being explained what my car needed and what everything will cost. I was thankful to meet Anthony who kept me informed on my car and went over the work done. I would definitely go back there are other things I want to get done to my car. I have already told others about Pep Boys.

I paid for my 4 new tires upfront on the 14th, to give them time to source materials, I scheduled my appointment for 3pm on the 17th. I get there and they tell me I do not have an appointment. I reminded them that I'm already cashed out. The worker said he would work on my car today. I waited an hour and my car was still not in the garage. After I questioned it, they said they would get my car in the garage soon. I asked for a refund and walked-out. I was very dissapointed as I scheduled and appointment and had already paid for the entire service and was treated as an after thought. Never getting my car serviced there again. Well, realistically, I didn't get my car serviced in the 1st place.

Got new tires and an alignment. They messed the alignment up horribly and still gave my truck back to me. Went for the second time and was told it's perfect now sorry that they made a mistake and its still not aligned properly so now I must go back for a third time and mind you that just doing the alignment the second time took them over 2 hours

I was very impressed with the level of service I received. The mechanic/manager Ernest who worked on my vehicle was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He not only diagnosed and addressed the issues efficiently, but also took the time to walk me through every step of the process. He clearly explained the work that was performed, why it was necessary, and broke down the charges on the invoice so I could understand exactly what I was paying for. This level of transparency and communication gave me great confidence in the service provided. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I truly appreciate the mechanic’s dedication and customer-focused approach.

These guys are great. I called them. I had 2 tires that were slashed. They got me right in, had me towed in got my car done. Immediately for me to go to work, they were so kind and respectful. Definitely will go back there again. Would like to thank all the staff that worked on my car into the gentleman upfront that spoke with me. Very funny guy, you guys are great. I walked in without an appointment with concerns over my tire going flat was told it would be an hour or more. I stayed to wait for work to be completed and in half the time I was notified that my tire was all set. I checked out and everything was taken care of it was the easiest and fastest experience getting my car looked at that I have ever gone through and I appreciate it so much because I had a nail in my Tire and with the impending storm coming, it was really great to have it all taken care of in such a short amount of time.
