I needed a vitamin that was good for my age. I went to the pharmacy clerk and she told the pharmacist. She immediately came out and told me what to get and where also if I didn't find it to let her know. If this pharmacy was on my insurance list I would transfer all my prescriptions to it because of her customer service. I never felt like I was being rushed or she was too busy although she was she still took time to help me, legendary customer service.

Terrible location. I was unreasonably accused of theft and had an employee try and search my bag without my consent. My bag is a concealed carrier bag that I am licensed for, I was not stealing anything. Furthermore, the past 4 times going to this location, i have returned home to find I have purchased expired and rotting food. Management does not even attempt to mitigate the issue and this sort of negligence breeds further mishaps. Please take this review seriously and spend your money elsewhere. I want to add that ive contacted management over these issues and I was basically told oh well sounds like bad luck accountability is non-existence with this place.

So I used to think NOTHING could turn me off from Kroger until TONIGHT! Best sales…best selection & what I used to think was the best customer service but after tonight, NOPE! I’d say Walmart Supercenter has them beat. What store literally won’t let you check out when you’re in line with a basket full of groceries totaling over $150 that you need for the church Thanksgiving lunch b/c it’s 3 minutes after close? There was literally a man checking out in front of me! I mean it’s not like they had to do it b/c they had already shuffled us to the, “Do it yourself” line. I mean really? I drove over half an hour to get here!!!!! 3 minutes after close & you won’t let me get my stuff? The cherry on top was having to wait 10 minutes for them to unlock the door to let me out! And look…it’s 12:16…I’m already in my car & wrote a review! I think I could have gotten my groceries. Oh wait…people don’t do unto others anymore. This Thanksgiving I’m grateful that despite how others treat me, I don’t let it ricochet off me & screw things up for everyone else. My sweet senior citizens that don’t have blood family will still get to celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow w/what I promised them if I have to fly to the moon & go w/o sleep to cook it all for them. Kroger Karen won’t ruin it for them. Sometimes all you have is how you treat people. I just hope Kroger Karen feels better about herself. Now that she got to exuberate some of that authoritative energy on making sure everyone “didn’t” get what they came for…maybe now, she can use it for good & actually help people find what they need instead of turning off some of the lights at 13 minutes before close & making everyone feel like they’re on that supermarket rush game show. We know Karen…you get paid either way. News flash! Try going above & beyond. Maybe then, there would be less self checkouts reminding you just how much more stamina they have than you & less people like me reminding corporate that despite you physically doing less, the short interaction time I had w/you let me know you could care less if you ever had or helped a customer again EVER! You’re just doing your time. Prob one of the reasons there’s only one Kroger in Longview. Complacency kills & there’s always someone out there that would feel blessed to be where you are. You could have been a life saver & I would have remembered you for a completely different reason…. but instead, even when I told you how far I drove & what I needed it for you didn’t even care & then made me wait on YOU. If pulling rank made you feel better about yourself then I take it all back. Every dog has their day, right? Woof woof! Glad I could help in letting you get yours. God Bless Kroger Karen & people….if you can’t check out BY closing….step AWAY from the cart (no matter where you are in the store &/or what’s in it) & JUST LEAVE! Otherwise you’re just getting steps in for your watch!

Today you get a two. I stood in line at customer service that was no less than 7 to 9 people for 15 minutes while one girl tried to get through all of the customers. One gentleman was very old and could barely walk, he shuffled really I saw the front end manager walk by no less than five times And ignore it. She even stepped outside for a moment and then came back in not doing anything really just wandering around. The girl at customer service did a fine job and was very polite with a smile on her face even after I told her what crappy managers she had. I watched the manager of the Store walk by stand behind the counter For 10 minutes and do nothing about the 7 to 9 people standing in line at customer service Kroger is the only place in East Texas, so far that we have run into horrible customer service. We moved here about three months ago and every place we go. Everyone is so kind and goes above and beyond to take care of their customers, but not Kroger, oh no. Customers last. I won’t come back here.

