If I could give 0 stars I would. Lines are way too long just to pay an outrageous amount of money for a crappy car wash. I have heard nothing but negative things about Jax but wanted to try it for myself... now I see why and I definitely will not be returning. I am so excited that a new car wash has been built and I am looking forward to trying them out.

Nightmare experience. As both a member and a customer, my experience at the Jax Kar Wash @Rochester location has been consistently poor. I understand and accept long lines given the limited space. However, the real issue occurs after passing the gate, where two lanes merge into one. Customers in the left lane frequently attempt to cut ahead, creating frustration and unsafe interactions. On multiple occasions, I was subjected to rude and aggressive behavior. This is not a new issue—nearly every visit involves conflict at the merge point. Jax Kar Wash needs to implement a clear and effective system to manage traffic flow and prevent these incidents. I continue to visit this location because of its downtown convenience, but the current situation makes the experience unnecessarily stressful. Getting a car wash should be a calm, routine task—not a source of conflict that disrupts the day.

I used to be a monthly member for unlimited carwashes. I had the basic exterior option and it was ok. I canceled it and recently they sent me a coupon for a free everything exterior car wash. I said he let me give them another chance and try it again. My truck was not that dirty when I took it in and after the wash not much cleaner. I was not happy with the wash as the basics were not even clean. Take a look at the pictures. Also gave me a nice scuff mark on the side of my Truck! Not very happy with the outcome of this wash.

I have a membership at Jax and always choose to go to the Rochester location even though I have one closer. They are always helpful with my questions and make sure my truck is safe during the entire process. John M. is always kind and friendly, always making sure I feel welcome with a smile and hello!!

I just joined a new membership at this place, I used to work at a car wash for almost 20 years. They did not even broom the front or back of my car so the grill and everything came out looking like garbage. And they didn't even spray cleaner or scrub my rims. And also spray the wheel wells out. They weren't full of mud but they were dirty and they're still dirty. The people cleaning the inside of the car did a good job.. I've called here but not had a return phone call yet.

If I could give 0 stars I would… terrible experience and customer service. I have multiple memberships monthly and will definitely be cancelling all of them. Received a full service, and they took about 2 minutes to do the interior… car was not vacuumed, windows not wiped, floor mats soaked with water, cup holders full of water and charging station soaked. Spoke to some guy in charge of production and had no comment whatsoever and would not even give a refund.. I asked for towels and did it myself. Will for sure not be coming back here.

Trucks like a 2500 do NOT get brushed on front,hood, cap if you have one or the rear tailgate. They classify all trucks after model year 2019 the same as the new taller trucks so even the older year trucks that sit lower do not get washed. For 5 years my truck was getting all brushes then in 2019 all 2500’s stopped getting top brushes and front/rear. My truck didn’t change body styles, why the change? Also the dry chamois does not dry the front top or rear. They also assume all trucks have trailer hitch so the rear does NOT get any wash treatment by brushes . Damage claims was originally 10 years now it is limited to 5 years. So even though I signed off on damages to get truck properly cleaned between original years 5-10 they still don’t wash it even though I cannot claim any damages since I am long past damage claim limit in years. You basically pay $40/month to have vehicle sides washed and everything else spotted or smeared with dirt. Being disabled I cannot wash anything at window level or the top so I need a car wash. Hope I can find some place else.

I usually get great service but today was not as good as usual. Your employees on 2/22/26 afternoon were actually not on point. Maybe too long shift? Sprayer and dryer. The gentleman at the kiosk was great. Today I would give you a one start any other day you get a five start

Full Service done by the Sunday shift manager. Door jams were not wiped down, floors are barely vacuumed. I really don’t know what it is that I’m paying for. I’ll just start cleaning it my self.

I don't visit you often, because the glass inside is not of high quality.and then about 10 days ago, a handsome young guy, slightly taller than average, well-groomed, the second row from the gas station was washed so well from the inside and the windows in the sun without a single divorce... I was delighted, it was a pity I didn't ask what his name was, it was the working day of the week, and so I arrived last Saturday from the beginning I started driving out of the car wash and turned onto the road. I have a whole picture of streaks on the windshield, I can't go back to waste time, there are a lot of cars, a queue. outside, the car is automatically cleaned very efficiently at all times.very responsible guys are standing on aphthomatics, God grant them good health.You know, I sail regularly, but I don't come often due to my various circumstances.I am a straightforward and honest person and I am telling the truth:-"Bad is BAD" Perfect is PERFECT!!! I really regret that I did not ask what this HANDSOME guy's name is, what a pity ... I think that in order to keep such a clean guy who works cleanly, he should receive more at once!!!this is serious, and you also get discounts on services more than once. As long as I pay, the amount has not decreased. I pay almost no more than a few pennies over $50, so check how much I paid you for the entire period and how much I was, at least out of this savings they would pay not for the length of service, but who does it masterfully.!!!I'm not the only one! The attendants were helpful. I got an interior clean. I had a coupon from joining the unlimited wash club. I can’t say that I would pay the regular price of 49.99 for it. They cleaned my car for roughly 10 minutes. When I got back to it, it still had dust on the dash and console. It looked like the cup holders weren’t wiped down either. I was slightly disappointed but given the coupon brought it down to $10 it was fine. I wouldn’t recommend paying 49.99 for this service tho.

I had an outstanding experience at Jax Kar Wash in Rochester,Michigan. From the moment I pulled in, the staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and efficient. I barely even had to lower my window—she took care of everything and selected my car wash right on the monitor for me. Talk about seamless service! The carwash Damaged y truck and now they won't call me back. The truck has an 8ft highway products toolbox/ladder rack and they were supposed to turn the top brush off like every other carwash I've been too had done. Now i can't get ahold of anyone, no one returns calls. I guess i should've known, about 15 yrs ago the royal oak location 11/Woodward put softball size dent and a long scratch on my driver door and they told me they aren't liable unless I can prove it wasn't damaged before. They had crappy video at the time., So that didn't go anywhere. But this location you can absolutely see that everything was fine on the truck until I pull out the other end of the wash and pull up to the vacuuming station i get out and its clear as day. I told them something felt like I got stuck in the wash when The guys started towel dryi g, he said " oh its ok it happens all the time, sometimes the rolers skip. So I get out to finish drying the truck and the ladder rack bar over the tailgate was destroyed, broke the welds on the brackets and clamped the tailgate closed... needless to say ill never go to another jax. What really passes me off i told the lady at the gate were you pay to tell them to shut the top brush off and I said it again when to the guy pushing to buttons to send vehicles through the wash. Extremely unhappy.

Love jax.. I really like that they're so conveniently located!! Great and friendly location on Rochester Rochester. A note to the locations with have a drive up on conveyor .. the wheel shine(even if not used on my car) at the end sometimes still spinning and spitting black gunk on my white paint. That's why I didn't give 5 stars
