Had a car wash. Paid $15 for extra wheel wash. Wheels were dirty and lots of water spots on my car. When I got home. Felt sorry for the young man being outside in the cold weather trying his best to dry off my car. Not sure I would return.

I really like this car wash. 5 stars ! Friendly staff and they do a really good job on my car from spraying off the dirt to hand drying at the end.

Absolutely worst Jax I have been too! I went there tonight and had to wait for the sales girl to quit flirting with the guy next to me so I could get through the gate since his was up, but hey who am I to prevent a possible hook up. The car wash was horrible and left soap all over my truck because it barely rinsed it. No towel guys so I go back through and they tell me they will rewash it. We'll of course you should. Same result, garbage wash. Nobody working the towel dry so I figured I would do it myself and go figure bins of towels were frozen. Definitely poorly managed and just another bad car wash Jax bought and just making money off of it instead of actually fixing it.

I have had the premium package for a very long time. Since they have changed owners, the grounds are Noticeably dirtier than they ever were before it’s like somebody’s not attending to the self-service area like they were before because there is garbage at every station all the time when they used to be immaculate all the time. They shut down the 24 hour self service area at night For a while, which sucked because I was paying for it and the hours I keep I was using it a late at night but it’s Open for a full 24 hours again So I digress. Sometimes the soap isn’t working I’m not sure if the mechanism is not squirting or if it’s simply needs to be refilled. It’s not just every once in a while Either here guys, I’m not nitpicking. It happens often enough for me to take the time to leave a novel for you to read. Which, it’s a lot as well as the Automatic roller Towel dryer at the end of the lineSometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t I just think that if the service is being paid for the machines should be functioning properly and or serviced relatively quick. this might be because of my vehicle, but down the dead center of my minivan in the very back never gets hit By the brushesand I always have to use a towel and finish myself. Also, the prices went up. I think my credit cards getting billed like $33 a month now it used to be $27.99

The equipment in the bays is well maintained and the vacuums work well in the self washing bays. The car wash at Gratiot south of 23 Mile works really well and does a better job than many other washes I have been through. And they have an employee using a clean hand towel on windows etc when you get out of the wash.

Signed up for the club last week with the best wash got home and the whole back of my tailgate was still dirty and don’t understand how your wash system would miss this. Not happy after my first wash - I plan to come to the wash over the weekend and hope I get better results or I’ll be coming to cancel my unlimited wash package. With several car washers in the area I will take my business there.

Jax Kar Wash: The staff is great. The dryer wheel hasn't been working for months, and when I come in the mornings there are rarely any towel dryers. I also came and it was closed several times at 7am, and that was my only time to get a wash. I called the office, and requested to have my next monthly fee refunded. I was charged on the 26th and wasn't able to get my vehicle washed and had my other complaints. I called within 2 days of being charged and was told that their policy was not to refund any monthly subscriptions after they charge. While I'm sure this is their policy, it shouldn't apply when I can't even use their services because they were closed. The gentleman on the phone also stated that they can close because of weather, but contradicted himself and stated they never reported being closed . I won't use them again!

23 & Gratiot is my go-to location which they're normally good/consistent. My last visit on Friday 12/26 wasn't so great. The spin brushes for the top and passenger sides weren't working so the final result was very poor. Afterwards I asked the girl that wanted to hand dry my (still dirty) truck and she knew of the issues. Maybe let customers know ahead of time that their vehicles won't come out clean. Everyone there is generally nice and respectful and she was about the issues. Things break but customers come to get their vehicle clean.

My experiences with Clean View Auto Wash has been awful. I get my vehicle washed daily. They have 4 car wash facilities in my area that I frequent. My licenses plate is never read by its electronic scanner and neither is the bar code on my windshield. At one of their locations which is a Touchless facility, I was left at the gate quite awhile since they have only one person working. After watching other cars go into the car wash, since their gate opened, I had no choice but to back out of my entrance gate and go somewhere else. In the entrances of their facilities, there is an attendant that is suppose to sprays down your vehicle. In all of experiences, only 1 side of my vehicle gets sprayed down, unless there are 2 working- 1 for each side of the vehicle. Another time at one of their locations, that only keeps that only has 1 person working, I had to go back through because my vehicle was still obviously wet. There was not anyone hand towel drying vehicles. I keep hoping their facilities will improve since their locations are convenient, but it hasn't. For $1.00 more, and 2 miles out of my, I can go to a car wash that my husband goes to.

the wash isnt the same every time. sometimes all brushes are going and sometimes they are not. it is different for every wash and car. wish they would treat it like their own vehicle. but it you just want to get most of the dirt off then your good.

