You have to sign up for their store card just to use the self-checkouts. Inferior business model. Shop at Weis instead.

1275 w Patrick st. False advertising. If you ask them to honor the guarantee, kitchen staff with threaten you and managers will refuse and say you need to wait half hr.

Purchased 2 crabcakes from the deli , pre-made and cooked counter They were awful !! Mostly filler , the few chunks of crab that were there was so dried out as was the whole crabcake. Very disappointed . Wasted $20.00😳

Easy, not busy Sunday morning, I went in for a few minutes to grab 3 items. A lovely woman, customer was looking for an item for over 10 minutes (I passed by her several times) and finally offered to help when the gentleman in seafood wasnt able to. How disheartening it is to know there are so many staff on their phones and doing various tasks but UNABLE to help an elderly guest IN STORE. Everytime I go out I am appalled by customer service and staff. I work in the same field and I will no longer come back to this store. I waited for "Tina" for over 10 minutes before I decided to write this. Sje was clearly "too busy' as we're the rest of staff including front desk on her phone. Thanks.

Unwelcoming if you have a disability. I was shopping at this location while being accompanied by my service dog. I was followed around the store by the store manager and felt uncomfortable. I suffer from PTSD from being stalked. I took my purchases up to the register and the cashier gave me a dirty look. I ended up leaving my groceries on the conveyer-belt and exiting the store. I will never shop at this location again.

Self checkouts are an absolute pain….you have to have a membership card to even use them and their isn’t an associate to assist. I had only 4 items and had to wait in line behind someone who was getting their entire thanksgiving meal because their were only two cashiers. Seriously do away with the lack of customer service and put more physical people working. Put people to work instead of corporate greed wasting peoples time unnecessarily! It will help the customer experience and economy as a whole. I don’t know why the people who sit in the decision making roles lazily so they can prey and feed off of people think it’s acceptable as any form of human decency.

Solid store, interesting layout as well. Inside is super long so it feels like the store is neverending. They have a great selection and good produce. One of two Giant Eagles in Frederick, a lot of good Pittsburgh products here. Meatloaf is definitely lacking and does not hold the Giant Eagles standard unfortunately

Wonder experience at the hot foods deli today. The employee that helped us was very kind and careful with our food. Her suggestions were spot on. Our first time at this store. Definitely won't be our last. Making this our home store! 👍🏻👍🏻 on the Catfish and fried chicken.

Yesterday my fiancee ordered 12 piece chicken chicken must have been old or outdated it looked darker the wings it was instead of chicken being white all way through some of the meat was dark and it had a distinct taste had both our stomachs hurting afterwards be mindful of your customers seem like we had food poisining just letting you know so got be better and making sure chicken is fresh and up too date not old and outdated. Thanks

I shopped at the Patrick Street location this weekend. I have shopped at this location for at least two decades. I like the selection, the pharmacy, and the customer service desk. I find the people who work there to be good people. Today though, I believe I was racially profiled. I used self checkout to scan and pay for every item, as I always do. As I'm leaving the store, a young Hispanic employee asked to see my receipt. This is usually a Costco thing, but Costco doesn't single out black customers; all receipts are checked. I hung around to see if all shoppers receipts were being checked. They were not. I told the young Hispanic woman that I would leave the store only after I saw her check a white shoppers receipt. At one point, a white woman walked up to voluntarily show her receipt, but I did have a subsequent conversation with a store manager. I am an honest person and have no issue if all receipts are checked. But to single out black shoppers while not asking others to show receipts smacks of racial discrimination. If theft in that location is becoming a problem, be like Costco. Check all receipts from the self checkout lanes, and don't cherry pick. It's not a good look.

Great customer service if you need help, but prices on most everything were much higher than the other stores in the area (Weis, Food Lion) - some items by several dollars each. And yes, I looked for coupons. :)
