New Clean Express Auto Wash opened figured I would try it out they have memberships with unlimited washes and single time washes I chose the 12 dollar wash and it was pretty smooth and efficient. The car wash also has free vacuums with long reach and air guns to get the tough to reach areas . The car wash is a contact wash with spinning rollers so it is not contactless

Good location. Can get really busy. Shorter wait time if you sign up for the membership. Free vacuums. Nice helpful staff.

The staff are welcoming and approachable. The location is easily accessible from the main road. The dryer actually dries your vehicle. The Gratriot-Roseville location is my favorite thus far. I thank my husband greatly for gifting me a membership to Clean Express Auto Wash.

Absolutely not worth the price. Guy spent more time trying to talk me into a club/membership thing than I did in the actual wash. When I got home I had tons of streaks and chalky/water marks on my windows and mirrors- does not even appear to have washed the back and trunk of my SUV at all. Can't believe that they offer subscriptions for such poor results.

Quick easy wash. Perfect for what I need. The water is softer than my Buick dealers and doesn’t leave spots. Addition 12/24/24 - I went for my second visit in a year. My ebony black vehicle was covered in road salt. Looked like a white mist all over. I have the holiday unlimited package that includes the ceramic. My vehicle was very clean and all the white mist is gone. I did find one spot on the rear under the bumper where it is a protective plastic to keep debris from hitting the paint. I would not have noticed, but I was doing a close spot search. I went back the next day and it is gone. My vehicle looks like it does in the summer when I apply a quality ceramic spray wax. I am very satisfied and will continue when it is too cold to wash in the driveway.

I was anxious for the Clean Express car wash to open. I bought one of their founding memberships at half price for their ultimate wash. They have had some serious growing pains. It took months for their license plate reader to work, so members had to wait for the attendant to manually enter their information into the kiosk. That was finally fixed, at least for me. Then, the company decided that the brand new vacuums needed to be painted green, which made them unavailable for customer use. I had to vacuum my vehicle interior elsewhere during that time. I also wound up with water spots on my vehicle, because I couldn't use the lot where the vacuums were to wipe my vehicle down after the wash. I decided that I didn't need a membership there until they are better established. I went there today, the wash was good and the vacuums and lot are again available. I wish the company well, but I found another facility that is better established. I likely will not return after my membership runs out. Update 12/26/24: I received two $50 gift certificates to Clean Express for Christmas. They can only be used on single washes. In my opinion, the only single wash that is a decent value is the basic $7 wash. I'll get 14 of those washes from the gift cards and I guess I'll buy some products to finish the job at home, until the washes run out. At least I'll have access to the vacuums, which are great, unless they decide that the vacuums urgently need to be painted another color again. Update 2/25/2025 The non-member line only advances about one car every 8 minutes. If you have to use a gift card, expect to be there over a half an hour to get a car wash.

So tired of there being an issue every time we come through for the last year. Tried to give them time to iron it out, but as a member sitting everytime waiting 10-15 minutes for them to find my membership gets old. I can show them my account is active on the website but they can’t find it in their program. We have 3 cars in our household that have a membership and all 3 cars have an issue. We actually like the way it washes but the hassle is unreal. And I always see other people having problems as well.

They have free vacuums. The wash club membership is a great deal. I stop here almost every day. My car is so shiny now! Staff is always super friendly and helpful

It’s worth noting that I wash my car myself because I’d hate for my front bumper to come off mid wash (it’s been damaged for years)- so I only ever use the vacuums there. But I must say- they are phenomenal!!! I love it so much, I can’t see myself going anywhere else. I’ve had very minimal contact with staff, but the contact I have had was all pleasant, and quite refreshing. If I should ever get a new car, or fix my bumper- this is likely one of the first places I would go for a car wash, based on my experience just using the vacuums.

I've got the subscription car wash and it's definitely worth it if you want to always have a clean car. The free vacuums are great too. They do have issues with the license plate readers, especially the far right one. If it wasn't for that, I'd likely give it 5 stars.

I recently took my 2026 Chevy Traverse here for a wash. While going through, The "rag spinners" were so close to the sides and spinning way too fast, they were "grabbing" the side mirrors and "jamming" them both forward and back. By the time I reached the end, Both mirrors were out of their normal position. I am only going to give this place a 3 star, because although the truck was clean, I was constantly watching and waiting for my side mirrors to get broken by the "rag spinners". Sorry, but I won't take another chance here. These places really need to "adjust" the spinners because they are going to break some mirrors.

