This place is a dump, and my dad has found severed fingers on multiple occasions in and around the store. But 1 man is the sole reason why I'm giving this a review in the first place. Mike in the meat department is THE MAN! I was struggling to find a peticular meat product and while he noticed me while he was taking care of some duties, came from the back, ask if I needed help, told him what I was looking for (the item was gone from the cooler), and went in the back to look for it and brought it out to me. I have honestly never seen this amount of dedication to customer service. The great guy deserves an instant raise. Shout out to the nice lady at the checkout lane. I wish I could remember your name

Great job consistently marking down the prices of items for sale, congruently aligning the profit margin to the "sell by", or "use by" dates (on fresh food items ESPECIALLY!) Some people- (most Definitely including Me), depend on (& purchase) such things...matter of fact, 🤔I am definitely one Extremely Grateful such person. Thank you Very Much🙌🙏😇🫡It makes a difference. This store is an embarrassment. There is always trash on the ground when you walk into the entrances. The bottle return area is is even worse. The machines look like they haven't been cleaned in years, and they always seem to be full or broken. You almost feel like you need a tetanus shot after returning your cans and bottles. You have to make sure you check the expiration dates of shelf items, and thoroughly examine the produce (I have found mold on fruit multiple times). There are hardly any cashier lanes open during busy hours and long lines for the self checkout. Panhandlers are always prowling the parking lot. I have seen on many occasions, employees goofing off, when customers are trying to pay or do something else. The only reason I have to tolerate going to this place is because it is the only grocer that is close by, and carries the basic groceries I need that's not a complete rip off like CVS or QD. However, I honestly can't think of a time I went to this place and didn't have a miserable experience.

Worst store around I would rather drive 15 miles outa my way.always in line 20 minutes or more .self checkout lines is miserable.theres like 5+ checkout lanes always closed.they won't cash checks as advertised.custmoer service,is horrible.store smells like rotten something.

My review is gone. I just posted it 2 weeks ago. I went into there high prices,way higher than Meijers and all because of there theft problems.lve paid higher prices for years and kept track, can't do it any more! Down the street I go! Digital coupons are less food item's more everything else l got rid of there app to. Up date every time you want to use it, 5min. Wait.everthing in they store,more,2 dollars more is there favorite!Got to mention there carts,there so nasty there against the law,and that's why inspectors don't go in there,they don't be want to get sick! I grabbed a cart one morning to pick up a couple things and I am pushing it along and I smell something,look down to now I am in bright light and the cart bottom is covered with stinky filth,nasty,-er than nasty so I flipped it up on its back wheels,off to the side as I proceeded out the store,to a near,-by market,cleaner that is. Woozy Mark.....

I will give this Kroger 3 stars it's not my preferred Kroger I like the one in holt better. First off they do not seem to have a lot of the stuff I like to buy at the holt Kroger. I have come here a few times and the store is fine but It would be great if they had more choices and products I want to buy as I live near this Kroger but it's just not as good as other Kroger locations.

Shop early in the day, their shelves are empty after dinner time. Store is not the cleanest compared to all the other Kroger's in Lansing area. Always long lines. Customer Service desk isn't always open either.

Blocking off the entrance 30 minutes to closing is actually crazy. And to not make a clear walking path through the way they want you to go is even crazier. I’m sure everyone here is great but this is a fire hazard and I took this picture at 9:31 pm. Closing time is 10 pm.

Kroger just sold my bf the smallest rotisserie chicken I've ever seen. They are never fully cooked so I always finish cooking it at home and the only one left is super little...... south Kroger sucks and should just close down. Holt Mi Kroger is wayyyyy better.

Kroger has been my Go-To store. And I'm sure it will remain that way. It has everything I need! The meat is affordable compared to other stores and fresh and prices are lower compared to the other stores in the area. I would like to be able to say customer service is great to, but I'd be lying. Some of the cashiers that work there are absolutely rude and for no reason.
