This place is seriously a hit or miss. Either management changes a lot or their turnover is super high. At times the place is well stocked and the cashiers are super friendly, or it's a disaster wasteland and the poor cashier looks like their a step away from a break down.

7/11/17 Seven evening Black girl at register dumped our basket of items some Liquid onto the counter upside down instead of taking items out of small basket one at a time. Could have danaged merchandise causing us to have to go back through store and get knew items. Costing the store a couple lost in funds. Then she started to put all items in one bag it would have been very heavy and the bag would not have held up !!!!!. I told her to separate the items into two bags and I had to tell her three, three, three Times to get her to understand. 🙁

I enjoy Dollar General stores because I do not always know what they are going to have available, nor do I know what will be on sale. This gives me a little sense of mystery before going in the store. Also it seems to me that different Dollar General stores have slightly different types of items. Making it even more fun.

Convenient shopping good deals. Stays very busy and is usually blown out and under staffed. Will usually have to wait in a very long line because there's only ever one open. The cashiers hustle but there's only so much you can do with one checklane by yourself.

I love shopping at the Dollar General store but the one closest to me NEVER is stocked & their credit/debit card machine is always down. I've tried using my digital coupons there several times & they NEVER work. Somebody needs to this store together.😡

This dollar general store is the cleanest one I have ever been in. It just so happened the gentleman in charge of keeping it that way was working. I had to tell him how nice and clean he kept it. It is not the closest one to me however , i will drive a little further to shop at this one.

I came into Dollar General for some playing cards, I kindly asked the store clerk (no badge/no proper uniform) if she knew where I could find them? She stated she didn't know and to ask her manager . I looked at the store manager and before I could speak she said "I'm off the clock" . I looked the entire store and I couldn't find any so I left without the playing cards. I'm extremely disgusted on the customer service and will never return for anything else. Let me ask you something, is the type of people you hire Dollar General?

-The store does not open at 8am (I'm guessing it opens at 9am or 10am cause I beat the opening shift to the store (5 past 8)) -The younger employees are rude -I had a employee grab me (there was 2 standing there btw) & tell me that I needed to pay for "the rest of my items at checkout" when I had just walked away from her register -Huge carts all in the aisles to the point you can't even move(in other words dirty)

The store is always cluttered and the staff is very rude. Not all of course but the few who I've had a negative experience with were so disturbingly rude and obnoxious it has tainted my overall experience. Staff park in the handicapped parking spaces and will stand at the door 20-30 minutes before close to turn people away because they want to walk out at closing time on the dot.

I was greeted at the door with a very cheerful smile and welcome. The store was easy to navigate and locate the few items I had specifically stopped in for. Check out line was handled efficiently and I was asked if I found everything I was looking for. Overall easy close parking, convenient location, and friendly staff

Almost aways a LONG SLOW LINE. Prices really aren't much or any cheaper than other places, with the exception of certain lines of merchandise (health & beauty, housewares). Most of the employees are nice, but there are a couple that are not at all. It is convenient though, as it is located at the entrance to our apartment complex and they do offer a wide variety of items.

I love Dollar General. They have some of the coolest stuff for only a dollar and you can find some of the same stuff for such a lower price. You shouldn't come here expecting the most amazing customer service or even the best looking store. You are at a dollar store afterall, yet the people who work here are always so nice. They remind you that they're not only workers but they're people too.

This store is under the supervision of children with no proper up bringing.. Its extremely cluttered and things needed are not available. With this situation, renting the rug doctor is what was needed. After 2wks and the offer of 10% off due to the one with the key being rented out and no other key we had to wait.. ok thats fine but going in today and being handled rudely has caused me to no longer support this store. As well as the child at the register couldn't count money.. The manager didn't feel the need to help her with anything. When I asked for the manager I was left standing for 15min and then when the young girl at register got loud with me is when the manager wanted to show her face.. Calling cooperate doesn't help either..btw NO STAR

Very Nice, clean and, Organized in the store. All Employees were very helpful and, Cheerful with Great Christmas Spirit! It's Not Very Close 2 Where I Live but, I'm Willing to Drive a Little Further to Shop at this Particular Dollar General. All Their Products Were Fully Stocked and, Had great named brands for very cheap! It saved me from going to 2 other different stores 2 continue with the rest of my list but, to my surprise this Dollar General Had Everything and, I DO MEAN EVERYTHING I NEEDED Right there at this Dollar General and, was actually all lot more cheaper than the ideal stores i was planning on going to next. I saved $32.00 at this Dollar General Today! THANK YOU!

They tried to steal my money. I had to call the police and then I got my money back. I have never had a problem with them before. I had my receipt and proof but they were just going to lie like they were calling someone to get confirmation but she was waiting me out so I could leave. Don't go to this dollar general they are dishonest.

Guess y'all are back to closing whenever you feel like it again. Got here at least 15 minutes before closing and the doors are already locked. Dude has to come let other customers out of the locked door and tells me the registers are already down (then how are you ringing up the people still inside?!). I point to the sign on the door that says OPEN DAILY TILL 11PM and ask why it says they're open till 11, he tells me they close early so they have time to wipe everything down. I'm sick and was looking for soup & gatorade and now that it's after 11 everything else is closed, so thank y'all for that 👍🏻

This is a typical Dollar General store.... Overstocked and understaffed. The morning male Manager and the evening female manager are two of the nicest people. They are always kind to everyone.

This location has great selection and is clean. Yet the managers are horrible at customer service. When I went to this DG, only one register was open, with 3 employees in the same aisle, stocking the same shelf. At least one was a manager. The line was backed up through the aisles, to the back of the store. Every employee, except the one at the register, refused to answer any question put forth by customers. They just stared over or to the side of their heads while pursing their lips. Even when one pushed her way (rudely) through the line of customers and was less than a foot away from the patron she refused to verbally respond when queried. All of the females working (all were women except the cashier) acted as if we were getting in the way of their work by shopping there. The customers were very disgruntled. I felt sorry for the young cashier, whom was doing his job well. They were backed up because they had one register open on Labor Day afternoon, not due to any sort of ineptitude on his part. Since he was the only one that would speak to customers, and the only one the other employees would answer, he became the middle man. When he asked if they were going to open another register, he was given a curt retort informing him that a drawer was being counted. 20 minutes later the till was finally placed in another register, although the light indicating it was open remained off. A manager announced she would take a couple of customers. Her face could not have communicated more displeasure if she had tried. She exuded resentment and discontent, and put so much force into her frown it probably left marks. We all heard the young male cashier asking the manager to fire him. I believe he was only hallf-way joking. This experience was not unique. I have frequented many Dollar General Stores across several states, and have found that a long line at the one register open while the rest of the staff are stocking shelves is practically a hallmark of the store chain. So is the ridiculous amount of time they take to count a register drawer. The main differences between stores is the convenience of location, cleanliness, product selection and placement. The only other characteristic that makes one DG stand out from another is the level if poor customer service. The better ones are simply indifferent, others are so rude they make the visit I just described sound overtly pleasant. But several employees refusing to speak to all customers was unusual.