I’ve been a paying member for some time, and while the car wash itself does a good job, the traffic flow and lane management are consistently frustrating. The facility has three lanes: one designated for new members and two for paid members. Unfortunately, the two paid member lanes are frequently backed up into the street, creating congestion and unnecessary delays, while the new member lane often sits completely empty. Rather than adjusting lane usage to improve overall flow during busy periods, management continues to keep the new member lane open with no vehicles, even when paid members are waiting in traffic. This setup feels inefficient and gives the impression that existing members’ time is not being valued. X With better lane management and flexibility during peak hours, this location could significantly improve the customer experience for its loyal, paying members.

This is my second time here. My first wash was the $22 wash and I thought it did a pretty darn good job although the drying left a little to be desired. Fast-forward to today two weeks later and I tried the $18 wash and I was absolutely appalled. There was bird crap still stuck to my windshield after going through the wash. It didn’t even remove any of it the slightest amount. There are streaks up and down my hood along with water spots all over. The grill looks like it didn’t even touch the brushes, and I could’ve done a better job on my rims with my fingers. I was considering going back in and asking for a rewash. But I was so disappointed that I don’t even want to give them another shot. I honestly think a $12 touchless wash would’ve done a better job. I would highly recommend going somewhere else and I will never give any of their locations my future business. I will continue driving to Clawson and go to Paul’s for a better car wash for less money.

You know I've come here a lot and I wanted to like this place... The issue is the wash doesn't wash your entire car and unlike some other car washes they don't prewash or get those spots that the wash misses like the very front, the rear and the mirrors. You come out half washed and paying $11 for a half washed vehicle isn't right at all. So besides the free vacuums it's not even worth it.

The wash it self is nice the results are great but when I became a member my expedition had a factory roof rack suddenly on the second time using the membership the top brushes never hit the car. Hood windshield roof back windshiled all stayed dirty. I went back again to go through and the same brushes never hit the car. I talked to an attendant who then said due to the roof rack the brushes retract. Why let me become a member in the first place if you know that the brushes will not hit the car. Policies of such nature should be disclosed at the time of becoming a member. Very disappointed with the customer service. Reasoning was the factory rack damages the brushes. Im not sure what els a car wash is for if it cant handle a factory roof rack

Went here for a simple car wash (car wash was great) - Bill the one handling payments on the non membership side( very rude and angry) because I didn’t buy a membership. When told him no thank you and handed him my card he decided it was ok to look at the name on my card and give me attitude by name. Not how you get someone to buy a membership or to even return. Sorry Bill now not only are you not getting me to buy a membership you’re not getting any of my money period. ✌🏻

This car wash is incredibly disrespectful of their customers time. It took over 30+ minutes for a basic wash. I arrived at 4:57pm, did not reach the tunnel until 5:32pm. An employee came around saying they have been having issues with the tunnel the whole day and it would be a 15 minute wait for a repair technician. No way for us to leave, no offer of a refund or upgrade. No sorry for the wait once I got to the tunnel. Clean express should shutdown for the day, rather than waste customers time. To top it all off my car came out incredibly wet, their dryer did not do a good job.

Overall this place is a good value. They offer single washes and monthly packages at different levels all reasonably priced, and free self serve vacuuming. They do not towel dry but do have powerful blowers though. The staff is very friendly and professional. For the price of any of their unlimited monthly packages it’s a no brainer to sign up. 2 washes and it already paid for itself.

This is a place the obviously does not communicate as a team. First incident NOT building your vehicle inside the car wash converter belt. Secondly it happened again….. no guidance to enter the wash cycle( which can caused damage to your car). Third incident (the towel). I drive and SUV and o purchased a blue towel. However my car requires two 2️⃣. So they been accommodating me (off their suggestion) to give me and extra one. Meaning I already have one. They allowed me to use the second upfront no cost. And I bring both back and they return the one 1️⃣ dry. I didn’t ask. This is what THEY wanted to do I did not ask)!!!! So I was grateful and took the accommodation. Now that same employee who got told on about not building my car inside. Gives me the worst headache about this extra usage of a towel! There are so many car washes who offer the same benefit. I would highly suggest go to them. This business does not stand on integrity, respect or responsibility!

Crappiest washes ever gotten! You drive out of there with soap on your side mirrors (windows sometimes) Doesn’t clean or dry all the way! I continue going there bc they convinced me to get a membership. Best believe I’m canceling! Not worth your money. On another note, the staff is great/friendly.