Very disappointed in the self service stations. None of the low pressure options worked. Like the wheel cleaner, pre soak, spotless rinse, I let the staff know and they handled it well. Made sure the products were full. And they were. I let them know I would just continue with out them. They offered to let me go through the tunnel wash. Which I appreciated. Upon finishing up I got in my truck and realized the soap stained my hands and pants yellow. I’ve never experienced that before.. I will say the staff was great. But the wash station was very poor. I was contemplating getting a monthly membership but I’m going to look elsewhere.

got in the "any form of payment line". they do NOT accept tap to pay they do NOT accept coin (even if rolled) they accept only Credit cards and bills. So much for any type of payment eh? $11 for an exterior wash only and not even all the equipment was working. at least 2 of the spinning towel things didn't spin. still salt on either side of my license plate (imo it was not adequately sprayed off before entering the wash.) the guy thats supposed to towel the car at the end asked me if i wanted my car dried instead of just doing it. admittedly it was very cold out and i wouldn't want to dry cars in this kind of cold either. When i got home, i found there was still snow jammed up in the front passenger side wheel well. All 3 other wheel wells had hardly any snow build up from the short drive home on plowed roads - especially when comparing to the wheel well that i am saying they skipped!) IMO, this place is not nearly as good as it used to be before it became a jax. glad i got a single wash as opposed to signing up for a re-occuring monthly membership. i will not be returning to this location.

Did the self wash, went to 3 different bays just to wash car. First 2 hardly worked. 3rd one almost everything worked. Don't bother with the dryer, hardly works. If I'm going to pay $10 for self service at least make sure Jax that everything works. Just because you changed names doesn't mean don't take care of equipment.

I was unaware my Jax membership was valid at any location which turned out as a huge plus today. This location was very busy and I did notice it moved quickly, the quality was just as good here as at 26 mile store. I have a Chevy Silverado everytime I go it never fully washes the front end always dirt. in the old days they used to take a brush and hand was front grill and bumper, what you going to do.

The brushes at this location are constantly broken. The last 4 months minimum one top brush and 2 side brushes have been broken. Sometimes none of the top brushes work so your truck just stays dirty and they keep pumping cars through. When this was cleanview they kept up on maintenance. Not impressed for the amount of money I pay per month to jax. Good enough seems to be their business model.

5 Stars for Lea, what a sweetheart! Wife and I had an issue with the self wash membership where it only charged me for a single wash instead of the membership. Lea took great care of me, provided excellent guest service and got me squared away with the unlimited plan. The staff here in general are nice. 3 Stars for the self wash bays. I've been to this wash 3 times now and every time something is broken...First time I had to put back together one of the vacuum hoses, Each time the blow dryer heads have been barely working to not working at all. To be fair, this is probably due more to the carelessness of people who frequent this wash (dropping them over and over) than inattentiveness of the staff, but I let Lea know about the issue and she said she'd let maintenance know about it. Like someone else mentioned, the low pressure settings didn't work for me either for wheel wash or spotless rinse. Had to use 2 different bays to wash and then dry my vehicle....c'mon.... Profit seems to be prioritized over general upkeep but I still find value for the money when it's too cold to bust out the pressure washer and a bucket of soap at home. Probably bring my own compact leaf blower with me next time. Owners, please do better.

Used to be really nice, since winter started they’ve had problems everytime I go. From not having soap, to the vacuums not working, sprayers ripped off…. Whoever owns this wash needs to start keeping up more on maintaining it. No excuse for that kind of price.

Ran my truck through twice and still came out filthy. If your brushes are not working, maybe you shouldn't take people's money to do half the job.

Went there on Saturday February 7,2026 and got the $15 wash plus both ceramic coatings $23 total. No one was at the end of the tunnel to dry. Got to where I was going and my Jeep looked horrible. Most of the vehicle was still filthy. You could see where the brushes barely did anything. Only regret was not taking photos. Sent an email to Jax corporate that day. Haven't heard a word even though they say a response should be received in a day or two. Also the website is not very user-friendly for contacting them. Extremely disappointed especially with getting such great service in the past.

I've been a customer of Clean View Auto Wash for years before they were bought out by Jax Car Wash. They have always done a great job of cleaning the various vehicles I've owned over those years. There have been some times where the machinery wasn't all working that well but for the most part, everything has been good. I am not a fan of having a "dryer" person which makes you feel like you should tip them. The prices went up over 10% when Jax bought them and the service didn't increase to compensate for the higher fees. It's still the same old Clean View Car Wash machinery and end result, a clean car. One of the things that I want everyone to know is that when you pay for the "Ultimate Package" which now is over $39/month, you are paying for "tire shine" which doesn't work all that well or on a regular basis. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Also, I live in the country and accumulate lot's of bugs on the windshield. It irks me when the worker that is spraying off the car doesn't automatically spray "bug cleaner" on my windshield as soon as I get into the prep area. I have to ask them to do it and by the time they put it on, my vehicle is already moving and the bug remover doesn't have time to soak the bug remains so when I emerge from the tunnel, the windshield still looks terrible. For $40/month, you would think I wouldn't have to ask for it and the wash tech would know what to do. I did talk to management and that's when they told me I would just have to ask the tech to apply it. Not comforting at all. For those reasons, I gave them a 4 star rather than a 5 star rating.
