They're under construction, but it's still not bad finding what you need. Pretty easy to spot the employees among the construction guys, and the HF folks are always eager to help. Prices are great and quality has really went up in recent years. There's not too many things I'll shell out for name brand stuff and you can find most anything you need in HF these days. 12/10 would recommend.

Harbor freight tools is pretty awesome. They don't have the highest highest quality of stuff like snap-on but it's not garbage. All of the stuff there is very well priced. And if you get something that's bad they're asking about taking it back and trading it for another one or giving you your money back. I'll definitely be back there again many times before I die.

Associates have been knowledgeable and helpful in every interaction. I don't think I've ever gone in and found the item I was looking at online out of stock in store. I enjoy harbor freight as a closer alternative for me than Walmart. Often times when I know the tool will only be used once every five years I buy an item from hf. I'll be honest some of the more complex items run into longevity issues but then again they're probably being used for too many applications and just decide to show their value. Don't forget to look them up online! There's usually some sort of coupon you can take advantage of for free item with every purchase. Need a couple tarps? Make a couple trips! I also suggest signing up for the membership card. It takes receipts for you, and you can get some random coupons and discounts sometimes when you go shopping. Who doesn't like a free surprise?

In my experience the stuff you can get here is not pro quality, but I often buy a tool here if I need it for a special use since it is often much cheaper than name brand tools. For one time, or occasional, use their tools can be good values. I buy name brand tools when I want longevity and durability for more regular uses.

The manager was great. As well as the cashier. What I'm not happy with is the fact I have not gotten my online order at all. I had to go out during Covid19 2x and buy what I ordered. And have not been refunded my money.

I love this store. You can pretty much find any tool you are looking for here, even those pesky hard to find specialty tools. The staffs super helpful and kind. I am always greeted with a smile and a warm hello. The staff is also very knowledgable and always able and willing to answer all of my million and one questions (even the seemingly simple and stupid ones) their products are well made and a great value. The inside track club is also well worth the $30 per year. I save more than that in a single month usually. They never make me feel like my questions are stupid and always ready with some great advice from real world experiences and stories.

We ordered a band saw, and it took me forever to actually get the details to get the item. I was picking up for my uncle, and so I had very little information. But the lines were long and very time. I had a question I had to stand in line again. However, the people who loaded it into my car were very nice.

PROS ---> You can't get less expensive tools in Bend ---> Great return policy ---> Helpful staff CONS ---> The tools don't last ---> Not much in the way of outdoor/ landscaping tools TIPS I buy their tools knowing they won't last- I buy a new 6' level for example, it's perfect for that one job and then I give it away. $13 per level.

I always love going into Harbor Freight. The only thing I wish is that it was bigger. The people there are always smiling and kind. We picked up another hitch thing for our SUV for our move, and they even went the extra mile to help me prove I was right and my husband was wrong — which gave us all a good laugh. My youngest fell while we were there, and the staff were genuinely concerned and checked on her. Good people. Good selection. My go-to.
