Old fashioned self service car wash. Well kept, everything always works and during the day someone is on site. I highly recommend.

It's a quick cheap option for a manual car wash. That's what I wanted. I read complaints about overcharging when you use a card swipe and are charged based on time. I had a $10 pending charge that resolved to about $3.50, and I did a more thorough job than I usually do.

I will never go back because I was charged $10 for a very short car wash when I swiped my charge card. I didn't find this out until I viewed my credit card statement. It is posted nowhere that $10 is the minimum charge. This is very crooked on the part of the owner. I intend to report this deceitful business practice, since the other reviews are in agreement that the owner is an A hole. I left a message on the phone, but it sounds like the owner is fine with stealing money from the public. I doubt if it would occur to him to do the honest thing. Yeah, the law needs to know about this.

Spend your money else where, it's not worth it, even for $3.00. The staff and manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. I been to this place a few times but never again. The machines has weak pressure and could barely get the dirt off. I brought my scrub just for the tree saps on my car because there's no way the pressure could take it off, been there done that, plan on rinsing my car after. Manager gets in my face saying I can't scrub the tiny spots on my car and have the use the machine, wft, the machine barely works. Went in the middle of the day and there's no line, no one behind me, I'm not holding anyone up, manager tells me to leave and apparently does not know anything about operating a business. No need to escalate the issue due to incompetent management, finally use pressure washer to rinse the soap and the dirt of my car. Guess what, what soap is off and the dirt is still there! Consumers be aware, you have been warned. There are many decent car wash in this area, but this one is definitely not the one. Avoid at all cost.

Would not go back. Owner or employee waited until I backed in my oversized work truck to tell me I couldn’t wash it there. Not one to leave negative reviews but this was frustrating.

I used to be a frequent visitor here but stopped coming a few months ago and today I was reminded why. I was told by the "owner" to not hand wash my car, which I can understand. I was only doing this as my car has a few paint chips and didn't want to use the full pressure to soap it down. When I go to dry my car he tells me that I "need to move along." This frustrated me but reading through other reviews, I'm not the only one who has had this happen. Safe to say there are better car washes out there that are more professional and don't have "soapy rinse water."

The owner likes to get into pissing matches. You can't park at Taco Republic, Dollar Tree, because the owner is such a wonderful person. I tried to save myself some money cleaning my vehicle. Put money in and filled up a bucket. This jerk kicked my bucket over and told me to leave. I couldn't even rinse off my vehicle. Which he didn't realize I would be putting more money in his machine. 👎

I'd rate this place 0 stars if I could. I'm a new resident to the KC area and this is my first car wash I visited since moving. I bring a bucket with me and hand wash my car in the UNLESS SPECIFIED. Also, there was literally no one washing their cars, only vacuuming. I began to spray wash my car to get it wet and added water to my bucket with soap already in it. I began to wash my car, just like I usually would, and an old man walked over and told me I couldn't bucket wash. I asked him to kindly show me a sign that says so, because I've never heard of that, UNLESS SPECIFIED. He told me "we don't do that around here" and I promptly asked him if I could just finish since I already started washing - he said "no". I told him that I can't recommend this place to anyone, because of some imaginary and senseless policy. I would completely understand if there was a sign up. But UNLESS SPECIFIED, don't enforce a policy that doesn't exist. Sincerely, A paid, first-time customer on a slow day (I went to Fast Eddie's shortly thereafter, and had a great experience. Their spray guns are higher pressure, their soap is more concentrated, and above all no BS. No policy against hand washing there.) Edit - I called their customer service number to talk to the owner about what happened, left a voice message, and haven't heard back

Strict rules: No hand wash even spray is on and a clock is counting. You must use their blush which are saturated with mud. Clean place but who cares if you cannot clean your car properly. Only idiots use this place while there are plenty other lower cost/ friendly car washes around. You won’t have any issue at this place if you do not know how to properly wash your car.

Was told by a man who identified himself as the owner that I can not use my own detergent with hand wash after I paid 4 dollars for the usage of their pressure washer. I didn't want to use their crappy shampoo and brush on my new car and was going to pay for the pressure washer again after I shampoo the car. Did not get to do that. He Then hovered around my car creepily, came by again to tell me that I can't dry my car in the bay even though the place was empty. If i could rate zero star, I would. If you want to do any sort of detailing while washing your car, stay away from this place.

I did a quick 5 minute wash to wash off some mud. The card reader said $3 when I hit stop. My card got charged $10. This is a rip off. Looking through the reviews here and you can find at least a couple of other reviews complaining about the same thing: getting charged $10 for a 5 minute wash. Edit: I should amend this review and change my rating from 1 star to 4 stars to note that my bank charge was eventually lowered to $3 on its own. They must put a charge through for $10 until it's adjusted. They could save their customers some heartache and themselves from some 1 star reviews if they would post a sign saying that's how payments are processed.

Good location and reasonably priced. Update Feb 2022: My charge card is charged $10 regardless of how long I spend cleaning my car. Such a rip off I've had the soap disappear in the middle of a wash, I've had the wax stop working half way through. The only solution the staff person gave me was to go to another bay and didn't offer a free wash. Same owner owns car wash at Shawnee Mission parkway and Santa Fe.

My brother and I went to get my car washed in the early afternoon. An elderly white man, I think, who worked there came out of nowhere and asked how long we would be cause other customers were waiting to wash their cars. There was only one person behind us. The other person could have moved to another one. This was my second time coming to the car wash. He wasn't there the first time I came. Also, he had an attitude when he asked us how long we would be. We were pretty much done and were about to leave. So I don't know why he targeted us.

I have always liked this car wash. Never had any issues with the equipment, and I especially like that there are credit card readers at the wash bays and the vacuums for those who don't carry cash anymore. Recently I took lots of extra time because my car was super dirty from the snow, and it only cost $6. Usually I can do it for about $4.

I visited this wash several times without issue until today when I encountered an extremely rude staff member- same as other reviewer's experiences, telling me to move along. Note, there was only 1 other bay in use. Never will I give this place my money again.

Been coming here a few years. It’s a straightforward car wash. Good water pressure, good vacuums. Cheap prices. Everyone complaining about the overcharge doesn’t realize that where you swipe your card you need to hit the STOP button when you’re done. If you don’t the machine will keep going until it times out at 15 minutes. Hence the $10 charge. Don’t just turn the selector dial to off - hit the green highlighted button where you swipe your card to end it!
