Do not waste your money on the car wash in the rear of property. Rude employee and an incomplete car wash, soap left on vehicle and areas not cleaned. For $20 there are several other places that do better work and are not rude.

I always do self service wash. Sometimes the machine charges my card $4. Sometimes it charges $10!! For a 5 minute wash! I need to speak to someone about this. At first I thought it was a fluke but it's Happening all the time now !!!

I would like to know why when I did the self service it was charged $10 for 5 min. FYI some of us ppl get text about ever single transaction done on our cards and your stealing from ppl by charging $10 when your machine CLEARLY SAYS $3 for 5 MIN. I WILL BE CALLING FOR A FULL REFUND OR I WILL CONTACT THE BBB or even a lawyer. Im that petty

Very JZI ... Not fancy like what you can get on JI or WA these days. A couple of bays + the drive thru wash. It does the trick. And I swear to God, the vacuums could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch 😘

It's a car wash... 4 bays for DIY washes and a basic touch less drive-thru option. Vacuums available. $3 cash to start the diy gets you about 3 minutes. $10 is about what I spent in quarters when I was all done. Truck was really dirty so I ended up missing some spots in my haste. The brush was really wore out so didn't make great contact, but the foam did come out of it. All the spray options I used worked on the dial, so that was a win. Overall a good experience, I will bring my own brush next time though.

This is by far the best exterior car wash in Charleston... possibly the best in South Carolina. The guys who run this place will literally hand wash and scrub everything on the outside of your car. My car was FILTHY, after a year of neglect and no washes. When he was done, he let me know they had to "upcharge me" only $5... I felt bad cause I was expecting a lot more for the upcharge, so I tipped well. Every single time I go through a laserwash or Cactus or anywhere else around here, I have to come home and wipe dirt off areas that were missed. The gentleman who cleaned my car today spent 20 mins scrubbing and powerwashing my entire car, even the roof. No spots were missed, and I took 4 or 5 trips around the car inspecting it. I am honestly speechless, this was the best $20 I have ever spent. BTW, if you have aftermarket wheels, or prefer touchless washes, this is perfect for you. They clean your entire wheels, including the inner drum portions where all the brake dust builds up. 5 stars all day!!!!

Just left John’s Island Car Wash and had to leave a 5-star review. The owner, Elliot, is super friendly and you can tell he takes pride in the place. They actually pre-wash your vehicle before you go through the machine, which makes a big difference. My wheels and tires come out looking better than anywhere else I’ve been—I don’t know what they use on them, but it works. The wash also cleans the undercarriage, which is perfect when my truck is caked in dirt. Highly recommend if you want a thorough, quality wash.
