I came by because I'm missing my hood latch and a connector on my bumper that makes it slide off on one side and I was told in order to evaluate it was going to be six to seven hundred dollars just to look at the vehicle and that I should send my car back to the dealership immediately! I told him that I was disappointed that he didn't want to do business with me and I left. The lady up front was super sweet but I feel bad for her working with a bunch of arrogant jerks like that! I'm glad I didn't give them a dime of the money coming from my dealer!

I went there to get a estimate for my vehicle and the person talk himself out of my business. I guess he assumed I could not afford the repair cost. I guess my 2005 ford truck wasn't worth working on. All I wanted was a estimate so I could bring my truck back to get repaired. I guess if you are Black and not driving a Mercedes Joe Stewart Body Shop don't want your business. I don't need a business to tell me what they would not spend on my vehicle to be repaired.

My Husband and I have used this Body Shop for years. They are Outstanding and they Specialize in being Perfect. Bryan worked on this car for us and it looks Brand New. All the people that work there are Super Friendly and understand how you feel when it comes to your Automobiles❤️ ** Side Note- we have to remember the times that we are living in. It is hard to get anything right now. Be patient. It may take awhile. They are doing the best they can to get what is needed.

DO NOT GO HERE. They quoted my friend $2,900 on the same job that another body shop quoted $750. Probably because a young woman was the one needing help and they thought they could take advantage of her situation. On their quote was 10.5 hours of body labor, the other shop quoted 0.9 hours. Their quote for paint labor was 8.5 hours, the other shop 1.4 hours. Just a complete scam top to bottom of that sheet, made me furious.

Best body shop in the area. Best work and fast. Straight forward , no playing game, no bait and switch. I got a quote before the work started and I was skeptical because it was a lot lower than what the other body shops charged. A very nice surprise, because I didn’t pay more than I was quoted and I didn’t have to wait weeks for my car to be ready .Very fast turn around time.Best customer service. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Joe Stewart Body shop has always taken care of us when we needed body work done to our vehicles. My wife was hit and some severe damage was done to our car. The other driver admitted fault and so their insurance paid for the repairs, but didn't make it easy. Johnathan has been in the industry for over 40 yrs and fought hard for us to get what we were owed from the insurance company. He routinely called me with updates and projections of how much longer the process would take. When the vehicle was ready for pick up it was clean inside AND out! Johnathan was even kind enough to wave the additional labor charges the insurance company wouldn't pay for. Trust me when I say, don't bother going anywhere else in Memphis.

Well, unfortunately have to leave a negative review. Brought my 2022 Mustang with 900 miles to have an aftermarket hood painted in Mischievous Purple. The quote I was given was extremely high but was assured they had the abilities and tools to compete the job as well as being highly recommended. After 2 weeks, I was called and told the car was ready for pick up. I picked the car up late in the day and drove the 30 mins home. The next day I pulled the car out of the garage into the sun to see huge imperfections in the paint. Sent videos and photos and ended up driving the car back. Painter stated he couldn't see the imperfections and that they weren't there when he completed the paint. Painter then says the only thing he can do is repaint. Painter repaints the car and says it's ready for pick up again. This time I show up in the day and point out the imperfections. Painter states he doesn't know what the issue is or why it's happening. Says once again, the only thing he can do is repaint it. I offered suggestions and tried to promote thoughtful conversation which was met with anger and deflection. Painter repaints again and the imperfections exist again. Sends me a video showing the same issues and apologizes. I call to speak to the shop manager about the issue and find out the Painter has told him everything is good and no issues exist. I ask the manager why he isn't communicating and the manager says he doesn't know why the lead shop Painter isn't communicating. The manager apologizes for the issues and says he will speak to the owner about what he can do to make it right. Two days later, I am called and told that I have a check waiting for me for a "refund". This check is to the sum of 1/4th of what i paid. So now I have to find another shop in the summer and again pay full price to have the hood painted. I wasn't expecting a full refund as they had to do a little prep on the new hood but 1/4th is unacceptable. I would not suggest anyone use this body shop. No communicating, poor attitude, over priced for their quality and poor location.

First off, I want to make sure I give some back story. I was having some issues with what the insurance quoted me to get the car fixed so I stopped by Joe Stewart body shop and spoke with Heath. He never once made me feel like I was stupid or did not know what I was talking about he listen and communicated what I needed to know. During this whole process he was extremely helpful communicative and helped me deal with the insurance company. I work alot and travel a lot so this was extremely helpful. The body work was handled with utmost care and you can tell they take pride in what they do. I picked up my car and there was something I did not expect. They even cleaned out my car and organized my stuff. I am a working mom and I travel alot for work. This made my day. The lady that cleaned my car did a great job and I appreciate it so much. Giving the customer the small things makes a difference. Definitely recommend and will be going back if I have any body work that needs to be done. I really appreciate you Heath Kreiner!!

🔧 Very disappointing experience with this garage. I took my car in after a collision on the left side of the bumper. The garage removed some parts to assess the damage and provide an estimate for the insurance company. The insurance later refused to cover the full repair cost and offered me a settlement amount for the car. So far, everything was understandable. But what really shocked me was that the garage took almost $7,000 from the insurance check just for the estimate, without doing any actual repairs. That’s outrageous and extremely abusive. On top of that: • They never returned the parts they removed from my car, many of which were still reusable. This makes me believe they may have reused or resold them elsewhere. • No communication: once they got the money, they stopped responding. Johnny no longer answers calls or emails. • Their way of doing business lacks transparency, respect, and any sense of professionalism. As someone who’s used to working with cars, I was truly shocked by how they take advantage of people. I would never go back and strongly advise others to stay away from this place. I’ve since met others who had similar experiences with them. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through this. We are now planning to take legal action as a group.
