The Kohl's in Middletown was very dirty. I actually took pics of the dirt on the floor of the woman's dressing room! The one in DE was total opposite!

You need retail associates more readily available to assist customers. The sales signs need to work so that you don't have to wait for checkout to get the price of an item.

Great store, had everything I wanted or needed. Prices were very good and staff really helped when I needed it. I asked about a petite section, the associate took me right to the section. I really appreciated it, I did not have to find it on my own. They had a great selection. I will definitely be shopping there again.

Sold me expired vitamins and would not take them back unless I drove an hour back to the store to return them. There goes 15 bucks. UPDATE: Manager reached out to me thru this review, she was very professional and gave me the full refund without having to drive an hour there and back. Thank you very much.

Kinda disappointed with their mens clothing choices. Update 8/22/2021. Shoe shopping for men. Low inventory did not have my size. Update 9/17/2022. Abita better shopping experience. Seems like the store is improving. However women clothing is very disorganized.

Returning Amazon purchases here at Kohl's. Very pleasant experience. They had someone (i believe a manager) at the entrance to greet and guide. Very effortless process, quick and safe. They have a very clean location. They have sanitation stations at the entrance and throughout the location to protect customers from coronavirus and other germs. The Amazon return station is all the way at the back of the store towards the left. Just show them your Amazon return QR code, they'll scan the code and quickly confirm the product. Once the return is confirmed, they'll print out a confirmation code with an in-store 15% coupon! Everyone wins.

Always a pleasure shopping at Kohl's. This trip, late evening, the store was a bit untidy and very few staff. No lines, and cashier was very attentive. Kohl's... you need more associates.

That was the most pathetic Kohl’s I have ever been in! Shoes were ransacked! Areas of the store completely bare?! One register open. 40$ for a pair of women’s THIN pajamas for the winter? Some items not marked. Sales were not great- slim pickings. Clearance areas left with broken items, sticky, opened food?! Not a chance! Sad, you used to be worth the drive, time, and money.

My family of three and I experienced what felt like racial profiling during our recent visit. As a Black family, we were followed almost immediately after entering the store by an older white female associate, who stayed within a few feet of us the entire time we shopped in the girls’ section. Her behavior made us feel targeted and uncomfortable. At checkout, the cashier made an unnecessary joke about our family size of three and then mocked my name, assuming it was French. Even after I explained that it’s German, he continued to make undermining remarks under his breath. The only positive part of our visit was that Kohl’s carries the nostalgic brand we came specifically to purchase. However, the overall experience left us feeling watched, disrespected, and unwelcome.

Bad review for night time: was in there around 11:25 to 11:30 pm and then was heading up to the register about 5 minutes before. The speaker said the register was closing at 12 and then this guy was witching at me cause he said he told me before I came in so I just walked out and didn't purchase anything! He was super rude and was treating me shitty! He lost 100 dollars in business! He was rude and didn't embody customer service need to get rid of him

Great service by Courtney at the Kohl's last Sunday. I saw a small storage footstool in the home section but couldn't find a price on the piece. Courtney walked back with me, checked it out and came up with a price. She alerted me to a coupon that would give me 15% off, carried it to the register, gave the cashier the information on the price as it didn't have any tags, waited to make sure I got the discount, carried it to my car and loaded it for me. Thank you so much for the excellent service! Great employee!

I went to Kohls in Dover on 12-12-25. The store was a mess all the clothing on tables were thrown in a pile all over the store. Nothing was in any type of order. Most of the colths on the hangers was not in any order. When I shop for things I do not want to feel like I am shopping out of some one's laundry room floor. The one line they had was long and slow. I left instead of buying anything. The new check out they have makes it feel like a Five Below or Home Goods Store discount store (which is in better order than Kohls). I do not see myself ever going back to Kohls again. This is not the first time I tried to shop at Kohls and it was like this.

Made an Amazon return and received a coupon. Figured I’d grab myself a sweater but didn’t meet the minimum for the coupon so I grabbed a few needed things at check out and was told at the check out that “impulse buys” don’t count for the coupon along with many other brands and that I can go “try again”. Try again? This isn’t super market sweep. Put up a sign or put it on the coupon. I also went on the website for the coupon and there is a list of brands but who has time to check every brand with a brand you pick up in store? Terrible customer service in store as well as rude customer service I received online as well. I used to love kohls. As a mom, I only have a certain amount of time to be out of the house to shop- I don’t have time to “try again”.

First time at this Kohl's location. It's a little tucked back off Dupont Highway, but if you look closely, you'll see the sign. Like other Kohl's, this has a Sephora inside of it. The store was spacious and with decent sales. The store is clean and well stocked. The Sephora was very nice and independently run. If you time it right you can get some really good sales at Kohl's at 70% off.
