The employees are always friendly whenever i come into the store. I would like to see the store a little more organized. Sometimes when i come into the store, the store is a mess. It could use some cleaning up.

They are NEVER OPEN!! I have been here 4 times in the past 3 weeks and they are always closed! Pay workers more money and maybe you’d have enough staff to keep the store open!

Seems here lately store closes by 4pm.happens to be when alot of people are just getting home from work.as I was leaving a closed store I watched 4 more cars of people stopping and getting very frustrated.why can't you get more help

Good place for quick shopping trips for odds and ends. This store is usually a mess with the stocking carts in the middle of the aisles. I do enjoy shopping the clearance and seasonal aisles.

Egg are not stocked regularly. Along with other items that they stocked before. Clerks on the other hand are very friendy and polite. And I always thank them.

Customer service is key 🔑 and the customer is always right! Don’t justify unprofessional behavior with me because I’ll call corporate! You see metro ain’t there nomore. I shopped here all the time but ol girl got one more time to get smart with me and I making that call. Store is disorganized and the staff is basic but what do you expect at the Hamlet lol

I've shopped in this particular location twice now,both events were pleasant shopping experiences. The staff is eager to help should you need it,and they seem to be very nice people and pleasantly sociable. At least ,4 stars 🌟 ✨

The workers are prejudiced.I’m a black husky female and I went in today wearing a bush, sleeveless shirt, grey shorts, and I grabbed a few items. Not too long after their intercom came on saying if you plan to steal we have police on standby so if you plan to steal please put items back or bring it up to register to buy! Are they serious.

Any time I go to this store, an employee (even tho no one is in a uniform) is always sitting on product outside the front door smoking a cigarette. The lines in this store can be so long, shelves empty, restock carts interfering with regular shopping. Is this what all DG’s are like? No wonder they are losing business. GO OUT BACK TO SMOKE YOUR CIGARETTES, no one walking into the store wants your second hand smoke!!!!!!

I shop here quite a bit and I have to say there's always a new face, some are friendly, some not so much. There's always boxes and u-boats on the sales floor and it's very hard to move through easily and get to the products you want to buy. Sometimes there's 4-6 of those u-boats across the back wall of the store and you can't even get through with the small carts, so I know a wheelchair would not be able to move around there. They have a back room because I've been there and heard the employees back there carrying on so no reason for the floor to be that bad.

This location is fairly small and disorganized. The one staff member that I encountered was friendly and helpful. However the store was busy and she was the only one there to assist customers. There were boxes everywhere that needed to be put away but since the shelves were full with merchandise there was little to no space for any new items. The store was very chaotic. At one point I did see another associate but he quickly disappeared when the store began to get busy. In his defense he may have needed to go on a break and considering they were short staffed they were limited on options.

This place is HORRIBLE. The staff is extremely rude and the place needs a deep clean. I gave it one star so I could review. Shame, past experiences at DG's have been great. NOT this one. Buyer BEWARE. DO NOT do anything to piss off the staff..like shop. LOL!!!

The people working over there are rude. My friend was shopping yesterday evening 02/19/2026 for Dasher ten minutes before they were closed. When the 10 minutes was almost up the white girl working there started insulting him and saying Dashers are not customers just because she wanted to leave and go home because she doesn't wonna open the register to check him out. I believe when someone is already in store and already shipping, they are supposed to let them finish shopping and let them check out or try to help to quicken the process. What is wrong is that she had closed the door so nobody else can comes in. Then she decided to call her boyfriend and other dudes to come in. ...she opened the door for them and the three dudes assaulted my friend/ the customer. I don't think dollar general corporate condones such actions or behavior of their employees or that's on their policies. Dollar general should investigate and fire the employee. They have cameras inside and I don't think it's gonna be a difficult job to make that decision. Foremost calling outsiders to come inside the store and assault a customer is way out of line. I believe Dollar general should do/ will do the right thing...... I also believe actions have consequences and dollar general should make things right.
