I thought this store is 24 hours? I've walked into a locked door more times than one should at a 24 hour location. Will be taking my business elsewhere. I can find cheaper gas virtually anywhere.

1/27/23 -Half of the Polar Pops were out of order. They did have signs. Then I went for Diet Coke. (no sign) Yup, it was out too. So II bought a 20 oz bottle for twice the price and no ice. #firstworldproblems.

No instructions at the car wash saying not to put your card in before the car in front of you has finished. It will take your money and the staff WILL NOT HELP YOU. Don’t waste your money here.

Cashier was rude and smart mouthed. Short African American woman, with a smart mouth and rude attitude! Some people should not be allowed in the public service industry. Millions of people unemployed right now, you should be thankful you have a job. If I were manager of that store you'd be fired.

Zero stars if I could. Staff is filled with children who have no work ethic and lock the doors pretending that they can't provide service for whatever reason they can come up with. Corporate should shut this store down IMMEDIATELY, remove the owner and run it themselves. Directly to the management, owner, and staff, you are all awful and should be jobless immediately.

The worst possible convenience store EVER. Actually, the entire Circle K chain around Charleston is done of the worst ever encountered. Store is out of coffee, out of creamer, employee couldn't be bothered to look up from her phone to acknowledge me or answer my questions. Go elsewhere. This chain is useless.

Horrible service, horrible employees in my opinion! I purchased gas and a few snacks...My total came to $14.43. The cashier told me that they would have to keep my change. Really? I asked her did they keep everyone's change and she said yes. This is stealing.... I did not get gas or the snacks. I would prefer to run out of gas before I ALLOW them to steal my change. I left everything on the counter! Don't allow people to tell you that a change shortage exist. All it takes is one WISE person on staff to go to the bank and make sure that coins are always in the drawer. I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Consumer Affairs to inform them of what is happening.... Don't fall for this mess. Also, the cashier treated me as if I was the one with the problem because I would not allow her to keep my change. In my opinion, they have the worst employees; no class at all!

Air pump doesn't work. It's a known issue, and they refuse to refund your money or replace the machine. They see it as a free $2 from anyone unlucky enough to have a flat near their location. I wouldn't advise anyone to come here for anything. There are better gas stations and convenience stores a quarter mile in any direction.

The restroom is horrible, I reported the mess to who I’m going to assume is a manger and instead of him locking the doors to clean he decides to continue ringing up customers. Granted he said he’s the only one working so this problem falls on the company first, management second. No one should be working alone!! It’s a huge safety hazard, also as a frequent customer and former employe of this company the restroom should ALWAYS BE clean. I don’t think sales should matter that much. In my opinion just locking the store door for 5 minutes to clean shouldn’t be a problem. The company as a whole dropped the ball. Nothing to complain about as far as the gentleman I spoke with but it’s clear he’s stressed being there alone with no help. CIRCLE K failed his young man!

Octavia is extremely rude. I stood off to the side for over 5 minutes so I could wait for a cash transaction that would open her drawer so I could get quarters to use the air outside to fill my tires. Twice the drawer was accidentally closed for cash transactions that could have gotten me my change. Maybe she wouldn't be so distracted if she was serving her customers at the register without running her mouth with whoever was on the same side of the counter with her. She copped an attitude with me when I asked "How many times are you going to close that drawer?" after the second time it was closed without giving me change. I was told I could leave. It's evidently my fault for getting short with someone that is being absent minded because they are busy running their mouth 90 miles an hour to a co-worker while they ring out customers. RUDE!!!!!

Saturday afternoon and the fountain drinks are out of order, and no large cups for Frosters, half of which aren't frosty, just spluttering sticky liquid. The clerk Ok'd me using soda cups for frosters, but seemed to charge extra. I asked about the special on the sign: 2/$3 large, why was total $4.20? She said, oh I only charged you for regular, not large, so after her "correction" my total increased! I added a $2 scratch off, and received and paid for $5 ticket because clerk was unwilling to take responsibility for even looking which tickets matched up to the "display" tickets. There was a line behind me, and another customer gettting frustrated with the clerk about the gas pumps, so I didn't fuss, but it's never a good experience when you end up coming out paying twice as much without actually getting what you wanted.

I knew Charleston was filled with the laziest people I have ever met in my entire life, but it is laughable at the fact that you come into the Circle K. There are three people behind the counter. None of them want to serve you. They are all on their phones and they make you use the automated machine to pay for everything but then again have you seen the district manager? He doesn’t look like he gets off his butt very much either this company is trash.

