DG Detailz did a great job detailing my Kia Telluride (Midnight Black edition). They arrived on time, worked for around 4 hours under the blazing sun, and clearly put in a lot of effort. Both the interior and exterior were cleaned thoroughly, and overall, the car looked fantastic when they finished. I chose their top-tier package, which came to $530 after a $50 discount. That said, I’m leaving a 4-star review (and not 5) because of an issue that came up shortly after the service. A few hours after they left, I noticed the trim around my windows looked faded — something that definitely wasn’t there before. When I called to report it, I was told this was a “known issue” with my model and a “pre-existing condition.” They emphasized that they take pride in the products they use, so it couldn’t have been their fault. That part of the experience was disappointing. If it truly was a pre-existing issue, I would’ve appreciated them pointing it out before starting the detail. A simple walkaround or a few quick photos would have helped document the car’s condition — especially since they were at my place. Instead, it felt like the responsibility was pushed back on me, with little accountability or transparency. They did offer a complimentary wash, but I respectfully declined after the experience. ⸻ ✅ What they did well: • On-time, hardworking, and professional • Car looked great after the detail • Interior cleaning was top-notch ⚠️ What to watch out for: • Take detailed photos of your car beforehand — especially the exterior trim • Ask for a pre-detail inspection or walkthrough ⸻ Would I recommend DG Detailz? I had DG Detailz come out to my home to do a full detail on my 2023 Kia Sorento. I've owned the car for a 1 1/2 years and never waxed it during that time. Julie with DG Detailz quoted me a price and provided clear communication to me through email and text. Their prices are very competitive. Tyler and Chris showed up right on time and got to work on my car using all their own equipment in their van. They did a very thorough job of cleaning the inside, floor mats, the engine and the exterior. When the finished, my car looked showroom new! My car came out worse then before it was detailed Monday 9/15 it was detailed It rained 2days afterwards Thursday 9/18 The vehicle is in worse condition The rims were resurfaced and painted 2 weeks prior by the dealership The detailer ACID washed the rims thus stripping the paint The hood and drivers fender had a scratch The detailer suggested he could work and remove the scratches End result see the pictures I’d NEVER recommend this detailer to anyone so please beware
