Just stopped in real quick for a water! Very big and clean grocery store. I was biking past the Giant on my return back by it so I had to stop. Genuinely nice employees too. Great job Giant!!! I love this Giant! I have never seen it crowded and the store is pretty big!

Every time that I have used self checkout there is a problem. Only at Giant does the self-checkout call for assistance because I moved the bag a few inches so I can bag more. Your employees are RUDE and CONDESCENDING!! When one of your cashiers that was manning the self checkout area came over to me she had an attitude and said “there are bigger things to get upset about” when clearing the code on the register. Either fix your incompetent registers or staff. Extremely disappointed with your high prices, unprofessional and snarky staff, glitchy self-checkout and lack of staff training.

This is my go to grocery store in Frederick, Maryland. It’s stocked with an ample selection of fresh vegetables, seasonal treats, fresh bakery items and a large self-service check-out section to speed up your purchase experience. Great Customer Service department with several knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff.

I have been coming to this location since I moved to the area back in 2001 and there are several grocery stores that are within a 2 mile radius from my home but I keep finding myself going to Giant. The store is always very clean and organized so it is easy for me to find whatever it is that I may be looking for and I definitely appreciate their large selection of fresh produce. To top it off I am always greeted upon entering, and they have the sweetest, most professional cashiers as well as management.

Disgustingly Overpriced, Low quality eggs (old), low quality produce, low quality meat, this place is honestly maddening. every steak you buy here is 100% guaranteed to be cut right next to the bone (meaning its full of sinew and tendon). I needed one aluminum take-away tray for a dish i was making for a potluck, it was 11 dollars for ONE tray which is maybe 25 cents worth of aluminum This is the greediest food chain in the area and unless you are shopping at the Urbana location you can expect to get all of the run-off products and rejects. You'll find better quality at Aldi Horrible value, for extremely low quality ingredients

Don’t waste your time with the food pickup service. Have had my order canceled mins before pickup time. Complete my order and leave me on hold until I walk in and the guy come up to me saying I was just outside when I just walked in. Why even lie? Poor lady behind the service counter helped but she can only do so much when kids wanna slack off

I usually find what I need. Staff are usually friendly. The lady behind the Lottery counter, which is in front of the checkout cashier stations, is so loud but humorous and entertaining. I understand why razors cost so much but my only problem is that there is never a good variety of mens shaving razors. Ive been going here for more than 3 years since I moved in the area, and I may find one kind of refill razors. Then the price is awfully high.

A classic supermarket. Wide selection of dry goods, limited fresh produce, decent dairy, fair meat and fish. Be aware that they tend to advertise onerype of hround beef with a lower price but place a more expensive productt in the bin while there actually isn't any of the advertised product available.

Hi! I’m a FIRM believer in giving credit when credit is due AND acknowledgement for a GREAT work ethic (very rare these days). VALERIE is quite fantastic. I live in the neighborhood and shop at the New Design Giant quite often. Whether she is checking people out or at the self checkout area, she has always been most helpful and seems to always “go the extra mile” to be of service in any way she can. I SO appreciate this and I’m sure others do too. Like I said, I’m in the store often so to see this consistency and to take notice of it and then prompt me to write a review, well, that should definitely be a sign to management. Be kind to her and please give her recognition she deserves!! This means a lot to employees - don’t forget that! Thank you Valerie for trying and making a difference!!

I live near it and it always has what I am looking for within reason. It is easy to navigate aisles and find what I need in a short amount of time. I also have used the pickup option within recent months because I can get what I need without spending much time in the store. Improvement needed is for the ordering process of pick up items. Target tells me how much of a single product is available in inventory for me to purchase. Target also allows me to pick my substitute items for products I ordered that are unavailable. Whereas, you guys do not give me an option of picking my own product substitutions and I have no clue what items are not in stock until my order is completed. Furthermore, unlike your competitor, you charge me for every paper bag used in my order and put only one item in the bag when there are other similar items that could also fit in the bag. Lastly, you choose not to place produce into a plastic bag when purchased. Last week, I received 4 tomatoes on the vine without a plastic bag protecting them. It is a true miracle the tomatoes were not damaged!

When will the salad bar be back? Hot Buffet? Really disappointing that with COVID pandemic ended, the bar hasn’t returned. I have started to shop at another Giant that provides both bar and buffet. Nice atmosphere and they have more and better products.

The staff was friendly and helpful, making my shopping trip quick and pleasant. I especially appreciated the layout of the store, which made it easy to locate the items i need, their organic section, bakery, affordable prices, with my stacked reward points that now last up to ninety (90) day. This is a very nice grocery store, except they do not monitor their parking lot. Allowing people to park on the yellow marked curb. Why???
