Since I am getting my floors redone in my kitchen, pantry and laundry room I have been without a washing machine for a couple of weeks. I decided to use this service because my laundry was piling up. I literally wrote no fragrance/fragrance free and sensitive skin detergent and fabric softener on my order and put a not in my laundry explaining how bad my allergies are and how important it was not to make this mistake. Well lo and behold all of my laundry was washed in some detergent that has fragrance, my face, eyes and nose has been itching since I opened the bags this morning. I am still at square one with no clean clothes. This was a total waste of my time and money. I could have brought a few totals and uniforms for work and just waited. The floor is done now. I have wrote into the owner for an explanation but it's the weekend. The saddest thing was they were so nice over the phone. Nice doesn't count if you make a huge mistake like this.

Yes they pick up your laundry for the wash and fold service and do a great job of folding, my laundry always smelled fresh, and the deliveries were punctual. The problem I had is I was given the run around and played phone tag for months over a laundry load that I was charged for but was never picked up. I still haven't received a refund, credit, or any type of compensation and now unfortunately I don't believe I will continue using them.

I went today and this place is a super laundromat. It’s huge!!!!! The staff is very helpful. I used 1 big washer for $10.50 and I was able to wash 6 sofa pillows with so much extra space and it washed so white. The dryer I used was the 75 load and I dried the 6 pillows for $3.75. It’s 3 min per quarter and you can add as needed.

My dryer broke down in the evening, leaving me with wet laundry. Since it was after 9 PM, I searched for laundromats nearby that were open. I found "Emerald City Wash World," which closed at 10 PM. I needed to dry my clean clothes. When I arrived, the attendant told me that the last drying cycle was at 9 PM. This was my first time at a laundromat, and I did not see this information on their website or anywhere else online. I left and went to another laundromat, where my clothes dried in a large dryer in under 15 minutes. I wouldn’t have gone to this laundromat if they had posted the last drying time online. Last washing time: 8 PM Last drying time: 9 PM

The place has been remodeled so they have new washers and dryers. It's more space. It's very clean and quiet, very efficient. New staff is there and they are very nice and polite and will help you if you need help and the place looks great overall

My family and I moved from TN to Dover DE, in January 2024. While we were waiting for our house, I needed to do some laundry so I googled laundry businesses near me and Emerald City Wash World came up. They opened at 6 am talk about convenience -I loved it.❤️ Upon arrival, I did not have any cash, but their machines were up-to-date so all I had to do was download the app and I was able to wash and dry hassle-free!!!! The staff working was Ms. Debbie, she was friendly and welcoming. We spoke about safety in the area more so she explained to me the importance of being aware of my surroundings and not leaving my property unattended. She shared with me some family photos 😘 Thank you, Ms. Debbie! Great customer service.

Fantastic experience with my first laundry pick-up! I had a massive 90lb load of furniture covers to wash and was impressed right from the start. I dialed the wrong prompt when calling and hung up, but they promptly called me back to assist – excellent service! This is a wonderful family-owned and run business. We use their pick-up and delivery service and could not be happier. Our laundry is returned the next day clean, neatly folded and packed in plastic bags. Any problems, just pick up the phone and talk to someone. Highly recommend!

I came into this laundry mat last week for the 1st time. I have to say, I was impressed! The woman you see in these pictures today was doing the same thing this week as she was last week, cleaning the glass doors, sweeping the rugs and floor, adjusting the rubber the keeps the dryers doors closed and secure while drying, all while saying a quick hello to the frequent and new customers with a friendly, genuine smile. I left this review because people like this caring woman are really hard to find anymore. She truly cares about people and her job. Wish I can clone her for my business! She’s a keeper!
