This review is very late, but this was definitely one of the best experiences we've had with a tire shop before. This is a crew of not only skilled workers, but just good, down to earth people. This is now our preferred place for tire services. Thanks guys!

Les Schwab is the only place I take my vehicle for tires, brakes and alignment needs. This store is one of three in Idaho Falls area and does great work. The parking is very limited in the front of the store but parking on the street is not available. There is some overflow parking in the Northwest of the main office where their alignment center is located. Staff are extremely friendly. They deliver work that is fast and complete. They always communicate costs and wait for approval before moving forward so you will never get a bill that was higher than discussed and verbally or agreed to in writing.

I came in because I couldn’t remove the lug nuts or wheel locks on my Ford Escape. They helped me right away, removed the old ones, and installed new ones. Fast, professional, and very affordable. Highly recommended!

There’s been times that Les Schwab saved the day, but sadly more often than not, times where they ruined it. Especially at this location. Years and years of going to mechanics and shops, including this place for minor things because you simply can’t trust this location with anything important, and I still have yet to find a place worse. I have hope and faith that after years a business could improve! But it’s simply not the case for this Les Schwab location, as many many locals here would agree and love to see this place completely make a 180, or just be gone in general. Very sleazy. Best word to describe the work ethic here. The first problem comes with the front desk. My most recent visit found me in a completely empty store front. No line, no other customers, and only one vehicle in a bay. Not only had my vehicle sat all day (just waiting for a tire rotation as well as an alignment and a look at the shocks), theres no one manning the desk. This is a regular thing and I feel just having a dedicated employee up front would do wonders! Lots of local shops here have a nice office with great desk help. That alone would grant an extra star to this review. My vehicle did not receive any work to it, for the entire day. Didn’t receive a call or anything, and was confidently told it really wouldn’t take that long at all! They close at 6PM, came in at 5:45PM to see what was up. Tires had been rotated and was set aside. Nothing else done to it. Also informed them in the morning that I do live 2 hours away, and no extra car to go home with so. I don’t know. You be the judge! Have plenty of other examples with proof of warranties not being honored, plenty of work not being done, and even minor damages after work was done. Read the reviews! This is not the place for anyone. I would recommend Tunex and Oswald’s.

I had special ordered a set of tires for my truck. Shortly after doing so I was called out of town for a week. When I returned home I had a very angry rude voice-mail stating I had to pay a restocking fee. I completely understood the restocking fee and promptly paid it the next day. I however did not appreciate the unprofessional message. Les schwab has always been my go-to tire store but I think I will avoid this location.

Les Schwab always does a great job. I really appreciate the friendly greeting upon arrival and excellent customer service here. I can book my appointment online or just walk in--both or which are very convenient. Les Schwab represents trustworthiness to me, which is why I won't go anywhere else in town for my tire needs.

I found a small peice of metal in my tire on my way out of town this morning and swung by for a flat repair. I was in and out in less than a half an hour! Staff were very kind and friendly! Grateful for their help in getting me back on the road!

Jared, the new manager was fantastic to work with. He definitely knew what he was doing. I had a quote from another mechanic shop that included more parts that weren't in bad shape and missed parts that were bad... like an axle seal that was super bad. I am so grateful for great customer service and an open line of communication!! Highly recommend 👌

For more than twenty years this has been my store and will be for life. But I love that no matter where I have a tire issue I can get help from Les Schwab. Go Les Schwab!!!

Look no further!! We were on the road in the RV, realized we had a front tire issue and started making calls. This shop fit us in on a saturday afternoon, took great care of us, and charged a very reasonable price. I'm very grateful for the high value they put on helping to keep us safe.

The lady assistant working on the credit accounts was fantastic.. spoke over phone when setting the appointment and spoke to her in person .. great attention to detail and made the process from switching an account from a different state so quick and simple right before the snow hits😊

I couldn’t have asked for better service. During our 20-hour drive, we ran into a tire issue, and the team went above and beyond to help us. They came directly to us, got air into the tire, guided us safely to the shop, and had us back on the road in no time. Their professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care turned a stressful situation into a smooth experience. Highly recommend!

