If I could give them negative stars I would. From the beginning to the end is an experience that I will not repeat. First, the very pushy, shady SALESMAN at the kiosk, like I can't read the description of each service and what it entails - tried to sale me on a membership. I had to tell him no three times. Then after choosing wash I wanted, he reaches for my credit card, - sir - why do you have to touch my card, I can insert or tap it myself - it's called touchless? The person with the scrubber at the entrance to the wash did a poor job and my windshield, back window and tires were still dirty - I paid for the tire service by the way. In addition, when I forced the man inside to open the door and asked for towels, he says that I can buy towels!!!there are no complimentary towels or cleaning product for touch up cleaning so I could not even clean the still dirty windows and tires. Are you kidding me??? I will not go back to the Vestavia location of Mister Car Wash EVER.

Says they are open until 7, left work and went out of my way to get my car cleaned and vacuum it but they had shut off everything at 6:40. I pay for the monthly membership but wasted my time completely. If you want to close at 6:30 then you should post that as your hours of operation. Is what it is I guess.

The young man went the most above and beyond pre-treating my vehicle before the car wash started of any experience I’ve ever had at a car wash. I’ve been an unlimited member for 5+ years, so that likely includes 200+ car washes. I absolutely HATE that I don’t know his name to give him proper credit, but he’s an African American male with glasses in his 20’s at the Vestavia Hills location. I couldn’t get over how thorough he was for no reason other than showing a sense of pride and ownership in his work. 10/10 experience, because of him.

I have to park on the street under trees and get more bird poop on my car than I care to admit. My biggest gripe with Mister is the intensity with which they will pester and try to coerce me to pay more/get a membership etc but won't scrub the bird poop off my car. I always have to tell someone to please be sure to scrub or I have to go back through the car wash. You know whats annoying? Having to go through a car wash twice. Car washes are largely about convenience, theres nothing convenient about going through a car wash twice. It should be part of every package that sticky spots get scrubbed well. I can't keep paying for a car wash that leaves bird poop on my car.

I was actually looking for a self serve car wash where I could pay a couple bucks and spray the bird poop off my car myself. Despite putting “self serve” in my search, I was directed to Mister Car Wash. Tracy was the employee that was standing at the entrance/pay station. He politely listened as I fussed about not wanting to pay $10 (their cheapest, basic option) when I knew it was going to rain the next day. "But if it doesn't rain HARD ENOUGH, I'll still have bird poop..." Tracy smiled and tolerated my fussing so politely. I was also greeted with a smile by the gentleman that guided me into the car wash. He sprayed Grace (my car's name), even after Tracy sprayed it for me. The car wash itself is really cool. It's like a car wash and a light show all in one! I see negative reviews but my first experience was great! Grace enjoyed her fancy bath.
