GM Curtis took great care of me today. I'll definitely be back. EDIT Review: I am changing my review almost immediately, from a 5 star to a 1 star as I cannot recommend MOD Wash after it left NUMEROUS micro scratches (horizontal, not circular as the factory buff leaves) on my 2022 Tacoma along with NUMEROUS other scratches, some being very deep. I informed the GM Curtis after I checked my vehicle for the cleanliness of the wash as this is my first time using a touch car wash (ever) since I purchased the vehicle a year ago. He filed a damage claim immediately and told me he would be in touch within 48 hours. I have read the previous reviews for such damage and the outlook is not hopeful but I will make my own judgements after the waiting period. The GM Curtis was very understanding and polite, he even gave me the car wash for free as it was my first time there and using a touch wash. I've provided pictures below to show review readers the damage that has occurred.

What an awesome car wash. The staff are beyond friendly and the manager Jim is very very friendly and accommodating to everyone. They all walk around and wave and talk to people just a very friendly environment. I would more than recommend this to anybody we are from Iowa and were visiting for a few months due to my husband‘s military orders and it was almost sad to say goodbye because they make you feel like family.

Mr. Anthony was very helpful and considerate in getting me right option for my car wash experience here. I'm new to modwash and wasn't sure what to do. He guided me and told me which package was a great deal based from my needs for my car wash. A standard pro-wash for roughly $28. Good services and fair pricing for what I got. 😄

It looks like they did a lot of upgrades and have free vacuum and cloths to clean windows but IMO their washing system needs upgrade. It missed numerous spots on my car some small and some sizable areas were left untouched. I have pictures of the smaller areas and the tire shine option pretty much as coated a 1/2 of one tire only. The wheels were not fully cleaned either. I have had better cleaning with touch less washes than this one here.

Pulled in 40 minutes before close, I watched the employees turn off the lights and try to pretend they weren't there. They were visibly irritated once I paid and they had to came out to do their job. The car wash wasn't even good, car still dirty. No towels.

Don’t take fancy cars here unless you want your stuff broken. My husband went here to get a wash. Keep in mind everything on his car was intact before the wash. My husband went to get it washed and his tire valve stem broke off to the point his tire was flat. Along with one of his modifications that were attach to his car. All the manager did was say sorry. Nothing else. He didn’t even want to pay for the damages. The car wash is so rough it just breaks the stuff off your car immediately. We’ve been to several other cash washes and this has never happened. Usually the washes we go to aren’t that rough and the staff/management treat their customers way better. We won’t be going here ever again because the wash broke stuff on the car. We rather it not happening again. I did see on someone’s 1 star review that certain cars may be at risk for antennas falling off or license plate covers etc. But no where on there does it say certain tires are at risk for losing a tire valve.

Attendant was there to help with using the choice & payment kiosk. Have an extended cab truck with 8 foot bed that I was able to easily turn into the wash lane. Another attendant helped guide you into the wash. Paid $28 for top wash. System uses shammies in the wash to help clean vehicle better but wheels are not clean. Will have to manually clean them at home, but usually automatic washes do not clean rims so I am not surprised.

First time trying this car wash and not a good experience. I did like that it was a self service for choosing and paying for your wash so you could explore the options. I then pulled up after paying for my wash and there was a cone in front of the wash entrance so I waited not sure if anyone was even working After about 5 minutes someone comes out and directs me on to the wash bay and then he goes back inside. I’m sitting there in neutral not moving for what felt like a decent amount of time. Eventually I reverse and roll down my window and look into the main office where two guys are talking. I tell them I’m not moving and the one employee tells me he didn’t know I was there. I told him that someone literally just helped me line up so he knew I was there. After that they fixed it and got the track moving but I felt scared that no one was monitoring the wash in case something went wrong. There was no towels or cleaning sprays at the vaccums like some other places I’ve been to. Would not recommend. Not a good car wash and the service is lacking.

It was overcast today. I pay for a modwash plan. Went to get my suv rinsed off and they had cones blocking the entrance. Says online they are open but apparently the employees didnt want to do anything because they basically posted up like they were closed. You could not even get to the entrance because of the cones. I saw 4 vehicles have to turn around because they acted like they were closed... there are now 4 different car washes in the area. I might as well just switch. Tire shine doesn't cover all the tires. Only have of one tire. I dont know. I think this might be the end of the car wash. I dont pay almost 50 a month to have it be closed during 12pm noon.

Terrible customer service. Pulled in on Dec 24, 2025 and discovered membership had expired. We did not want a new membership but out of courtesy to individuals pulled in behind us we asked for a One time wash. Employee assured us multiple times that we were not being charged for a membership as they wouldn't allow us to pay cash. Their computer equipment wasn't working and employee again assured us no membership. Well received a statement today and of course received a bill for membership after the one time Dec charge. Called corporate and they refused a refund even though it was their employee's error. Will never visit this company again.

After a year and a half of giving Mod Wash on Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg the benefit of the doubt, I’m canceling my subscription. Over the past year, the drive-through wash has been closed on multiple occasions during posted operating hours. This past month alone, I drove there three separate times during business hours and the drive-through was closed every single time. Three trips. Zero washes. Plenty of wasted time. The reliability issues don’t stop there. The carpet cleaner has been broken for over a year, and it’s common to find several vacuums out of service whenever I visit. At some point, this stops being “bad luck” and starts being the normal experience. When you pay for a monthly subscription, the expectation is simple: the core equipment should work, and the service should be available. That hasn’t been the case here. A car wash shouldn’t feel like a gamble or a guessing game. If consistency and respect for your time matter, Mod Wash is not the car wash to go to. I’ve officially canceled my membership and will be taking my business elsewhere.
