If I could give them no stars I would. The staff is fine, store needs some cleaning. Always out of things like they don’t order items? This store needs to sort out the pickup orders. Placed an order that night, next day get a reminder email to pickup. Drive across town to a canceled order and no answers. Your system sucks.

I don’t shop here because I find this store to be pretty gross and under stocked majority of the time but I do shop here for work. This is your Deli right above the deli slicer. 🤢

Cashiers are rude and self checkout wardens are even worse. Went through a regular checkout and the cashier said he doesn't bag groceries. Played on his phone while my daughter and me bagged our groceries. I asked for a manager and was told they are in meeting. Also neighbors kid used to work there, front house manager(in a text message said you need to choose work or school, you can't afford not to work.) The kid is 15 and it's her 1st job. Needles and crack pipes in the parking lot and grocery getters will run you over.

I love this location (Lakeside, Salem VA). It is clean and well organized. Employees are helpful and friendly. I look forward mostly to seeing Rachel. She is so helpful, knowledgable and kind. She was the first friendly face I met there 30 years ago, and has never wavered. 👍

This store is so horribly mismanaged- not to mention filthy, understaffed, and run down. What is going on with Kroger? I've never seen so many of their stores in such a state of disaster.

Your pharmacist is rude and laughed in my face when I handed them a written prescription for my boyfriend’s medication I was trying to pick up before he got out of surgery. The doctors system was down so they had to do it old school. She was also rude to the kind nurse that called to get it sorted out. I understand there are times to be skeptical of scams but I felt undermined and stupid. Several other customers around me were also experiencing the same kind of attitude that she was exuding. I get that people have bad days but that doesn’t mean you take it out at your job. Everyone should be treated with kindness and respect and I would think twice about keeping your current “pharmacist”. I was never rude to her but she continued to be snide and act like I was some sort of drug addict trying to swindle her. Sad. Will not be back to your pharmacy! Otherwise I love this Kroger and those who work there are always helpful and kind. All the other people that work at the pharmacy are good as well I just feel bad for those who have to work under her. Thanks!

I like krogers but this is insain at 10 a.m. a million people lined up half of self check outs closed only 3 open to be exact and two people running registers! Come on I know noone wants to work but for the love of God let management kick in and help! You got slow employees and slow baggers and empty registers this is really sad!!! Stop trying to save money and hire people!!! No wonder the economy sucks!

Never shopping here unless it’s an emergency. Prices are soo high. After checking out my own groceries waited for someone to help with checking out alcohol which took about 10 minutes for myself and another customer next to me. Then I get to the door and then am surprised to find they now have locking features on the cart wheels I guess to make sure we didn’t steal any groceries after bagging them ourselves … for free. Of courseIhad no idea so I’m checking to see if I rolled over something or the wheels are broken - nope so then a girl comes out and act like like I’m the idiot - grear experience and you’ve lost a customer

It's my closest grocery store, but i don't want to shop here. Always understaffed and of half the uscans that are turned on, have problems. Wait sometimes in ridiculous lines to check yourself out and then need assistance when the machine inevitably has a hiccup. More waiting. Need deli or meats. Waiting. Produce look ragged and half rotten sometimes, meats hardly stay to good till expiration date, if they even happen to have meat on stock. Several times, I've come to buy a steak to find the meat section barren. Management at some level is making decisions that are losing customers. The employees are great, just understaffed and overworked. At least you can still find employees at a food lion, and they dont seem overburdened.

Went cashier-LESS there for a while. So I have avoided them but my wife wanted some of the tiny cocktail shrimp that only Krogers carries. They had the shrimp AND CASHIERS!

This Kroger used to have an organic section that felt luxurious and looked so nice and they tore the whole thing down... They moved the olipops and health drinks too. So now I have no reason to come to this Kroger over the one in Salem... They really shot themselves in the foot by changing their superior layout and I hope with enough feedback they'll change it back or upgrade. Having a seperate organic section was SUCH a high note.

Well for one thing your trying to fix something that wasn't broke and made it worse can't find a damn thing and being going on for awhile now .went in there today and you are rearranging things again that you just rearranged. You have sale on a item that's not communicating with the register. It's all mess . Prices are too high to deal with this .you were my grocery store for 40 years 😔 for the way it is now can't find a damn thing .just put it back..

This kroger has the worst employees. Not to mention they consistently close 10 to 15 minutes early turning people away from the door. Store closes at 11. Not 10:45. Has consistently been a problem. People have the right to get thier last minute items especially when they get here on time.take your business to main Street. Or food lion. This kroger don't care about what they do.

Waiting on our online grocery order for over 30 minutes is absolutely insane!? What is the point of ordering online if you have to wait that long? I might as well have done the shopping myself. This Kroger has been and continues to be a huge disappointment! I hold the upper level management responsible. Their employment simply is due to the fact that people have to eat. Certainly not because of performance.
