Terrible service. I placed an order for a set of tools to only come to find out. They don’t carry that set of tools anywhere and I ordered it online so they lied to me. I will never shop here again and I will make sure no one else that I know shops here.

These guys are great! Paul's always helpful knows exactly what you need and will point you straight to it. James'll take care of you. I'm glad I have a neighborhood Ace for my quick and last minute hardware needs.

James was extremely knowledgeable & helpful in helping us eliminate our bug problem, inside & outside of our home. He really knows his stuff, and went above & beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. It’s worth skipping the other hardware stores & going to Ace on North Ave because of James!

Their older advertising slogan: " Ace is the place for helpful hardware"..person is spot on for this location!! The staff knows the merchandise and the store layout. Easy access as well!

Had some little counter boy follow me around the store after I found one of the items I was there for being very obvious that he thought I was trying to steal something was completely unprofessional and when he realized that I had more money than. He expected literally looked at me like as to say bet ya didn't work for that even kinda shrugged his shoulder just completely rude and kids like that should be in the back stocking not the older gentleman than was actually stocking and was completely helpful and professional

Very helpful and always so kind. There has not been a time I was in need of a quick fix and someone here had the knowledge to help. If they can’t help you in store, they will definitely give you a place to try next.

This is the least helpful Ace I've ever been to. Employees seem annoyed that you are there, and they don't ask any questions or try to find anything. If you ask , yhe most you'll get is a vague direction of "head straight back there" or told they don't carry that in this location. I've been in this location 3 times and every time felt like they were trying to get me to leave without buying anything, as quickly as possible. I recommend to take the extra time to drive out to Clifton or Fruita

Probably not going in there to do business ever again, manager has made promises he can't keep & his friendliness leave so much to be desired. They rarely have PVC parts, Peat moss, lawn fertilizer & sprinkler system scrubber valves readily available.

A year ago I remember my husband and I went to the north avenue store to go buy tools for our company and the manager thought that we were stealing! All the employees and manager wouldn’t take their eyes off of us and it made us feel so uncomfortable! They even followed us out the door… I had to end up telling them what was their problem, right after they took pics of my car! Never going back to this store again! I was really hoping they would call the cops because everything is on camera and we have nothing to hide! RATING- ZERO STARS!

I had the best experience at this store with James. I came in there w seeming my life was in shambles. My bnb had black widows a d I was afraid I'd have to shut it down for a while. James was the most helpful and caring person I have ever spoken to at a store. He took me right to the spray I needed, and even came by my home and showed me how to use it. James deserves so much from this business. He put himself last and the customer first. I will never go to another Ace Hardware when I need something. I will always ask for James. In my ho est opinion, that gentleman needs a raise!!!!

These guys are great. Very helpful and friendly. I purchased a florescent light and shattered it outside the front door. Went back in to buy another one, when I went to check out they told me there was no charge. I busted it outside the store, it was my fault. They didn't have to give me another light but they did and I didn't even ask. Nice people and honest.

What is the actual price you’re willing to pay for “convenience”? I went in there today to get a single hose clamp and it was $3.59. I went over to Harbor freight and got 40 of them for $4.99. That would be approximately $145 before tax at Ace Hardware. When are companies like this going to stop price gouging people because it’s not really any more convenient to go to Ace that it is to go over to Harbor freight and buy the exact same product for about 40 times cheaper

Ace-North Avenue staff has been so helpful in helping me find what I needed. When what I wanted was sold out because of sale, they were nice enough to order for me. Then when it came in, it was delivered and unloaded to my home. My new favorite hardware store!

The manager on duty is a pleasure to do business with. I want to say her name is Angie. She helped me sign up for a rewards card, find the right paint brush and even did a return for me with no hassles. Even though she was short staffed she kept positive and her customer service was amazing! I would work for Ace Hardware because of her attitude and professionalism. Thank you(:

I’m a volunteer at the Joseph Center Day Shelter every week. There are many projects for the Center I have worked on. James, the store manager has been instrumental in helping me with the essential supplies needed for these projects. James has proven his dedication to our community. His store is always well stocked. His employees are always knowledgeable, professional and eager to help. This Ace Hardware is my go to place. Thank you so much James and all your wonderful employees!

I am a 77-year-old widow whose 1990's lawn mower finally died. I purchased an EGO battery-powered lawn mower last week at the Ace Hardware store on North Avenue. The manager made sure that Brayden, the salesman helping me, told me everything I needed to know about the mower and answered all the questions I had. Brayden was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the mower and the store manager went above-and-beyond by having Brayden come to my home to unload the machine from my truck! This level of customer service is seldom seen in the workplace anymore, and I was extremely impressed and very grateful. Now, about the lawn mower...I used the EGO mower for the first time today and was very pleased with how lightweight and maneuverable it is, yet it's powerful enough to pick up leaves and twigs from the lawn. The blade-height mechanism adjusts all 4 wheels at once and is so much easier to use than the one on my old mower. Maybe best of all, I don't have to worry about disturbing any late-sleepers in my neighborhood since the machine is so quiet! I'm a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend this Ace Hardware store and its employees!

Great service by Aaron and Cheyenne! However, the manager Larry was so rude that I'll never return . I was only shopping there to support small businesses and because I received great service from the aforementioned employees. Lowes and Home Depot have better prices and free delivery. I recommend shopping at either of those locations

I usually enjoy my experience at this location, but my last visit was a little different. I just needed to pick up a couple things for my garage. But then an employee came up to me and said "wanna see something cool?" I responded "sure", thinking it would be something quick, but boy was I wrong. He proceeds to take me to the back, and tells me that I can check out my items for free if I construct him a cool fort where he can "chill in" during his breaks. So I get to work, using probably hundreds of dollars worth of inventory in the process. After two hours, I felt that I built a pretty neat structure, even a cool place to sit. Throughout the process, I would ask him if the fort was sufficient enough, and he would just zip his mouth and shrug his shoulders. After awhile, I was just ready to leave, so I told him I was done. He proceeded to start screaming at me that it was not cool enough and I was not getting any sort of discount. I got scammed into building a fort. 2/5, still a good store usually.

Friendly and helpful. I needed an unusual screw that neither HD or Lowe’s had, but Ace did. They were very nice about helping me on my hunt and it wasn’t expensive.