I will not be shopping here again. I literally witnessed an employee put his hands on another employee without the young man's consent. I know that you do not conduct yourself in that manner. I would hope that the incident was reported to the management. Please teach your new hires to conduct themselves professionally. I also witnessed something that I perceived as racism. I do not want to go into detail. This location has a high turn over rate. I can see why. Appreciate your employees better and those that want to work let them. Good help is already hard to find, please do not get a lawsuit for harassment for which I witnessed. Treat your staff that are willing to work better. If it had been me I know what I would have done.

I went to Kroger's because I wanted something specific at a reasonable price. Kroger had discounts that I ordinarily don't see. Products were so much cheaper than the monopoly in East Texas. I will return when it's grocery day. I had to go a bit out of the way; however, it was worth it!

It's great to see more South American foods, the diverse products Krogers carries has been more and more pleasant. Great for more people of East Texas to try and enjoy!

I love Kroger, they have great selection of products and the produce is always fresh, I also like the crab cakes made at the meat counter. The best part is that you can grab sushi on your way out!

Went to this Kroger for the first time today. I have been to a lot of Kroger stores. I think so far this is the worst Kroger I have been to. This store needs a remodel inside and out. The floor is falling apart and the parking lot is dirty and needs cleaned. The store is well stocked but seems like a smaller Kroger than others. The store staff are nice and it's also a busy kroger store. The gas fill up Is Tiny and they are out of all gas but reg unleaded.

Great store! Was looking for semolina flour online and found that this Kroger store had it in stock. Sure enough, there were several bags on the shelf. The store was clean and the shelves were full. Makeshia was very friendly and checked us out quickly and accurately.

I ordered online for delivery, but part of my order was incorrect. I called and was told by Krogers customer service rep to come in to get it corrected. When I arrived, I felt like I wasn’t being believed about the issue, and that was disappointing. I really just wanted to get the mix-up fixed, but the interaction left me feeling uncomfortable.

Atmosphere is always nice. Found most of what I needed, however some of the things I couldn’t find ,and I didn’t find, and there was nobody to ask.

Went out of my way off route to stop by Kroger on a trip for a specific item. 2 on the shelf, asked three different associates to check the stock (online I could by 10 and pick up two hours later) all refused, the third laughed at me…first time visiting a Kroger. I left frustrated.

I went grocery shopping at this Kroger, today. The store and the large, free parking lot were reasonably clean. The workers I interacted with were polite but not especially well-trained: The gentleman at the deli misunderstood how much cheese I wanted by a pound, and the lady at the self-checkout startled me while asking if everything was okay, to the point that I got the feeling she thought I was trying to steal groceries. The bagging area at the self-checkouts is far too small to fit a cart of groceries, and the bagged groceries have to be placed back in the cart in order to ring up the entire cart of groceries. I was pleased that this Kroger's store carries Boar's Head deli items and that the produce was fresh. I appreciated the sales today: Half pork loins cost $2.49/pound; Kroger canned vegetables cost $.88/can; Rao's soups cost $3.49/jar; and Tostito's tortilla chips cost $1.99/bag.

I would definitely recommend this Kroger purely for the fact i won’t shop anywhere else and have to drive over an hour to get here. The selection of items, common and unique are better than other retailers. The staff is helpful and the other night in went in late and a young last named Lauren helped me find two items i couldn’t locate. When it came time to checkout only self checkout was open and i’m not interested in scanning my own groceries so Lauren saw me and opened a register and checked me out. This employee seems to have great care for the customers and goes that extra mile. Y’all are lucky to have her.

I love their deli fried chicken , however the employee's are definitely lacking customer service skills. Today the girl working got pissy because I wanted to purchase a 12 piece. This caused her to have to cook more because the case was emptied. After she handed me my order, she walked around the corner to another employee and started complaining about me. I walked up behind her and witnessed it because the potato salad was in the case where she was standing. Three weeks ago I came in to purchase fried chicken and had to wait almost 40 minutes because they was getting ready to cook some. I waited while they filled all frying racks , all rotisserie racks and stopped to help other customers. Before the food was started cooking. Funny thing I thought that selling the deli food was what they was supposed to do in the deli. Guess I'll find some place new to buy my fried chicken, maybe the Brookshires fresh.