This store is about as successful as ocean gate visiting the titanic. Speaking of sinking ships, this ship has sunk. If I could leave zero stars I would. The worst gas station I’ve ever been to. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen “system down, store closed”. Nobody believes this lie. The only system that is down, is the system you use for hiring your employees. I can’t wait for Parker’s to officially put you guys out of buisness, and I hope they don’t hire the people that you thought would run your store efficiently. I’ll leave the owner of this store with a bit of advice. Do better

I stopped to buy 6 Marlboro, as usual. I had a coupon in the app, the "lady" did not want to scan it. It was a $1 coupon, but why waste this dollar ? I left all packs there, I refused to buy them. Never again, West Ashley is plenty gas stations.

Entered the store didn't see any employees at first. Heard someone talking, found employee sitting off side of counter talking on her phone, she saw me but made no attempt to get up or off the phone. After I stood at counter for a few minutes waiting to purchase lottery tickets I finally had to tell the employee I was waiting for service, she took her time getting up still on the phone. She remained on the phone while serving me. I can tell by her conversation on phone that it was a personal call. Need to stop employees from talking on their phones while working so they can focus on the customers.

Always out of stock, nothing is where it is supposed to be (where the sticker is). Employees are rude when you ask them to check. Always a long line, clerks in no hurry to do anything. One of the Worst "convenience" place around.

UPDATE: Two weeks later and still no response from Circle K customer “service “. At 5:50pm, October 24, 2022, I purchased gas and a premium car wash at Circle K store 2705121. I entered the car wash and as the car was receiving the tri-color polish, the car wash stopped. I drove my soapy car around to the store entrance and encountered one of the least helpful employees ever. The employee said her name was “Kay”, but she said it with a smirk, and I’m not certain that is her real name. Mind you, she was looking at her personal cell phone for most of the encounter and barely made eye contact. Me: Hi, the car wash stopped working, my car is full of soap and I need a refund. Kay: We don’t give refunds for car washes. Me: My car is fully soaped and I’m afraid it will damage the paint. Who can give me my money back for the service I didn’t receive? Kay: You have to call the number. Me: What number? Kay: That number (points to a sign on the entrance door). I called the number which announced the customer service line closes at 5:00, so I listened to the voicemail prompts only to find I could not leave a message. I hung up. Me: Is there a manager or regional manager I can speak to? Kay: No. Me: How about the number of a manager I can call? Kay: I’m not giving you my manager’s number. Me: I don’t mean a personal number. How about an office number? What is the number of this store? Kay: We don’t have a phone. (Yes, they do. I found it online as soon as I came home.) Me: Really? (I laughed.) Can I get your name? Kay: Kay Me: OK. Thank you (and I left). I proceeded down the highway with tri-color foam flying off of my car to the nearest car wash. By then, I had to scrub the residue off of my car. I usually come to this store because it’s convenient. I’ve come to expect no windshield cleaner nor paper towels at the pumps. Pumps are out of receipt paper more often than not. The car wash is inoperable from time to time. This apathy I received from your employee is the final straw. She seriously ENJOYED being rude and unhelpful. Her smirk the entire time indicated she had no desire to offer any form of professionalism.

Greetings.... This review is on attention to the District Manager, on this day 7.31.25, there's was an small issue actually two issues one small one bigger. Around 9:35am I came to purchase from company and upon entering I noticed two employees at work, although the cooler wasn't stocked or faced along with the fountain machine out of drinks entirely. I first acknowledged to your unprofessional manager that the franks on the roller was old and needed to be wasted. No response on that, since I was without breakfast I still wanted to buy because of the $3 deal with drink and chips. I entered store with one cup for drink and one microwave snack of my own. Upon being rung up for sale I was overcharged then I was combative on my your manager Keisha after noticing the charge price I clearly stated the above to her and she was on her phone during the sale (possible retaliation) she tried to charge me for whatever she felt- I'm a professional business owner and previous sale associate of a gas station. I don't appreciate how I was treated and talked too (I looked at the regular employee just for recognition of sale, she said nothing). I'm not sure why maybe because my appearance but intelligence suits inside- she falsely attempted to tell me about the deal is not valid because of the lack of drinks in the soda machine until I informed her of the knowledge of inventory. Hopefully there's some type of discipline your company has because that's legitimate from this complaint and there's more because others haven't/ wasn't able to report. This is how some customers feel and how some actually go in to action that's *different than reporting. Please act according to your regulations. If possible I'd like a rewards/ gift card directly from that manager just to do that the bias she's I operating the store under is not tolerated. Thanks for your consideration, I'm a native to this land and hate to see folks in management doing this to people. Hopefully you guys keep actual workers in stores, lol AI robots will be in your company in near future. The camera has footage no pictures taken this time.
