I have read many reviews of him scheduling months out at a time and then canceling right before the appointment. I decided to give him a chance anyways - was a huge mistake. He said the typical “he had an emergency” which I’ve read in several other reviews. He is a scammer. Will take your money and does not do the job. Please do not purchase this

Mr. Tyrone did an amazing job with our two vehicles! Our cars were very well taken care of and even the smallest crevices were cleaned and left spotless! Definitely recommend and will use again for any car detailing needs!

Bought a Groupon for car detailing, set up an appointment and the guy never showed or called to say they weren't coming. Since then have contacted them multiple times in attempt to reschedule, been over a month now still no show no call back.

Tyrone came late and I left my keys in the car so he could get in and out. I did not give him permission to drive it and he ran my car into the side of my house, damaging both the house and the car. He said he didn't want to go through insurance and gave me his word that he would pay for the damage and then never responded to my messages. This man is a fraud and has no integrity.

Bought a groupon for a car detailing. He did a terrible job. There were grease spots on the exterior. The car finish looked dull and looked like it had not been waxed. There was chemical residue on the steering wheel. The wheels were not touched. The carpet in the back was not vacuumed. When I pointed out problems, he just folded his arms. Never using this guy again. I am calling groupon to complain.

Purchased a Groupon. He was almost two months out. The day of my appointment he was a no show. Would not reply to my email. Could not get ahold of the company. After reading other reviews and also on Yelp seems this company is known for conducting business this way or the lack thereof. Groupon shows positive and rave reviews so beware!

Never showed up for the appointment he rescheduled to have. Had to text to see if he was still on his way-claimed he was in an accident, but would be late. Late turned into a no call/no show! Biggest pet peeve as a business owner is NOT calling or following up with your prospective customers. NEVER AGAIN will I consider or recommend his services.

Got a Groupon as a gift, here's my issues 1) first appointment I could get was over a month away. 2) after waiting a month, he showed up late and wanted to was the car in the rain. Rescheduled for TWO WEEKS later 3) never showed up or answered his phone to the rescheduled appointment!

Bought a groupon. Don't waste your money. The only available appointment was one month later. On the day of the appointment he was one hour late. In the 2 hours he was here he, washed my truck with a brush, did no buffing or wax at all. Didn't clean the rims (but sprayed on a lot of tire wet). I ran my fingers on the interior door panels and left lines in the dust that was still there. Leaves and debris were under the seats. For some reason all the seats were wet . This was AT BEST a $10 gas station car wash. Not in any way a "professional detail".

In reading these reviews, Tyrone — if that’s even his name — is up to his same tricks! I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing a Groupon. (The glowing Groupon reviews must be lies.) Contacted him for an appointment and he wanted me to wait 30 days because he “had so many requests.” Fine, I can be reasonable so I made an appointment. Appointment day comes and — nothing. He doesn’t show. He doesn’t answer his phone. He doesn’t respond to texts. A week later, he texts me and asks me to reschedule for another 30 days out! (No apologies, nothing.) Are you kidding me? I’m not a fool! I tell him no and call out the ridiculousness of even asking that. Suddenly he had a family emergency and lost his phone. Yeah. Likely story. Reported to Groupon as a scam.

First show of a lack of professionalism, Tyrone showed up AN HOUR early! Some people might consider that a good thing but I have a life and schedule and would have expected a courtesy call if he was changing the appointment time by that much. He then did a terrible job cleaning it. I won’t call it detailing because all details were ignored. I have a newer vehicle and drive for Lyft so my vehicle is always kept in a fairly clean condition with nothing in it except for papers in the glove box. I even have rubber mats on the floor. It would have been easy for him to “gloss” up if Tyrone had made the effort but he didn’t. The inside looks like he just wiped down some parts but the crevices still have dust and where he did wipe has bits of fuzz here and there. Nothing is shiny, there is no gloss to it. I have leather interior and it looked no different than when he started. He certainly didn’t wash or condition the seats, it looks like he barely wiped them. The interior looks better when I do it myself. He did a bit of vacuuming but again, just the obvious surfaces. He did nothing with the rubber mats and didn’t bother to vacuum under the carpet ones or in the crevices in the floorboard. Nothing was shampooed. The outside was washed but not any better than a drive through car wash would do. Of course, when someone is providing service in the driveway of your home, you don’t confront them. Particularly as a female living alone. I doubt he would have responded to any sort of request for additional work, he seemed rushed, distracted and indifferent. Perhaps he was having a bad day but he certainly didn’t provide any kind of professional service to me. This was truly a waste of my time and money.

I purchased a Groupon in March and at the time the first available appointment was in May, which was fine. I set up an appointment for June. That appointment had to be rescheduled because the owner had a flat tire. The next appointment, he showed up 2.5 hours early because he didn't have the time correct and I wasn't at the location. At the actual time of the appointment, he said he had a flat. I do hate to waste money and I like to support black owned businesses; however, I'm disappointed in my experience with just trying to get an appointment set up. I have no idea and may never know what the actual level of services provided by Gloss Mobile Detailing.

I got a Groupon and had Tyrone come out several times. I was a repeat customer until he drove my car (when he was not authorized to do so) into a pole. He told me he would cover the damages and that he was a man of his word and had the integrity of his business to worry about. He never responded to my calls or texts after seeing the quote for the damages. Do not trust this man with your vehicle.
