Employees were helpful but the store seemed disorganized and crowded. One of the two employees I saw working was working hard reorganizing the toy department.

They didn't have a particular item I was looking for which was advertised in their ad. Also the two American ladies at the register were a little rude to me when I asked about the product. Bought cigarettes which the cashier took over 10 minutes to give me because she couldn't get the cigarette case opened. Not a good experience in this particular store.

It's really hot in the store. I think the air was broken that day. Lines to check out are long. One cashier usually. Lots of boxes laying around everywhere. Almost tripped a couple times.

I'm giving DG 5 stars for its hard working, stressed out employees. Let ME tell you what the problem is! I'm an over the road truck driver who trained on the DG account. My oldest daughter was training to be a store manager for them but quit. Not because she didn't like the people or job but the stress! Us drivers would show up at the stores with there delivers. Sometimes half or a 3rd of the trailer per store. Everything is pushed into the back room that most often isn't big enough because each store sells so much. The employees have to take care of the customers, stock shelves, and run register at same time. There is no time to stock! My daughter got written up twice for closing store at night and working off the clock to try and get store organized. She has OCD. It's not within her to walk away from a job unfinished. Most of the, during the day time, there is one cashier, a manager, and one other person to stock shelves AND they have to back up the cashier if needed. The managers run crazy trying to help in every area. Just put yourself in their shoes. Next time you go inside and see all that stuff in those carts. Just imagine it was your job to put all that away. You have one maybe 2 days until next truck comes in. The best way to beat this problem is do like Walmart and Home Depot. Have a night crew!!! They wouldn't have to deal with customers or money! JUST STOCK!! This way every store would be fully stocked when opening first thing each day. The day time employees would only have to deal with customers and maybe, just maybe a few items that didn't get done. It's time for DG to step it up and hire more people to better serve YOU!! In the long run DG would increase there profits! It's working for Walmart and Home Depot! Look at there quarterly sale.

This place is awful. I often go here because its close to my home, but its hit or miss whether they will be open or not. They apparently view the business hours as a suggestion and close whenever they feel like it. On one occasion, on my way home i stopped in 30 minutes before closing just to grab a jug of milk. The manager rudely yells across the store that i have only 10 minutes to shop. Other times they have closed many hours early. I now am willing to go out of my way to find another store.

Two months ago i gave this store a amazing review but now im not so sure. Everyone is kind hearted and helpful exept the Manager. She has a awful attitude for reason unknown which should never be in a public work space. She accuses a fellow customer for stealing ice when they didn't then proceeded to tell that customer to "never come back". I really hope the CEO of the company sees this. The customer service this manager gives is not how a DG should be operated

I just left here and they say it doesn’t have a bathroom. Let them come and see the sign on the bathroom door, but for some personal reason the workers didn’t feel like letting me into the bathroom

If I could give a negative star for this I would. The Isles are completely over crowded with all of their inventory that has not been put away and the shelves are bare. I would be considerate of the fact that it's just time to put their inventory away but I've been in there three times over the past 2 weeks and it hasn't changed. It's getting to the point that you can't even get down the aisle and I've had to go to other store such as tonight to purchase items that I'm certain are sitting there still in boxes waiting to be shelved. I have photos to send on to corp if I can

Five Stars for Employee Isaiah today! I received absolutely stellar service at this DG, today, on a Sunday afternoon. I walked in, slightly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of inventory-- seriously, if there's a Guinness World record for "most stuff crammed into one store," this place is a contender. Enter Isaiah, the real MVP. I needed two specific items, including long-handled matches. Not only did he know exactly where the two random items I needed were located, he actually walked me to them like a seasoned treasure hunter leading me to buried gold. No map, no GPS -- just pure aisle-ninja instincts! Thank you Isaiah!

Terrible experience! Arrived at the store 10 minutes before close and door was already locked. Two cashiers were in the store, in full cleaning mode trying to close as fast as they could. We knocked on the door, ask if we could come in and just quickly buy a pack of hearing aid batteries, but were rudely dismissed and refused service by lead cashier. I tried to explain to him that my son was disabled and deaf, and was in dire need of hearing aid batteries so that he could hea,r but he still refused us service, never unlocked the door, and wouldn't even lookback in our direction. It seems to me that this store is very discriminatory against disabled customers, and instead of being helpful and providing quality customer service they rudely dismiss them, and inhumanely treat them like they are nothing. I I'm going to contact corporate, and make it a point to have this store on the radar and hopefully these employees can be retrained or dismissed for their behavior. It is uncalled for to treat people in such a way, it caused an unnecessary panic attack and severe anxiety for my son and for myself. We went from a Good Friday evening, to a miserable experience and an early night to bed. Boo to you Dollar general for not training your employees better, and teaching them that customer service is the number one priority when you work in retail. Be glad you got the one star, Dollar General. It is more than you deserve. Do better!
