Normally we use the VB Pointer Trail DG, which is outstanding. The Phoenix Ave DG IS HORRIBLE. I’ve only been there a few times over the past year or so but each &every time the isles are clogged with the items they haven’t stocked. Today I had to squeeze sideways to even get in front door & few more times to shop. 1 cashier several people in line, after finish shopping still several people in line w/ several more behind me. I asked the other employee why not help check some of us out she said had to check in Coke delivery guy, she’s busy but didn’t know how to do it so kept interrupting THE ONLY CASHIER w/ questions. Meanwhile the 8 or so people in line wait while watching a customer having difficulty checking out-Line keeps growing-everyone is talking about how the place is always nasty and never any help. Definitely the worst Dollar General I’ve ever been in but on the other hand I’m comparing it to the best Dollar General store I’ve ever been in, the one in Van Buren.

I don't know how this DG location ever gets any rating higher than one star. Those reviews must be from a friend of a friend to keep the reviews from being minus one star. The LAST time I had to drop in there I was so disgusted and aggravated I'll never use that location again! The merchandise was just disastrous chaos. The isles were so full you could hardly walk thru to shop, and then there was Mercado's stacked in front of product that I needed. I tried, but I had to put my merchandise back and walked out!!! I don't know how anyone can shop there. And not to mention the store was also dirty. The floor was filthy right upon entering the store. - 1 *️⃣

Terrible customer service. And let's talk about Alexis who is the manager. While I was asking her question at the checkout she was sitting there texting on her phone and when I asked her where an item was she said I don't know if we have that or not and went back to texting on her phone. I just think with her being the manager she would have tried to help me find the item. Even if she wasn't the manager and just an employee she should have helped me find the item or told me no sir we do not carry that I apologize. So when you go to the Dollar general be sure and say hello to Alexis and remind her that she needs to work on her customer service. This isn't the only occasion where she has been rude, there have been two separate events other than this where she is just been flat out rude. Alexis I'm telling you you need to work on your customer service because you're not pretty number one and number two you have terrible customer service. So quit acting like youre so hott you don't have to help customers. I have never had any other problems with any of the em.ployees there and they have all been friendly. I just expect more out of a store manager

I like this one...unlike the other ones, there are no boxes all over the floor on EVERY ISLE. But the cashier is usually not at the register if shes not checking someone out, she's unboxing so you kinda gotta wait or find someone to notice you at the register. Friendly enough but you can tell they're a lil busy/preoccupied when you ask to be checked out. Not their fault. They have like 5 jobs to do as a cashier but I'm normally in and out and I love their seasonal isles

Couldn't really get through the store seemed as if they were restocking, but boxes and trash we're on every isle. They seemed as though they were supposed to be restocking but the 3 or the 4 employees that were visible were all on one isle conversing. When I finally had what I needed and was ready to checkout it seemed as if I was interrupting their conversation. I probably won't return to this location, I'm only giving 3 Stars because of the young lady that was restocking and cleaning up things by herself!

The employees are very rude and act like you are not even there. They have very poor customer service. They hardly ever have anything. They were out of tons of things. Empty shelves. The old woman is the only nice worker there. Its sad that she works at that dollar general and not one that has more nice and patient employees. I would not recommend this store to any one. The employees are just awful.

Was half-greeted by cashier, she proceeded to drop my items after bagging, doesn't apologize and then continued to laugh and joke with the next customer. Not saying any more words to me even after I said thank you and have a nice day. Completely ignored me. Rude. 9/16 11am

Their space is small so it feels a bit crammed in but they do a good job. This is one of my favorite locations. They never have boxes blocking the way. Staff has always been curious. The restroom is not super clean but not nasty. If you use their app you get coupons added automatically at checkout when you type in your phone number. Every other week I get Gain laundry soap for 2$. No more coupons to cut out!

They are constantly stocking so the aisles are a little crowded but, other than that 👍🏽great selection, good prices, and a friendly staff.

Worst ever. The staff has no idea how to ring up anything that's on clearance, or special marked. After 2 days of total nightmare trying to get my stuff rang up right, I finally got my refund. Train your staff better.

I normally hate going to dollar general, they are always out of what I need and the customer service is a joke. Chastian I believe his name was, at this location was amazing. Super nice and professional, as soon as I walked in asked me if he could help me find anything and pointed me in the direction of where it was. After a few minutes of looking and not finding it I came to the conclusion that they didn’t carry the specific Benadryl I was looking for, he sees me still looking still and helps me find it. Turns out it was in a weird spot and was able to locate it for me. This man 100% deserves a raise or promotion

I bought some dog biscuits at the Dollar General on 6711Phoenix Ave. Fort Smith, Arkansas and paid for it with my debit card. I pressed no cash back and the lady gave me $30. I told her that I pushed no cash. She got the manager and she told me that there was not anything she could do about it. They beat me out of $1.50 and I put no cash back. That's a shame that the manager beats elderly people out of their money. I have had it with that place.

If I could give less then one star I would. This place is DISGUSTING. This is the third time I have been in here and it is the same every time. As the employees are on their phones talking to their friends, the store is an absolute cluttered and dirty place. This needs new management and a new staff completely. Even the hand basket had a such a thick layer of dirt inside of it.

This is my favorite DG, The staff are always friendly and helpful and I do mean always friendly and helpful. They have all kinds of things and I especially like the $dollar isle. I think their prices are fair and the store always seems to be clean.