The employees are nice, but the experience was awful. Brought my car in for a flat tire repair, and was quoted also for a replacement pressure sensor that I was told would fix the system and turn off the dash light. I was already there and thought it fit into my schedule with the estimate of 45 minutes I was given originally. After an hour had passed, I asked for an updated time frame and was told 10 minutes, only to wait about another 30. When it was finally done, the sensor light was still on. One of the employees did take a scanner to the system when I asked and let me know that one of the other sensors was also not working. Why this wasn't done before giving me a quote for one sensor is beyond me, as it took all of five minutes, and would have prevented me wasting my time and my money on something that didn't fix any of my problems. They fixed the flat just fine, but everything else was just miserable.

Got a piece of steel in my tire traveling from Chicago to Idaho for a trip with friends. Was able to plug it and fill it with air until I got to the store but it was still leaking. When I got to the store the gentleman came out to the car to greet me and ask what was going on. They had the tire off, patched, remounted, and back in the truck in under an hour. After saving the day, they didn’t even let me pay. I was stunned by this level of service and can’t thank these guys enough. The only downside is the realization there are no Les Schwabs in the Midwest.

We just had the most wonderful experience! We had a major issue with a tire on our truck on the way through Idaho Falls on a Friday night at 4:30 pm. We called Darryl at Les Schwab, he waited for us to get towed to the store, arriving at 6:15, past closing time. He, Mikayla and Tyler worked on the truck and had us back on the road in just over an hour. They were kind and helpful; excellent customer service!! They made what could have been a very bad day feel not so bad! Thank you!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Had a nail in my tire that was not repairable. Bought a tire and had them install it. The tire machine had scratched several places on my wheel. The manager, Jared was convinced I had curbed it. Hard to curb a wheel when the tire sticks out past the wheel, and curb it perfectly in four corners where a tire machine would mount. He is very very rude, argumentative and crooked. Finally they had ordered me a new wheel. Once the new wheel was installed. I had asked for my old wheel back that I had purchased from custom offsets. Jared had said I can’t have it back because they had bought me a new wheel and there is nothing structurally wrong with my old one, so he will resale it to someone who needs it. I finally got my scratched wheel back after hours and days of arguing with Jared and calling corporate. I will NEVER be going to that store as long as he works there.

I’m writing this review to share an ongoing and very frustrating experience that has stretched over the course of a couple of months. My first visit was due to a flat tire on the driver-side rear. I was informed that the tire could not be removed because the lug nuts were warped to the threads. Without discussing options with me beforehand, the shop damaged my rim in order to remove the tire. Afterward, the tire was temporarily fixed, and the manager told me he would locate a replacement rim to make up for the damage and would contact me. I never received a call. After waiting a couple of weeks, I attempted to follow up myself but was unable to get in touch with anyone. Later, I returned with another flat—this time the driver-side front tire, where the valve stem/sensor had come completely out. I explained the situation and was told I needed an entirely new set of tires. I was given a quote for four tires, and because the damaged rim had never been replaced, the tires were eventually comped for $350, which I did appreciate. I also had a medical appointment that day at 1:00 PM and made that clear to the staff. When it was 12:30 PM, they had just finished installing the new tires, leaving me with very little time before I had to leave. When I checked the vehicle outside, I noticed the passenger-side rear tire was now flat. Because my appointment was only 15 minutes away, I had no choice but to leave. It was extremely frustrating to arrive at a tire center with a flat and leave with a flat. After my appointment, I stopped at a gas station to add air, but once again the valve stem/sensor came completely out. I returned to Les Schwab the same day, explained the issue, and they replaced the tire. At that point, everything seemed resolved. Now, just two days later, my driver-side rear tire is flat again with only a small amount of air remaining. I attempted to check it with a pressure gauge, but it would not take air at all. Given my previous experiences with valve stems coming out, I’m hesitant to touch it further. Although I understand that everyone’s experience can be different—and many people seem to have positive ones—based on my repeated issues and the lack of a lasting resolution, I will not be returning to this tire center. Overall, I’m not sure why I’ve had to go back so many times for problems that still have not been fully resolved after months. I expect better communication, more thorough inspections, and lasting repairs—especially from a company with Les Schwab’s reputation. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers don’t experience the same repeated problems. This photo is the tire now a couple days later(Today). Slowly deflating.
