Guy out front was an unfriendly curmudgeon who was upset with me for not knowing what to buy or what a pearl wash included. You don’t know how much you’re paying until you get to the register. Bring the younger black fella back. He at least had a sense of humor. Car was pretty clean, but not worth the $31 I paid for it.

I LOVE Mermaid Car Wash! I have been going there for years and am always very happy with the service I receive. Their workers are always friendly and they do a thorough job washing the outside of my vehicle, plus vacuuming the inside and wiping it down. FYI you do have to get vacuum plus if you have a larger vehicle, like a minivan, that you want completely vacuumed out. Worth it, in my opinion. Thank you, Mermaid! ❤️

So attention everyone, I’m a new customer to Mermaid. I started off with one off watches then they were so great. I did a membership and then even had some of my vehicles detailed and I have to say not only the best VALUE with the best quality wash detail and staff I’ve ever experienced at a car wash. yes, talking to the Parrots was a bonus! TRUST ME, GIVE IT A TRY!

The staff that took my vehicle upon arrival were surprisingly rude. They seemed agitated that I had my dogs with me and were short with me when I asked them to give me the order slip that I had forgotten on my dash. After getting my vehicle back the interior looked like it hadn't even been touched. I will say that the robot that cleaned the exterior did a great job. And the guys that did the windows at the end did a slighty better job than the mat cleaners and vacuumers. For my final comments, just take your vehicle to dealership and get it detailed. You'll spend maybe $10 more and your vehicle will be returned essentially new. If you don't want to spend the extra $10 go to another automatic car wash, the robots won't rummage through your things and scowl at you.

Took in my vehicle for a complete detail, interior & exterior. I went to pick up my vehicle after it was done and the results were amazing, they did a really awesome job. Great customer service. Clean place. Great popcorn. Highly recommend MERMAID CARWASH. West of Madison.

Buyer beware. The Coral Package does not include a proper interior cleaning, despite the price suggesting otherwise. I spent $58 expecting a solid interior and exterior clean, but the interior work was sub-par and disappointing. The biggest issue is poor communication. No one clearly explains what each package includes, so it’s easy to assume you’re paying for more than you actually receive. After already spending $58, I was told I would need a separate interior detail for an additional $60. For just $2 more, I could have received the level of service I initially thought I was paying for. That pricing and lack of transparency feels misleading and frustrating as a customer. The manager was cordial and did try to do the right thing. However, I was disappointed that I wasn’t offered a discounted return visit for the interior service—especially since interiors aren’t done on Sundays, which I wasn’t told upfront. I hope the new ownership can improve communication and package clarity, but based on this experience, I won’t be returning anytime soon. Truly a waste of money

I have been going to Mermaid for years. I gave the monthly unlimited package and they do an amazing job every time; inside and out. The staff is friendly. They now serve free popcorn while you wait. And their bathrooms are clean and recently updated. I highly recommend them for all of your car wash needs.

First experience here was a $200 detail and wash. I have two big dogs and my SUV was covered in tons of hair, leather seats very dirty as well. I was very impressed with the job that was done, the young man who cleaned did a great job removing the hair and making my car look amazing again. I’d emptied the car of everything, the only spot that was missed was the inside part of the middle console but that wasn’t a huge deal given the attention paid elsewhere. I’ve since purchased the monthly membership and have been happy with follow-up washes. Consistency seems dependent on how busy they are, but given the price, no complaints, it’s a good deal.

40 for this is unacceptable 🤡 The interior is still dirty visible grime on the seats, floor, and especially the center console and cup holders. These are basic areas that should always be cleaned, yet they were clearly skipped. What’s even worse is that my lip balm was thrown away without my permission. Why are personal belongings being touched or discarded when the actual cleaning wasn’t even done properly? That’s unprofessional and crosses a line. This is rushed, careless, and not worth the money. If you’re charging for an interior clean, do the job correctly and don’t touch things you shouldn’t. I won’t be back.

I’ve had my vehicles washed at Mermaid Car Wash on Grand Canyon for over 15 years. Each time they do a great job cleaning the inside and exterior of my car. The employees are friendly and polite. I also recognize one employee who vacuums the interiors of cars - he has been working there a minimum of 15 years, ever since I’ve been a customer. This longevity says a lot about Mermaid as a place of employment. Today I happen to discover they updated and remodeled the restrooms, and they look great - I appreciate the cost/purse rack they have in the ladies room. Also love that they have free popcorn and coffee as to enjoy while you wait. I will continue coming to Mermaid for all of these reasons I mentioned and more! I highly recommend Mermaid.

Honest review. This is the only picture I have on my phone right now, from while I was at a local car show (mine is on the left), but I did appreciate the detail job. I almost drove off and left after some young employee who had apparently been assigned to detail my car proceeded to argue with me about how he’d done “tons of Mustangs like that” and questioned my request to hand wash my collectible approaching-vintage daily driver (now garaged almost full-time and very low mileage). After I arrived for my scheduled appointment which I made and agreed to pay the price for a hand wash ONLY. I am part of a certified registry owner of a unique anniversary build Mustang, and I follow owner and dealer recommendations for maintenance and upkeep. Automatic car washes are not recommended for my car, and I also had my hood restored <6 months ago. Regardless, it doesn’t matter how many cars someone has done, it’s the customer’s money and decision, and not the job of the employee to question or argue their choice unless it would result in dangerous conditions or damage to the vehicle. That being said, I took the complaint to a man named “Mouse” who detailed the car himself and shined my tires and conditioned my leather at no extra charge. The price was fair—a lot less than my usual place wanted for a standard hand-wash and wax and vacuum. $81.67. Mouse and the cashiers were also very patient when my service dog, who is still training and sensitive around a lot of people and new things, encountered parrots for the first time. As someone who is neurodivergent and struggles with health recovery making severe chronic pain and fatigue worse, my dog provides mobility support and emotional support, and my stress tolerance is low as of late. I appreciated their patience with both of us. The only reason I did not give five stars was for my initial experience with the younger man on arrival.

Brought in my Bronco for an interior detail, FANTASTIC JOB! My truck looks better than when I bought it off the lot!! Did a great job getting into all the little cracks and compartments. My seats look brand new and has that new car SHINE back. Detailer also offered exterior detail which he was very knowledgeable about and my next visit! LOVE IT!
