I took my car here for some damage inside the car as well as a busted out window due to attempted theft. When I received my car back there was damage to the paint on my back bumper. Kinda strange because they didn’t even work on that part of the car. I contacted Nick (the service manager) and he proceeded to tell me that there is no way that happened there. My car had no damage to that area prior to going there. Nick stated that they are not responsible for someone’s else’s poor paint job. He said my car must have been in an accident prior to me buying it. He also stated that my bumper was going to start peeling in about a year anyways. He said he reviewed the photos they took when my car arrived and the damage was already there. Basically calling me liar when he in fact one was the who was lacking integrity for a mistake his shop made. I called my claims department and I had them email me all the photos this shop took the day my car arrived and you can clearly see the damage is not there. I already knew that though because I keep my car in great condition. After arguing with me for almost 10 minutes on the phone and telling me a little soap and water couldn’t of done that he agreed to fix the damage, however he made it clear that it wouldn’t be under any warranty and that the rest of my bumper will peel in a year anyway. I was blown away by his rudeness and him insinuating I was lying and attempting to lie himself to get out of fixing it.After considerable thought I have decided not to take my car back because I do not trust him or this shop. Unfortunately my car will be left with this damage and this was part of my daughters 18th birthday present. I do not recommend going her and upon reading more reviews I am not the first person this has happen to. Unfortunately not everyone has integrity in the world so be careful of who you allow to work on your vehicles. In response as you can see he is still assuming my car had some previous damage to blame on what was caused by his shop. He has no idea if my car was ever damaged and when I purchased it from a dealership it had never been in an accident. You have a nice day too sir.

I am very happy with the service I received from High Desert Auto Body. When I arrived, I was attended to promptly and in a friendly manner. So Im Typically Not into Submitting Reviews Just Because it takes so much time and effort When you are Constantly busy with Family and Work …. This situation puts me in a bind because I decided to Take my business to HD auto only to end up here on this review platform. So The Wife picked up The Car like 2 weeks ago not being present as the husband because of work turns out That I noticed on the weekend after when I was rotating the tires that I found a stain of some type of oil wax not sure but in the sunlight it was evident that the side passenger had major stains from this liquid … took me another week to make the call being busy and all so 2 weeks later here I am on the Phone With The Manager Nick Ryan Has the Nerve To Insult Me and Say that I’m Lying about the whole situation that something like that don’t happen at his shop So In Other Words I’m lying and trying to get a free service from them after They Charged The Insurance 9k Plus … Overall I will not take my business or recommend this Shop / business Until They Learn To treat a Customer Like Before Business was Even agreed on … I will add More pictures when the wife gets Home

They did an awesome job on my vehicle. I love the fact that they restored the car to the pre-collision state, an assurance which is stated on their website. Nick was totally transparent throughout the entire process and Vanessa kept me in the loop on the status of the car every few weeks. It took about 7 weeks to finish although it could have been finished earlier if not for one of the technicians who took some time off work. Overall, I love my post-collision car haha and I definitely would refer anyone to High desert autobody because of their sheer professionalism and finesse.
